Agriturismo Il Carro Menu Agriturismo Il Carro was founded in 2004, in the hills of Loreto Aprutino. After a childhood spent in the kitchen, Gianfranco and Patrizia decided to breathe new life into the old family home, where Gianfranco grew up and lived throughout his youth. The agriturismo is completely immersed in greenery, far from traffic, and offers its guests traditional Abruzzo cuisine, with dishes that reflect time-honored traditions. The raw materials used in their dishes are the fruit of hard work in the countryside, sourced from their family farm and small local businesses.

26/10/2025: The staff is friendly and helpful, and the pizzas are generously topped and not too heavy to fill you up with the first bite. Excellent; my family and I go there often.

12/06/2025: Neighborhood bar atmosphere, small but cozy. Clean, the girl at the counter kind and smiling. I used it a few times during my short visit to L'Aquila, and I tried: coffee; cappuccino; donut; ginseng. All good. And then when you find a painting by Magnotta on the wall, you can't help but appreciate the place!
