25/04/2026: We waited 1h30 they didn’t served us the main course . No explanation from the service just like « sorry ». The tuna tartare wasn’t even fresh . Waiting 1h30 in half empty restaurant with waiters not even doing something is scandalous. Expensive for no reason I don’t recommend at all it’s totally disrespectful for a « « fancy » » place.

02/05/2026: The atmosphere makes you feel at home, with very friendly and helpful staff. We were treated very well. Highly recommended for the excellent food and the hospitality for a family with three children (a rare commodity these days).
If you're in the area like we were, it's a must-try.

26/04/2026: Excellent trattoria in the village, a pleasant stroll after lunch, and a must-see inside the church.
The owners and passionate chefs ate nervetti, vignarola, beef, port, ricotta with garlic flower, and desserts... everything was carefully explained and prepared. You can taste the passion for cooking, and it alone is worth the trip.
Praise for the availability of vegetarian options.
Coffee made with a moka pot and a fair price.

Exciting cuisine, impeccable service, and a breathtaking location: *La Parolina* is much more than a restaurant; it's a sensory journey through flavors, aromas, and creativity.
Each dish is meticulously crafted, using excellent local ingredients reinterpreted with elegance and technique. The tasting menu is a crescendo of surprises, balance, and authentic passion.
The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and present, yet never intrusive. The dining room exudes warmth and refinement, with a view that makes the experience even more memorable.
A well-deserved Michelin star, but after this dinner, it's at least three. Kudos to Iside and her team!

17/05/2026: This is a Michelin-starred restaurant, but it hasn't received a star yet, so definitely go. Everything was excellent, really, nothing to complain about.
15/05/2026: Listed by Michelin, it deserves its star for the subtlety and finesse of its cuisine, the quality of Débora's welcome, and her expert advice on local wines, including the famous Est! Est!! Est!!! from Montefiasco.

04/06/2026: A truly enchanting venue, carved into the rock and enriched by charming cellars that create a romantic, elegant atmosphere, with meticulous attention to detail.
We were welcomed by the owner, an extremely professional, helpful, and passionate person, capable of making guests feel immediately at ease. The service was impeccable: attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt, always discreet.
The quality of the ingredients is evident in every course. The appetizers, featuring select, excellent-quality cured meats, accompanied by flavorful, expertly prepared crostini, were a wonderful start. The tagliata al tartufo was extraordinary: tender meat, cooked perfectly rare and literally melting in the mouth, enhanced by the intense aroma of truffle.
The desserts also confirmed the high quality of the cuisine: the chocolate cake with a warm center, accompanied by delicate vanilla ice cream, was the perfect ending to an excellent dinner.
An experience that combines quality ingredients, attention to detail, professionalism, and a genuine passion for catering. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.
02/06/2026: Dinner in a former peperino quarry. A cool and scenic setting. Dishes made with seasonal ingredients. Everything was excellent, from the fava bean soufflé to the sliced steak with hazelnuts and lard. We'll definitely return.

Wonderful location.
Appetizers were average.
First courses were unrelated.
Pasta with cherry tomatoes, without cherry tomatoes...but with tomato.
The sauce was a ready-made one, so it had a bad flavor.
A real shame.

Discovering this place was a real surprise. I never imagined I'd find the genuine and authentic flavors of Sardinia right here, in a place that from the outside didn't suggest such a profound gastronomic journey.
Everything we tasted was delicious, prepared with ingredients that taste of the land and tradition.
The appetizer deserves special mention.
It was like being transported directly to a Sardinian farmhouse, surrounded by intense aromas and flavors that weren't manipulated to "fit," but served with all their original character.
From the welcome to the quality of the dishes, it was an excellent experience. If you're looking for authentic Sardinian cuisine, this is the place.
The very kind chef even reinterpreted the dishes with a vegetarian twist.
I'll definitely be back!

28/04/2025: Come location per il nostro matrimonio abbiamo scelto Villa San Michele e non potevamo fare scelta migliore. Un posto meraviglioso, adatto sia per eventi all'aperto che interni, curato in ogni minimo dettaglio e centimetro. Il tutto grazie a Lorenzo, padrone di casa, chef e persona davvero eccezionale che ci ha fatto sentire sin da subito come a casa, occupandosi in prima persona di ogni situazione e particolare con la massima accortezza verso di noi e tutti gli invitati. Cucina di altissimo livello, sia nelle pietanze stesse che negli impiattamenti, con menù mai provati prima e che ricorderemo per tutta la vita. Avremo modo di tornarci sicuramente molto presto per altre occasioni. Un ringraziamento particolare anche a Sandra, gestore della sala che si è dedicata completamente a tutto e tutti, allestendo una mise en place ed un servizio davvero impeccabile per tutta la durata dell'evento. E grazie anche ai ragazzi del servizio, di una educazione e di una dedizione esemplare. È stato e rimarrà per sempre il posto dei nostri cuori. Consiglio a tutti.

Il Terziere di Poggio Fiorentino

02/06/2026: Being in the profession, I'd like to say a lot, but I'll limit myself to constructive criticism. Let's start by saying that out of four items chosen, not one matched the menu description: the tartare was supposed to be on a marrow boat, but when it arrived, there was no marrow and it was slathered on cherry tomatoes, lettuce, and carrots, with the meat so cold it seemed freshly defrosted—in short, very sad. Let's move on. After choosing a cockerel alla diavola, which wasn't available, I opted for a tagliata, and that wasn't available either. Then I was offered chicken alla cacciatora, and I accepted, but then I received a roasted leg and thigh that looked like it had been bought at a rotisserie. The last dish was fettuccine with red shrimp and zucchini, perhaps the only one vaguely resembling the menu description, except that the red shrimp were lost, and there were only three defrosted Ecuadorian prawns with three slices of boiled zucchini—a terrible result. Summary: A dinner to forget. My final criticism is the reservation. I requested to dine outside over the phone and was told it was windy and we could decide on the spot. When we arrived, everyone was eating on the veranda, so I requested to dine outside again, but was told it would rain soon (I should point out that there wasn't even a remote risk of rain), so with tables available outside and people dining on the veranda, they forced us to dine inside.
I've been to many restaurants, but this is the first time I've encountered such a lack of professionalism.
23/05/2026: This family run restaurant is wonderful! I ordered a delicious daily special without the meat, no problem. The house wine and a mixed side salad perfect👍 It is convenient for parking with a lot right in front and the park across from that. Eat here!
