10/08/2026: Last night, I was searching for a place to eat and quickly realized that many restaurants in the area were already closing for the evening. Fortunately, the wonderful team at Ottomano welcomed me and a friend with genuine kindness and made sure we could still enjoy dinner. And what a dinner it was. The seafood pasta was easily one of the best I have ever had. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the seafood incredibly fresh, and every bite was full of flavor. What made the experience truly special, however, was the warmth of the team. A special thank you to the younger waitress for her friendliness and attentiveness. I was also touched by the kindness of the team's family at a nearby table, who noticed me and my friend were stressed when entering the restaurant and generously offered us their pasta (same order) so we could eat quickly after arriving while the kitchen originally had a bit of a waiting time. The combination of exceptional food and genuine hospitality is what makes Italy so special. Ottomano gave me not only a fantastic meal but also a memorable experience that I will remember for a long time. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Spiaggia dei Maronti.

02/07/2026: We arrived at the hotel for 9 days, 6 of us, two families. The travel agency only managed to book 2 3-bed rooms for us, but we indicated when booking that 2 rooms were a scam, one for 4 and one for 2, so we would like a room. In 3 months, there was no feedback that they could not solve this, and on site they said that they did not have a 4-bed room :( we asked that we could at least get a mattress, let us sleep on the floor. If there is nothing else, just let the family be together. They did not help us in any way :( finally we went to the neighboring town, bought a single inflatable mattress and the family could be together. Apart from the first conflict, it is a very cozy place, it is family-run, it shows in everything. The staff is very friendly, kind (even the cleaners, which is not typical in a large hotel). The service could only be booked with breakfast, which was very varied and delicious. In the evenings we often had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The menu, although I did not have a lot of choice, but what we tasted was very delicious and tasty. The rooms are well equipped, not particularly modern, but practical. The rooftop pool and the panorama of the rooms are magnificent. They did not take the closing time of the pool too seriously, if we stayed a little longer in the evening and it was absolutely fine. There is a separate bar by the pool, it is worth eating and drinking there. The owners are present in everyday life, they are kind, attentive and you can feel this throughout the hotel. The location of the hotel is a little different from usual. There is nothing nearby. You have to take a bus for everything, but the bus schedule is quite good, you can go anywhere with a 2 euro ticket per person. The sea was the most missing thing, it is almost impossible to find it without a car and with small children. Steep shores, secluded streets. Once we managed to find a beach in 9 days, it was also crowded, but the hotel pool is clean, tidy, the water is a good temperature, this made up for it. Such a wonderful panorama and sunset are rare in places, we couldn't get enough of it. Overall, after the chaos of the first day, we loved being there. I still don't know if there really are no 4-bed rooms or if they just didn't want to solve it. (There were more than one family of 4 at the hotel, but we didn't ask them how they slept) In our place, instead of a comfortable mattress/bed, our main slept on a tent mattress every night, but apart from that, everything was fine.

12/08/2026: The place has a beautiful view, but it's extremely expensive for the poor service. The sun loungers are all old, the bathroom is very bad, and the beer is warm.

11/08/2026: I loved this place. It's less crowded than I expected, allowing you to swim while admiring the beautiful seabed. There's also an affordable bar and restaurant that I highly recommend.

23/07/2026: Always a friendly and welcoming place. At lunchtime, you can enjoy light meals for a work break, and in the evening, you can choose from a wide selection of wines selected by expert Attilio. The lights are low and the atmosphere is informal.

03/07/2026: We had high expectations based on the reviews and were very disappointed. The wine was excellent but the food very mediocre. Steak was overcooked, no side dishes in evidence anywhere, tinned anchovies as a starter. Best suited for a drink from extensive wine selection rather than the food.

17/05/2026: The pizza is very delicious and the choices of pizzas available are overwhelming. Many different tastes and all very creative. The ingredient are really fresh and the pizza extremely well cooked. We took the Contadina and the DOC. The contadina: the artichoke cream was incredibly tasty and the pairing with the speck absolutely fantastic. Taste is very well balanced with tendency to salty (because of the speck). The DOC: is a margherita with the buffalo mozzarella. Both, mozzarella and tomato paste were extremely tasty and fresh. The add on of a very small buffalo mozzarella in the middle of every pizza is a really nice touch. The dough is very well done and easy to digest.

11/08/2026: We went for a family birthday, 8 adults and 3 children. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were very kind and attentive, and the service was fast. The food was delicious, including the gluten-free sandwiches, which were truly delicious. They even offered us a bottle of sparkling wine at the end. Now that's hospitality!

08/05/2026: Lovely spot at the grande marina; worth the walk down and back up again. I choose the pasta of the day: handmade crab ravioli. I think it was the best and most interesting ravioli I have ever had; 5 stars!

06/05/2026: What a wonderful place. 7 night stay in Marina Grande and we ate here 3 times. Great food, beautifully prepared fish dishes. Crab ravioli, sea bass au gratin. Red snapper, and the fried fish fish, just too much to eat. Staff were top of the game. Not over priced. The setting watching the sun go down is just wonderful. And a big shout out to Nina who really did look after us. If I say 97 then hopefully she will remember us. Ice cold Limoncello to finish, simply the best. Don't walk past, you will miss an absolute gem Andy & Sue

11/06/2026: We stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights with our two daughters. It was fantastic, the staff incredibly friendly, and Marco took such good care of us. We would love to come back again.

01/05/2026: Unfortunately, the review mechanism... for those who believe in it... often triggers unpleasant situations. It's not fair not to recommend a place based solely on your own personal experience, perhaps even just once. Judgments about food service and staff described as awful!!! Terrible... often... are also the customers who, just because they are, arrogate to themselves the right to verbally attack the staff... who work hard, sacrificing holidays just to be able to work. Thaddeus is a place... today... where excellent value reigns... where helpfulness and courtesy reign supreme... where the food is delicious and of excellent quality. They work every day on a double shift. It's closed only on Monday evenings. It's a clean and well-kept place. Take a look around and then we'll talk about terrible places and owners. Ah... about the LONG WAIT... obviously preparing everything freshly with 50/60 seats... does add a bit to the wait. But it's preferable not to pre-cook burgers... or pasta... let alone pre-cook. But customers don't understand this... few are aware that it's better to wait an extra half hour and enjoy a great dish! And then I saw the owners cooking... serving tables... and clearing away! And that's not for everyone. The bathrooms are always clean and welcoming, even in the decor. The food... I repeat... nothing to complain about, from the appetizers to the desserts, which they prepare with top-notch ingredients and big brands. Go Thaddeus, keep it up, you're a FORCE!!!!! Oh, I forgot... I read about some vegans who complained 😂 Aside from the fact that they have Vegan Style, there are also salads, grilled vegetables, and various side dishes... Realize that you're entering a pub, a grill house, and a trattoria... where there's a wide selection for all tastes.

02/05/2026: My partner and I have become regulars here, and it's a testament to our success every time. Besides the consistently excellent food, what really makes this place special is the atmosphere: welcoming, attentive, and always making us feel at home. It's become a true favorite for us, where we happily return time and time again.

13/04/2026: A very charming historic pub located in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood of Naples. Truly unique sandwiches filled with top-quality ingredients. Wide selection of beers, very popular. The only drawback is the parking, which, given its location, is difficult to find.

27/07/2026: While staying in Sorrento, my husband and I came across The Horse Shoe, and it became our favorite place to go! The bartenders were extremely friendly and inviting, and always willing to play along with our antics (after a few Guinness of course). During one of our visits, we were lucky enough to catch a spot at the bar before a World Cup game, and the place got packed quickly. We met some amazing people (from Ireland no less), and loved the energy everyone brought. This is a fantastic pub with seating inside and out, and great service. We ended up going back every night, and were honestly bummed to leave it behind. If you're in Sorrento and looking for a laid back but fun spot to have a few cocktails and some fun, The Horse Shoe is IT! Great people and energy on both sides of the bar!

11/05/2026: How can this restaurant post Michelin 2024, 2025 on their front and served such horrible food ? Though the finely staged and choreographed service was excellent, we had a terrible seafood dinner on a cold (11C) airy night (inside the restaurant with opened front door by the seaside) 2 weeks ago. Not recommended in wasting your hard earned money there.

09/05/2026: We had such an amazing meal at Soul & Fish! The servers were very kind and knowledgeable about the wine and food. We ordered the ceviche, seafood risotto, lobster ravioli, and sautéed broad beans and peas. Each dish was unique, fresh, and beautifully presented.
