I'd already tried this fantastic cuisine, but I wanted to bring some friends to try these unique flavors. Just steps from Milan's Chinatown—hence the limited parking—we're right in the city center, so you can enjoy a top-notch food and wine experience. Biniam, the very friendly owner, guides you with warmth and professionalism through the dishes on a simple, typical, and traditional menu. There's no shortage of good South African wines (just be careful with the alcohol content!), so we ordered one. It was very good, even if it was a bit stale, but it was delicious. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, with its traditional metropolitan style (as you can see from the photos), is the work of an Eritrean artist who is a friend of the owner. It might be a bit spicy for some palates, but I liked it. Service is quick, and there's a small room inside for those who want to organize group dinners. We'll definitely be back. We recommend booking, even though tables fill up quickly.

The space was a bit cramped, especially for a very busy clientele.

04/01/2026: The soups are top-notch, and you absolutely have to try them.
Top service, although the wait for the food is a bit long, but overall, I highly recommend it. Each dish is served with a loaf of bread made with excellent pizza dough. The Illy coffee is delicious.
31/12/2025: I got a takeout pizza to try a new place in the area, since I'm not a local, and there are better options for my tastes.

21/09/2025: Clean, simple, and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is more than friendly. The food is fantastic, with plenty of variety and some interesting options (like the sweet drinks and fried bananas).

21/10/2025: I had booked a table for this Thursday, October 9th, and... the restaurant was closed. It showed it was open on Google, and in fact, I was able to reserve a table directly from Maps. There was no notice outside the restaurant. It's a shame because I went there specifically; they should update the opening days and hours to avoid these inconveniences.
30/08/2025: Excellent food, but the outdoor tables should be removed. The area (Milan Central) is dirty and polluted, and not suitable for outdoor dining...
Excellent value for money! RECOMMENDED!

16/10/2025: As I have been going to so many Eritrean restaurants in Europe I can just tell you is was bad the 2 tipsi that we ordered was so bad that we could not eat it after all.,we told them the meat was was rotten we can smell it and the orner (I think he's name is Biniam . Not sure but with out say sorry or be nice to us he went inside and bought us linse. Like we are beggers I paid 35 for nothing.. But money was not my problem I was wondering if he would do the same act to European. Look at the Google rezension how many Africans wrote it was good?? becouse were I'm from you say sorry change the meat or going with out paying.. I just can say God help this man.. Aman
