18/01/2026: There are few osterias around as extraordinary as Asso di Fiori, and after a long wait, I finally managed to stop in for a meal. The name speaks for itself. I had the eight-piece cheese platter and focaccia with butter and coppa, plus two pasta dishes, because I don't consider gnocchi a first course. Everything was delicious, excellent quality, and the waiter was incredibly friendly. The place deserves to be packed every night.

30/12/2025: A restaurant in the countryside of Assago. We've been guests several times and always had a great time. The atmosphere is family-friendly and the ambiance is immediately captivating. At a social dinner, there were about 20 of us, the service was impeccable, the dishes were delicious, and the staff was very efficient. On other occasions, we've had elegant lunches with gourmet dishes. A very interesting menu. Every time, a surprise. The parking lot is very spacious. The reception is a bit limited. The owners are very friendly. Prices are in line with the restaurant's character.

18/01/2026: We reached Botinero easily by car; parking in front of the restaurant was really convenient. Upon entry, we were greeted immediately and seated on the elegant and well-furnished outdoor terrace with a few tables, a piano bar, and sofas. We began with an entrée of cheese mousse with salmon and chips, accompanied by a glass of prosecco. Next, we enjoyed a beef tartare with truffles, paired with a bottle of Masi Campofiorin. For main courses, we chose fillet steak, ribeye steak, and El Tractor, all top-quality Argentinian meats, cooked to perfection and truly tender and flavorful. To finish, we ordered panna cotta and tiramisu, accompanied by some bitters, and to finish, butter pastries and meringues, included in the cover charge. The service was impeccable: attentive and meticulous, but never intrusive. Overall, the dinner was excellent, with top-quality meat and top-notch service. The price was in line with the quality, recommended for a special evening.

A special thank you goes to Rita, who guided us through the organization with a rare professionalism and kindness that truly made the difference. The location is splendid: refined, welcoming, and perfect for those seeking a warm, family atmosphere. Our guests felt pampered from start to finish, and many complimented us on our choice. The service and catering were impeccable. Delicious dishes, meticulous presentation, and constant attention without ever being intrusive. Every moment was enhanced by a setting that conveys history and style. Villa Campari was more than just the setting for our wedding: it became part of the most precious memories we will carry with us. We recommend it to anyone seeking an elegant, intimate event, managed by people who truly put their heart and soul into their work.

12/01/2026: Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation... We ordered the fish tasting menu, but besides the fact that it wasn't a multi-course tasting menu—it was just an appetizer, a first course, and a second course—the first course, "Mixed pasta and potatoes, slightly spicy, creamed with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and clams," was a real disappointment! It had no flavor whatsoever! It was completely bland, no Parmesan, nothing spicy, and most importantly, no clams; there were only two of them! The rest of the dish, the salmon tartare and the mackerel, were passable, but nothing exceptional. Logically, given the nature of the restaurant, we weren't charged for the first courses, which speaks in their favor (we didn't eat them, after all), but I would have preferred to pay and eat... The location is very charming and moderately elegant, the staff competent and helpful. The prices are moderately high. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it, but having not tried other dishes, I can't give an overall positive review either.

The atmosphere is intimate, with a unique Russian feel, and the two people who work there truly demonstrated Russian hospitality. I will definitely return with my partner to enjoy other specialties.

The traditional cuisine is excellent, authentic, and well-executed. Also noteworthy is the excellent selection of Georgian wines, truly top-notch. The service is attentive and professional, perhaps a little too fast for those who like to take their time at the table, but always courteous. A very positive final note for the owner, friendly, welcoming, and capable of making guests feel truly welcome. A restaurant recommended for those seeking a different, quality experience.

17/01/2026: Spectacular in every way: the food, the service, and the waiter who served us were very friendly, polite, and kind. He even explained the history of the place and some of the restaurant's products. The restaurant is also worth a visit for its ambiance. It's far from us, but we don't regret the trip at all, and we'll definitely be back!

10/01/2026: It's always a guarantee! Reservations are always recommended. The food, atmosphere, service, organization, everything is truly commendable.... However, I don't recommend coming on Saturday evenings as the workload is really different, and to manage everything, reservations are only accepted by shift. In short, you have to hurry up and eat 😅.

15/01/2026: It's a fun place, I liked it. They're open late, so it's worth a visit. They have an interesting selection of beers on tap, both Italian and other, mostly European, brands. They probably have the largest selection of whiskey bottles I've seen in a bar (I don't know if you can order everything). Other spirits include amaro, rum, and mezcal. Beer prices are standard: 6-7 euros for a 0.4 liter bottle; rarer options may be available in smaller quantities.

There’s a clear sense of direction behind the choices, and the staff reinforces that with a straightforward, efficient, and knowledgeable approach. You’re guided when needed and left to enjoy when you’re not. The real highlight, however, is the Abruzzese arrosticini. Perfectly grilled, juicy, and full of flavor, they are done the right way simple, honest, and uncompromising. They quickly become the main reason to come back. The other Abruzzo products on the menu are equally consistent and coherent with the overall concept. The atmosphere is lively and convivial, ideal for an after-work stop, a relaxed dinner with friends, or an informal night out. Scotto doesn’t aim to be luxurious; it aims to be right and it succeeds. A solid, reliable address for great beer, real food, and genuine character.
