11/12/2025: What a wonderful discovery! The dishes were so well-crafted, we didn't miss the restaurants we'd tried in Japan at all—quite the opposite. The tasting menu is well-balanced and allows you to try multiple dishes on the menu. Highly recommended. Kudos to the lovely owners and staff; we'll definitely be back.

01/12/2025: Aji - Japanese Restaurant offers the incredible privilege of transporting your taste buds directly to the land of the Rising Sun, forgetting for a few hours that you're in the Vicenza area. The passion that the two owners, Francesca and Giulio, convey is evident in every dish. I came here for the first time with my partner for her birthday, and we tried the Wagyu tasting. It was the perfect choice. Every dish we were lucky enough to try truly wowed us. The Ramen, in particular, was sublime, a practically perfect balance of flavors with no one ingredient overpowering the other. To top it all off, I also enjoyed the sake tasting, which, thanks to a coherent and thoughtful pairing, made the experience even more complete and enjoyable. All this was topped off by Francesca's kindness and ever-gracious presence, with whom we even had the opportunity to chat a little after dinner in the shop area, where you can find rare gems of carefully selected Japanese craftsmanship—another sign of the profound passion and respect these two wonderful people have for this incredible country. If you haven't already been, treat yourself and spend an evening at Aji. We had such a great time that by the time we paid, we already booked for next time. 20/01/2026: The restaurant is truly well organized, from reception to service. It features cloth tablecloths and attentive service (perhaps a bit too busy between courses). The baccalà alla Vicentina is certainly well-made, while I found the mantecato a bit heavy (better to share a portion for two). The wine offered, Vespaiolo, tells the story of the area, with grapes that are a delicacy for wasps... The boiled meat is definitely worth trying, even though this tradition is in our DNA in Emilia.

11/12/2025: The location is truly stunning, but the beverage selection isn't up to par. I found the non-alcoholic drinks extremely basic (basically juice or little more), and even the alcoholic ones were too simple and uninspiring for my taste. It's a great place for atmosphere and convenience, especially if you're looking for a place to stay late in Chinatown.

28/02/2026: I stopped by during a business trip. The place is very nice and unpretentious. The dishes are few but delicious. I had the fioretta gnocchi (never tried them before) and the stewed meatballs (two of them, the size of baseballs)... everything was delicious. Highly recommended.

01/03/2026: It was my first time there. The pizza was really good, with a wide variety of toppings. The pizza isn't a cracker, but a nice dough that you can taste in your mouth. We were a large group, and some of our drink orders were wrong, but they were quick and kind to apologize and replace them. I'll definitely try again.
