Good wine list!
You can park nearby in the public parking lot.

29/09/2025: How wonderful! An enchanting place, where the welcome is warm and familiar, the service attentive, and every dish is a discovery of taste and refinement. The experience is accompanied by an excellent selection of wines, designed to enhance each course.
The only flaw? My guests kept bothering me... but only to tell me how magnificent they thought everything was!
But I was certain. When you create something with passion, it shows. And it shows.

09/02/2026: I gave the food three stars because, without a doubt, their strong point is the pizza, which is delicious. The rest is a matter of course...
If you come on Saturday and Sunday, they give the impression they want to rush you out. I've been to this restaurant three times and noticed that if you come during the week, they work properly, but on Saturday and Sunday, they're like an assembly line.
Gorgeous location with an excellent view!
Fair prices for pizzas and desserts, but if you want first and second courses, other places are better.
Unfortunately, Angera is a deathbed...

16/02/2026: Crostata is standard, as is linguine with sea carbonara. It's a shame there's no table on the terrace, even though there were two free tables for the entire two hours – not at the front, but on the terrace. It's also a pity the waiter refilled our wine glasses without asking as he walked by. Oh well, at least the village pub has knife rests.
There are simpler restaurants that offer a more pleasant dining experience. I've heard the pizza is okay, but there are plenty of good pizzerias around.
02/12/2025: It's a spectacular pizzeria restaurant in every way, with a wonderful view of the lake. Plus, you can walk to the beach directly from the restaurant. I had an incredibly delicious risotto; we had a delicious appetizer and a second course of fish, both excellent and sublime. If you want to make a good impression and eat very well, make a reservation.

20/09/2025: We came for pizza, but we had to go to the kitchen because there was an hour and a half wait. Then, when they served us from the kitchen, they told us we could also eat pizza.
Very rude behavior.
05/09/2025: Terrible experience at the Kiosk (August).
We were greeted by a stressed pensioner who huffed and puffed, talking behind his back, and shaking his head at every customer request.
It's a shame about the restaurant, which is very nice, and the owner, who seemed very professional.
But for goodness sake, let stressed pensioners act like pensioners.

14/01/2026: I went last night for the first time and it will also be the last. The starters and meat were good, the fish main courses inedible. We didn't even eat one of three different courses. What surprised me was that when it came to the bill, knowing that the three courses were brought back whole and they had asked why, and we kindly explained why, they didn't have the good sense to discount those dishes. We paid for everything in full without comment, but it will be the first and last time. An experience not to be repeated.

08/11/2025: A small and cozy shop in Luino, where you can choose from their wine selection or ask for advice from the owner, a charming and polite (and professional) person. You can buy wines, as well as other products they sell, such as teas, chocolates, and artisanal sweets... and for Christmas, they have some delicious treats! There's also a small outdoor terrace. A visit is a must... and a glass of wine is essential!

20/01/2026: We went on Sunday afternoon for the first time with a gift voucher (€60 for two). We ordered: two hot chocolates, one diluted with water, a slice of chocolate cake, and a zabaglione ice cream from Borducan. I should point out that I ate ice cream drowned in egg yolk. I was recommended their orange elixir, thinking it was an infusion or tea, but instead I ended up with a small glass of liqueur. My son had a stuffed focaccia and a hot chocolate, which we paid €15! I must say, poor quality, very high prices.
06/01/2026: I called to reserve a table for a snack, and they told me that after 3:30 PM the bar doesn't take reservations.
When we arrived, after a 50-minute drive, we were surprised to find that the bar was closed and that reservations were required for the aperitif. Even though there were free tables, they were already fully booked when we arrived.
Significant communication and organizational problems.
A ruined afternoon and a waste of gas.
It's a shame because, having always known the place, it deserves better management.

Good food. Few raw ingredients. Jasmine tea sent back because it wasn't jasmine, but it was found on the bill.
10/11/2025: A splendid restaurant overlooking Lake Lugano, serving Chinese, Japanese, and Italian cuisine. Buffet appetizers and the option of fresh fish and meat cooked to order.
