11/03/2026: Few dishes but everything was delicious

11/03/2026: Lovely place. A beautiful osteria. Professional and discreet service. They gave us excellent advice on the courses and quantities. The dishes were good and well-presented. The prices were fair.

10/05/2026: Overall, the products were good and typical Sardinian. Good wine and decent porcetto. The dessert was perhaps a bit skimpy. Overall, it was adequate.

01/05/2026: After several attempts in the area we found IL MIRTO open for dinner....excellent welcome and the dishes one better than the other 😃 a real Sardinian dinner....fixed menu from €45 from starters to desserts coffee and digestive (the menu also includes 2 first courses and a drink) really very generous portions 😃..... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

05/06/2026: When you dream of finding that one amazing restaurant while you're visiting Italy... you've found it, it's Taberna Santona. I walked in on a Friday evening not long after they opened. I'd read many great reviews and was nervous that the place would be fully booked, but to my surprise there was a choice of tables both inside and outside. All the staff spoke Italian with me and one server even kindly told me I spoke well, which I really appreciated because it means a lot to hear that from a native speaker. Everyone was pleasant, no one seemed impatient or uncaring. Tourists were treated as kindly as locals. Staff checked in a few times to see how everything was, including the owner (I think) who seemed genuinely pleased to hear that people were enjoying their food. I had the insalata normanna, which was an interesting mix of things i never would've thought to combine in one dish, but it worked very well. I thought the onion was a little overpowering but that was a minor detail. I then had the couscous Carlofortina which was also quite good. Both dishes were light yet still enough to make for a solid meal. Everyone raves about the chocolate cake, rightfully so because it was so good I got a second piece to bring with me. Get it with caramel and whipped cream. I'm not normally a caramel fan but i impulsively said yes when asked if i wanted it. this caramel tasted divine, not like it came from a jar. All the desserts are homemade too. The people seated next to me were talking about how delicious the panna cotta was. Places like these are what you'll remember months and years after your visit, and i hope to be able to come back soon. Grazie mille per tutto 😋🍽🩷

08/03/2026: During a wedding held at your venue with our entertainment company, Girogirando, we had the pleasure of meeting you and understanding how much love and passion you put into your work, how much importance and value you place on your clients... so much so that you make them feel at home... well, we were amazed by all this because it also reflects our values. Having the opportunity to work with so many venues, we can say that, for the attention you give, not only to your clients but also to those who work with you, you are truly special. 26/12/2025: Christmas 2025 for four. We chose the Christmas lunch deal and had a truly wonderful time. From the valet parking, to the service (adequate and attentive), to the food (excellent and plentiful), and even the price (lower than other options), it was more than justified. In short, money well spent!! We'll gladly return.

15/09/2025: I went a few evenings with friends. The food was absolutely local and incredibly plentiful. They offer a variety of dishes with a set menu. Their suckling pig? The best I've had in Alghero. Congratulations!! Friendly service, and I want to say thank you to the gentleman in charge of cooking the suckling pig, who was truly gracious in his welcome. For the presentation of the farm, the tasting, and the conversation, it was much appreciated!

22/05/2026: Great food. Loved the tuna trilogy and shrimp pasta. The calamari is not among the best though. It has a nice setting but some tables have quite limited sitting.

20/05/2026: It is a bit unusual that the reception is on the second floor, but overall the service is excellent. It is very pleasant to be served a glass of Presecco as a welcome drink when you are seated. The food is also quite tasty. However, the diffuser scent inside is a bit strong.

03/06/2026: Just wow! Best pastries and gelato you can imagine. Especially the Cassata was delicious!
