08/11/2024: Last Saturday I went to this restaurant with my friend for dinner, and we were thrilled! The environment is simple but clean and still welcoming; the staff is very friendly and recommended some dishes to us. The vegetable borsch, the ravioli stuffed with potatoes with mushrooms, the potato pancakes with smetana (sour cream), but most of all I liked the ravioli stuffed with scottona were very good. The honey cake is also very delicious. When I return to Naples to visit my friend, we will definitely return to this restaurant to try new dishes!

08/11/2024: I went to Svago dei Cossacchi with a friend a few days ago and we were enchanted. A stone's throw from Piazza Carlo III, the place is simple but full of atmosphere, joy and music. The food is delicious, cooked perfectly and beautifully presented in traditional Ukrainian dishes, obviously the ingredients are from here, all very fresh. The borsch is a delight and the ravioli really delicious. The friendly and competent staff were kind and professional, and gave us good advice. I saw a fabulous choice of vodkas. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I can't wait to repeat it. We will return as soon as possible.

25/08/2024: So unbelievably disappointed in this I have no idea how they got a Michelin. Do not got go here under these pretences. My husband loves italian food and had never done Michelin so I proudly booked this place. I've never been so disappointed by a place! £500 later!!! Ive never had more bland overpriced food. Don't get me wrong the ambience, wine and service were good. The food underwhelms this place so much they should be ashamed to be be called Michelin or charge £500 for a couple! Not to mention we had no table cloth and after terrible food weren't even offered a coffee!! Please don't go and waste very hard earned money.

Ottimo antipasto molto vario...per non parlare dei primi piatti eccellenti...cottura della pasta eccellente. Il servizio buono...il cameriere molto attento alle nostre esigenze molto cordiale. 14/10/2024: Eccellente in tutti i campi. Dall'accoglienza, alla gentilezza, alla professionalità, all'uso di materie prime di ottima qualità e freschezza. Lo Chef Raffaele, coadiuvato dal suo staff produce poesie edibili. Sapori delicati ma anche decisi. Piatti gourmet che nella presentazione sembrano quadri. Lo staff di sala, gentile e disponibile, diretto da Salvatore, sembra danzare tra i tavoli. Presente ma non invadente. La cucina e la sala pare un'orchestra, diretta magistralmente dalla Signora Concetta, sempre disponibile e gentile. Complimenti a tutti. Voi regalate emozioni. Bravi

29/08/2024: The starters were delicious, but the second course was very salty. And the pessimistic attention, if you are Latino, don't come near this place. Unfortunately, Hispanics are treated poorly and there is a lot of discrimination.

19/08/2024: We (four adults and two children) had lunch in Ristorante Amici Miei. It was a calm day in the restaurant, so we immediately got a table. This family run restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a friendly atmosphere. To my taste the interior was a bit too dark though. We ordered some antipasti as a starter, a mix of vegetables, charcuterie and fish. The antipasti were good, but to be honest, we've had better elsewhere. And sadly the spumante had been open too long, so the bubbles were mostly gone. I should have sent the glass back. As a main course we ordered the pasta combination of the chef. The pasta was nice and the portion was more than enough to share between six people. I have to mention the home made bread with bacon and broccoli, which was really outstanding. Could have eaten the bread all by myself. After the meal we got offered some merengue on the house.

31/07/2024: I almost do not want to review this restaurant as I want to keep it all to myself, what an amazing hidden gem! So unassuming from the outside that you might walk past it without noticing its there. We stumbled upon it and we are so glad we did. My partner has Italian family and had been visiting Italy for many years, eating out often and having plenty of home cooked food. He said this was the best meal he has ever had out in Italy! It was wonderful and the staff were so warm and friendly. I whole heartedly recommend. We started with bread and cheese and meats (the balsamic vinegar was the best I have ever had) followed by a pasta course, we skipped meat as we were full but really wanted desert opting for tiramisu and lemon pie both excellent. Very very reasonable prices I would have paid double. Grazie di cuore a tutto lo staff di Amici Miei. Ricorderemo a lungo la vostra ospitalità e l'ottimo cibo. Torneremo a trovarvi quando torneremo a Napoli.

20/08/2024: Pub ipercollaudato, il Flannery offre sempre cordialità, gusto e una accogliente atmosfera da pub irlandese. Cibo ottimo, prezzi nella media dei pub di pari livello. Ampia scelta tra birre alla spina ed in bottiglia. Possibilità di vedere partite di calcio e parcheggio convenzionato.

30/07/2024: Great place to chat and be with friends... Irish beers so nothing else needs to be said... the food was excellent, I didn't give 5 stars because at my table one of us happened to have the sandwich put too high oiled plate (a practice that I hate, as for me the sandwich should be plated but without fat which can make the bread take on strange flavors and smells).

29/10/2024: Rustic and very welcoming place. with outdoor terrace under the pergola..very kind staff....excellent and original starters...exquisite first courses including pasta and potatoes and Genoese...excellent grilled meat...large and free parking to return

03/12/2024: The food is tasty! Unfortunately, some of the shells of the seafood pasta were still closed (and therefore not good). We sat outside on the terrace, where it is apparently unfortunately customary to smoke in Italy. It was summer, so many ate outside. We can no longer imagine that smoking would still be allowed at the table in a restaurant, even if this is outside. This greatly spoils the appetite! This is where they lose 2 stars for us...

30/07/2024: Every July 29th, my wife and I celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Caruso restaurant of the Grand Hotel Vesuvio, a place that has become an unmissable tradition for us. Describing the location is difficult except through photos which capture the magic of this wonderful place, directly overlooking the Castel dell'Ovo, one of the most fascinating places in Naples. The view is simply breathtaking and helps make the experience even more special. The location is modern, warm and elegantly furnished. However, what made this dinner truly special was the menu created by the new starred chef, who collaborates with the restaurant's historic chef. The dishes, already excellent, were further improved, and each course was able to surprise us with refined flavors and new combinations. We started the evening with a Franciacorta aperitif, followed by a Cervaro della Sala Chardonnay wine. As appetizers, we enjoyed a raw prawn, squid and potato dish, and a revisited Caprese salad. The lemon and sea urchin gnocchi were a sublime first course, while the crusted sea bream for two was the perfect choice for the second course. Between one course and another, the chef delighted us with small culinary surprises that added a touch of magic to the evening. Particular praise goes to the impeccable service of Salvatore and all his staff. They were attentive to our every need, ensuring our glass was never empty and the table was always clean. The timing in serving the dishes was perfect, allowing us to enjoy each course without rushing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I will certainly continue to repeat over the years with my wife. The surrounding environment and the other customers also contributed to creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, completing an unforgettable evening.

29/07/2024: Ogni 29 luglio, io e mia moglie celebriamo il nostro anniversario di matrimonio al ristorante Caruso del Grand Hotel Vesuvio, un luogo che è diventato per noi una tradizione irrinunciabile. Descrivere la location è difficile se non attraverso le foto che catturano la magia di questo posto meraviglioso, affacciato direttamente sul Castel dell’Ovo, uno dei luoghi più affascinanti di Napoli. La vista è semplicemente mozzafiato e contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più speciale. La location è moderna, calda ed elegantemente arredata. Tuttavia, ciò che ha reso davvero speciale questa cena è stato il menu creato dal nuovo chef stellato, che collabora con lo storico chef del ristorante. I piatti, già eccellenti, sono stati ulteriormente migliorati, e ogni portata ha saputo sorprenderci con sapori raffinati e abbinamenti inediti. Abbiamo iniziato la serata con un aperitivo Franciacorta, seguito da un vino Chardonnay Cervaro della Sala. Come antipasti, abbiamo gustato un crudo di gamberi, totani e patate, e una insalata caprese rivisitata. Gli gnocchi al limone e ricci sono stati un primo piatto sublime, mentre l’orata in crosta per due è stata la scelta perfetta per il secondo. Tra una portata e l’altra, lo chef ci ha deliziato con piccole sorprese culinarie che hanno aggiunto un tocco di magia alla serata. Un plauso particolare va al servizio impeccabile di Salvatore e tutto il suo staff. Sono stati attenti a ogni nostra esigenza, garantendo che il nostro bicchiere non fosse mai vuoto e che il tavolo fosse sempre pulito. Il tempismo nel servire i piatti è stato perfetto, permettendoci di gustare ogni portata senza fretta. In generale, è stata un’esperienza meravigliosa che sicuramente continuerò a ripetere negli anni con mia moglie. Anche l’ambiente circostante e gli altri clienti hanno contribuito a creare un’atmosfera piacevole e rilassata, completando una serata indimenticabile.

24/10/2024: Had a great solo meal here. They have a separate gluten free menu, and when I ordered from it, the wait staff immediately offered me GF bread. Pumpkin, shrimp and almond risotto was amazing! It was a beautiful setting in a garden in the middle of Sorrento. Nice local wines by the glass, too.

30/07/2024: A very nice small hotel, beautifully situated on a hill, with a magnificent view on the valley and the little castle close by. Rooms are clean and tidy. Remi and his family bring the best service, attending to your every need. Enjoy the quiet, cool garden to read your book, catch up with work or have a cold Aosta wine sitting at the table under the old Kiwi-tree. If hiking is your thing, make sure you ask Remi for the best possible hikes and places to go. You cannot choose your dinner, but the hotel brings a nice three course meal every evening, asking you in the morning about your possible preferences. We certainly will be back!

27/07/2024: I would have loved to stay in this beautiful hotel, but I was dissatisfied with how we were treated on the phone just for asking for information... a real shame! Answer: I checked many times before dialing your number and I'm 100% sure that was it... for me but I think for other people too kindness is the basis of everything... I'm sorry about how things went.

08/08/2024: We eat discreetly, the invention of the fountains is certainly a good marketing idea, but it's nice to put the fountain in the center and eat together. Very nice and well made interior, good prices

14/08/2024: Lovely location next to beach in marina. Note that it only does seafood - which is very tasteful.

13/08/2024: Lovely beach to spend the day. Felt luxurious and the sea was divine. Excellent to be able to change etc in the changing rooms.
