Locale che non affaccia sul castello ma sul porticciolo, forse questo risulta meno pubblicizzato rispetto ad altri, in cui abbiamo mangiato molto molto bene, spendendo però un filino troppo. I piatti sono buoni, impiattati in maniera classica, il cocktail di gamberi è una ricetta storica, forse fuori moda, ma qui è buonissimo, tanti gamberi e la salsetta è deliziosa. Le trofie vongole e pistacchi sono fantastiche, i secondi che abbiamo assaggiato sono ben fatti ed il pesce, ovviamente, è freschissimo. Il prezzo non è scandaloso, forse un tantino alto.

We stayed in Calabria for five days and the expectations on the food were obviously high. I must say that Mimmo was definitely the best fish restaurant we found with fresh fish and amazing first courses.

Room with a view of the port, very friendly staff. The quality of the fish is excellent, the owner, Mimmo, is an exquisite person.
Furthermore, and not to be taken for granted, in the bathroom you will find an emergency kit with needle and thread, sanitary pads, scissors and stain remover.
You will fall in love.

The restaurant deserves 5 stars from all points of view. Excellent dishes, friendly staff, very clean, in the bathroom you can also find talcum powder and stain remover (which is quite rare). Congratulations, we will definitely be back.
