31/05/2024: This is not the Mediterraneo now, it's changed name and owners. It's now la fortezza. Building hasn't changed so the restaurant is still a gorgeous setting. The owner? /waiter was friendly and helpful. There was a group of 5 of us and 4 decided to have the tourist menu. To start was brucchetta which was slightly burnt toast one with a slice of tomato and the other a piece of prosciutto, not the most elegant dish we'd seen. Next came the pasta dish, 4 had the ravioli which I was told very nice but lacked any oil/sauce on the dish. The fifth member of our group just had the seafood risotto which was OK but the rice was slightly undercooked and needed a bit of seasoning. The meat course came next and seemed to go well. The meat was well cooked and seasoned. The set meal including wine, water and coffee was €25 a head, there are cheaper places around but I think because the restaurant is so lovely inside they are aiming at a more up market clientele. It was quite busy but The service was quite slow but it's only been open a couple of months, hoping it continues to improve so it stays open. Tornareccio is a great village with plenty of amenities and a restaurant was the only thing missing.

16/08/2023: Personale veramente maleducato!!!!Dopo circa 2 ore di attesa sentirsi rispondere anche in modo maleducato dal personale di sale è veramente indegno!!!Non lo consiglio a nessuno,ci sono posti dove mangiare meglio ed essere servito in modo dignitoso!

16/08/2023: Serata a tema ..."Astice sotto le stelle " Menu più che soddisfacente Antipasto ...risotto al nero di seppia,linguine all'astice ...e fritturina ... Tutto delizioso Frutta ...crostata e oltre..... Coccolati da tutto lo staff...molto attento e disponibile . Il grande chef ...Tony ...unico ... Ma bravi tutti . Un grazie alla signora del prosecco e il dolce per la colazione. Filly e Massimo

09/02/2024: Today the stars returned high after days in which one was already too many. I stop very often and possibly always and only if I find the Medea. Smiling, kind, helpful and quick. At six in the morning the bar is already open and it seems like midday. She was away for a few days and the difference was visible. It would have been better if the owner had closed for holidays. The place always opened very late, everything was always late and the staff, what can I say, spread a pitiful veil. Fortuna Medea has returned and the sun is shining again and the stars are rising again. Good staff makes the difference.
