09/04/2025: La pizza più buona di Lanciano e dintorni. La location è rimasta la stessa come gli amabili proprietari. Vi consiglio le pizze piccole da assaggiare in tutte le varianti e non possono mancare i supplì fatti a mano. Prezzi ancora umani e qualità eccelsa. L'ultimo baluardo culinario frentano se siete in zona dovete per forza provarlo.

10/03/2025: The pizza is medium in size, almost like a baby pizza, yet tall! Good, you can feel that the dough is well made. No digestive problems. It is a place without too many pretensions, the furnishings are still from the 80s, yet welcoming. Great for spending a quiet evening. The price clearly reflects the context, exactly in line with the offer. What can I say, the pizza is discreet, all substance. I recommend it.

05/07/2025: Wir haben hier 1x übernachtet auf einer langen Wanderung und das Nachtessen eingenommen. Zimmer und Badezimmer waren gross und sauber. Das Nachtessen war fein. Das Frühstück war sehr mager, für Wanderer ungenügend. Bei der Abreise wollte man uns EUR 80 verlangen statt wie abgemacht EUR 70 für das Zimmer. Ricevuta fiscale gab es keine.

27/06/2025: Delusione totale, senza menù senza listino prezzi, abbiamo ordinato a fiducia e ci siamo trovati malissimo. 2 antipasti, una tagliata, un arrosto misto e mezzo composto da 1 salsiccia e 4 pezzi di ovino, 2 moretti 66. Abbiamo pagato la bellezza do 90 euro senza scontrino. Incredibilmente mediocre e caro, allo stesso prezzo mangio il pesce e anche bene. A mai più. Ci sono tanti posti migliori attorno.

16/08/2025: Everything is amazing at Il Gatto e La Volpe! A gem of Francavilla that we are lucky to have. Beautiful location, great service and of course delicious food - especially the arrosticini and polenta sticks. Also a great local wine selection. Allora vai!!

15/07/2025: I stopped for lunch, 97 degrees outside, ready to enjoy a quiet meal with my dog (mini, in his carrier). On Google, the business clearly states "we accept dogs." Too bad, as soon as I entered, they rudely and rudely ushered me out. The lady at the entrance? More unpleasant than the heat outside. Zero welcome, nonexistent kindness. Instead of resolving the issue or at least explaining it politely, they chose to hastily kick me out. Conclusion: if you love dogs, and especially if you like being treated like human beings, avoid it. There are many other places where courtesy is still the order of the day (and where you won't be melted like mozzarella in the sun). Rating: 1 star, but only because zero is impossible.

10/04/2025: Politica disonestà e non trasparente del listino maggiorato da fare pagare al turista pollo che ci capirà per caso. Attenti agli scontrini e al ricarico assurdo per il servizio al tavolo. Per quanto mi riguarda non ci metterò più piede. Hanno perso un cliente (residente) per lucrare 2 euro extra di servizio nascosto. Pensa che lungimiranza

18/08/2025: At first, I thought I'd confused Torino di Sangro with Formentera when I was told that for a beach umbrella and two loungers (daily rental) I'd have to pay 40 euros for the whole day and 25 for half a day. We wanted to spend the day at the beach, but we couldn't bring ourselves to spend that amount: in Riccione, I spent 35 euros for better service at a beach club in the center with a pool and all the amenities. I return to the bar for two colas and a coffee cream: 11 euros. We go to lunch: two chitarrine with clams and a fried fish and a water for the modest sum of 47 euros. The service was slow, the dishes were poorly served on plastic plates (if you ask me to pay 15 euros for a pasta dish, I expect at least a normal dish), and the chitarrine were nothing special. Finally, I had to ask for the bread myself. Now, if they're asking these prices, I expect service worthy of the Riviera Romagnola: umbrella service, a restaurant with ceramic tablecloths and furnishings, and a modern layout. Something I haven't even seen here from afar! The owners should rethink their offerings and realize that Torino di Sangro isn't in the Balearic Islands!!!

27/08/2025: The Ghost of the Captain and the Beast never disappoints: 1) Impossible to receive an affirmative response to 51.9% of the requests sent; 2) Unable to receive the correct products ordered with a probability of 17.4%; 3) Unable to pay the correct bill or not pay it at least twice within a couple of hours 73.2% of the time. [Clearly one more star for the scams repeated to Saverio Vetoio and my miserable person (I enjoy it)]

21/08/2025: We had lunch at this fraschetta and had one of the best carbonaras we've ever tasted. For our second course, we had arrosticini, which were also delicious. My compliments for the quality of the cuisine, simple yet delicious.

18/08/2025: We had lunch at this trattoria on August 16th. The friendly owner welcomed us and sat us down at a table, even though we hadn't booked. The place is cozy, like a typical Roman trattoria, with a blackboard listing all the day's specials. We ordered two first courses, two side dishes, eight arrosticini, and a dessert. The food was good, but the final bill was a surprise. The owner wrote down the total on a piece of paper, apologizing for not having ordered receipt pads and for the fact that the POS wasn't working because he'd had no internet the day before. Honestly, I thought it was a good excuse. I definitely won't be returning due to the lack of transparency and the fact that they took undeclared payments, with prices significantly higher than those listed on the blackboard.

25/08/2025: It was pouring with rain when we went in, dog included. We didn't know what the place had to offer, and to be honest, it wasn't exactly obvious at first glance. That's because it's unlike other businesses. However, the aroma of the products on display won out. Exceptional pastries, made with quality ingredients and very tasty. Speaking with the owner, we learned they also serve first courses for lunch and sell egg pasta: fettuccine, ravioli, etc. The space is decorated with local furnishings.
