20/07/2025: The best pasta I’ve had on the Amalfi Coast yet. Service was great & I enjoyed singing and clapping along for others birthday songs. Not a lot of vegetarian options but the one I did have was excellent. I will certainly be back here in the future!

28/07/2025: Vinimos a almorzar. Las vistas eran espectaculares, incluso cuando IT llovía. El personal era muy atento y la comida era fantástica. Comencé con las yemas de huevo crujientes, seguido del filete de filete. Algunos de los mejores alimentos que he comido en la costa de Amalfi. Mi esposa tenía la lingüina de langosta, que también era increíble. Los postres estaban al mismo nivel. Para tan buena comida y vino, el precio era extremadamente razonable. En mi opinión, no se decepcionará si come aquí. Vale IT pena.

04/08/2025: Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Positano! Loved the lush citrus gardens, dreamy courtyard pool, and the relaxed vibe tucked away from the bustle. Staff went above and beyond and service felt genuinely warm. Breakfast was a standout—great pastries, cappuccinos, and fresh local ingredients. Perfect spot if you want charm, comfort, and a central location with sea views.

08/06/2025: This was our last meal in Positano and it was perfect. Great ambiance, excellent service and food. Started with drinks and snacks in the lounge area of the terrace which was comfortable and beautiful. Then dinner outside with a gorgeous view- we were a party of 5 and they sat us at a round table which was perfect. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a dreamy Italian dinner!

24/07/2025: Posto molto carino ed originale, cibo ottimo, rapporto qualità/prezzo un po’ alto ma siamo a Positano e ci sta…ma quello che ha rovinato l’esperienza è stato il comportamento del proprietario che è stato tutto il tempo a parlare al telefono a voce alta, con un atteggiamento a mio parere disarmonico rispetto al mood del locale. Peccato! Il locale avrebbe ottime potenzialità, ma se si vuole trasmettere una certa filosofia bisogna prima crederci!

15/08/2025: We ate there for lunch on August 15th. What can I say? Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious, based on fish. We'll definitely be back.

15/08/2025: A lovely hidden gem close to Vietri sul Mare, with a beautiful shaded garden beneath the lemon trees. The food and service are excellent, offering great value for money. We visited several times during our stay, and it never disappointed.

11/08/2025: I was at this restaurant last night and had a truly pleasant experience! The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The view is simply breathtaking. We ordered appetizers, 2 first courses, and 2 second courses; I must say, everything was delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was excellent. The service was quick and attentive. The wait staff was very helpful in answering our questions and suggesting dishes. The prices were reasonable and reasonable considering the quality of the food. I highly recommend Falalella to anyone looking for a good meal in a unique setting. I will definitely be back!

27/07/2025: Hotel Scapolatiello—where do I even begin to describe it? Let me start with accessibility and location. The hotel is located in the old town (in the mountains) of Cava de' Tirreni. You can drive all the way to the hotel and park there for a reasonable fee. We were driving a Citroën C4, and the narrow alleyway mentioned online was manageable with this car (a few centimeters of space on either side). The hotel is a 200-year-old building that was built, or appears to be part of, an old defensive wall. It offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. The ambiance of the hotel can be described as authentically luxurious and romantic. The hotel restaurant has a fine menu, and the dishes are all delicious and of good quality. But above all, I want to mention the gentlemen serving us; they made our evening every time. They offered excellent wine recommendations, were friendly, and were never too pushy. If you stay at the hotel, be sure to take a walk around the abbey and the nature reserve behind it.

20/07/2025: A charming location, clean rooms, a varied and plentiful breakfast, and helpful waitstaff worthy of a 4-star hotel. The pool is nestled in the Corpo di Cava mountains. I was particularly impressed by the kindness and attentiveness of the pool attendant, Francesco.

14/04/2025: Hicieron el queso mozzarella esa mañana, ¡y nunca he tenido algo mejor! La comida era fresca y tan deliciosa, que tuve los mejores tomates de mi vida! Tengo el pescado del día y mi marido tiene una pasta con salsa de carne. Ambos eran perfectos! Sus recomendaciones de vinos también estaban presentes, y las vistas eran absolutamente impresionantes. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente!

03/08/2025: Il miglior ristorante di Positano, cucina ottima, tutti i piatti che abbiamo preso sono stati buonissimi e gli ingredienti sono di altissima qualità, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per trovarci a Positano, il tutto è incorniciato da una vista splendida sul mare e un’atmosfera unica. Un piacere aver scoperto questo ristorante nel quale ritornerò sicuramente.

25/08/2025: Worth all the hype and a real highlight of our trip. I would recommend this to anyone. Despite the fact that almost everyone in the restaurant was a tourist, it still felt like we had all stumbled upon a kind of secret adventure. No part of the experience felt slick or corporate or “touristy”. The staff are friendly and expressive, running up and down the stone steps in bare feet with plates groaning with beautiful food. The prices and specials are still scrawled on a chalk board. There are several cats roaming around who our waiter knew by name. There were as many Italian voices as there were international ones, and people were recognising each other and catching up. Ride the cute boat, eat the delicious food, relax on the private beach, soak up the atmosphere. You won’t regret it! Top tips: book online before you go, and bring a parasol for the beach if you’re sensitive to the sun. There’s no natural shade and it faces the south.

24/08/2025: We had a fabulous time at Da Adolfo! All the negative reviews here are a disgrace and must come from people who haven’t done their research on the schedule of the boat, the prices for the beach, or how to book a table. We booked our table 10 days before traveling to Positano with no issues at all. We requested a table for lunch, two sunchairs and a parasol for the day which were set up as we requested. When we got to the beach, we went up to the bar and ordered some coffee. They’ve just opened up so we had to wait a couple of minutes for the machine to heat up, but were served excellent cappuccini! Our lunch was superb! Excellent! It literally made me shed a tear of joy. We had Tuna Carpaccio, Parmigiana and Aglio e Olio. The pasta was al dente and had a really nice balance between the garlic, herbs and olive oil. The parmigiana was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life - I actually felt sad I didn’t get a portion for myself but had to munch up the leftovers of my girl. When we asked for a dessert recommendation, they suggested we order the lemon tiramisu and boy o boy… The following account actually happened)… After we finished the main course, the sun hid itself behind the clouds and some raindrops fell through the fabric above us. But when the waiter brought out the lemon tiramisu and the very first bite touched my gums, the sun came out again. It was the most delightful dessert we’ve had on our trip to Italy this year, and it felt like god himself was lighting up the sky from above and within. The flavors of this tiramisu captured to essence of Campania. Bite by bite we were lured more and more into la dolce vita and tipped our hat to the chef and his staff. WOW! What a food experience. If you are going to Positano, book a table in advance. There is also a way of booking a table without calling… (research goes a long way 😉) Don’t go to the pier and ask for a free ride as they won’t take you there without a reservation. Also: If you want to show some respect to the workers at the bar, learn the most basic words and phrases in Italian. This goes a very very long way and will make your overall experience so much more pleasurable. Don’t be a stereotypical American or German tourist by expecting them to speak your language. Even if they do… you’re a guest in their country and at their restaurant. Have some dignity, respect and you will be treated with such! 11/10 recommendation! Would and will come again.
