02/11/2025: Excellent food, truly special, from the raw ingredients to the cooking, to the attention to detail. The service needs to be improved. Two things that really disappoint: the exorbitant price and the portions that are too small. I've been going there regularly for a couple of years, but tonight I've lost the desire to go. €150 for me, my wife, and my daughter. I left the table feeling hungry. What a shame.

09/03/2026: I've been frequenting this establishment for almost fifty years, well before the children of the previous owners were born, but today the welcome is rude and lacks attention to customers. Since there's no shortage of restaurants and trattorias, it won't be difficult at all to close this door...

20/01/2026: A small restaurant in the heart of Bassano, seating is limited, so reservations are required. The daily menu features a limited selection of excellent quality dishes. Quick service and very friendly staff. For a place in the center of Bassano, it offers excellent value.

18/01/2026: A super attentive girl, she was working alone (the place isn't very big) but we were perfectly looked after at all times! The food was delicious. I ordered the pizzoccheri because I love them and they were amazing. And then the charcuterie and cheese board, and everything was also fantastic. We ordered the smallest one because we didn't want to eat too much, and both the cold cuts and the cheese were delicious. It's definitely a highly recommended and pleasant place. They recommended we try the bread with olive oil and Parmesan, and it's addictive!! Forget bread with olive oil and salt!! They have a huge selection of grappas!!!

02/01/2026: The experience at Salernitana met my expectations. It's definitely better than the current average of 4.3 stars. In my opinion, it's the best pizza in the central Bassano area, although perhaps not the most convenient if you want to walk from the center. The pizza isn't the classic bell-shaped pizza with a thick crust, which isn't a criticism or a negative. The dough and ingredients are good quality, and the pizza chef is certainly experienced in the pizza business. I found the atmosphere to be rustic, in a bubble with an '80s vibe. The service is good and fast, although waiting times can be a bit longer at peak times. The only small complaint is the prices, which are slightly higher given the setting. I appreciated that they still have tablecloths; it's one of the few pizzerias in the Bassano area that still uses them. Overall, a great place to enjoy pizza in a relaxed atmosphere.

12/11/2025: Pleasant atmosphere, lovely outdoor garden. However, the food was below expectations. Given the restaurant's caliber and prices, one would expect something more. The cover charge should include homemade bread and artisanal breadsticks. Furthermore, a restaurant in this price range would be expected to offer a welcome appetizer. I wasn't impressed.

18/01/2026: Two hours for a pizza, but let's be clear. We arrived at 8:15 PM, there were 6 of us, they sat us down and shortly after took our orders. At 9:15 PM we stopped a waitress and asked how far they were with our pizzas. We were informed that they were "in the oven." At 10:00 PM the pizzas arrived, but not all of them arrived; 5 out of 6. For the last missing pizza, we had to wait another 15-20 minutes. (CURTAIN) This could have ended there, but at this point it's worth pointing out that one of the pizzas was missing an ingredient, and the last one that arrived, which was clearly made in a hurry because they'd forgotten about it, had a burnt crust and a hole in the center of the dough. Besides the endless wait for six pizzas, and the fact that we couldn't all eat together, what bothered us the most—so much so that we barely even ate the last pizza—was the rudeness of the waitress's responses. She first mocked us, telling us the pizza was in the oven when that clearly wasn't true (45 minutes in the oven for a pizza seems way too long to me), and then, when we complained, tried to downplay them without even caring about the problem. What's certain is that I won't be returning; I didn't even think such treatment was conceivable.

06/01/2026: Truly excellent pizza, light dough, quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The only small flaw is the plates or knives that whistle when cutting the pizza, which is a bit annoying. Detail aside, this pizzeria is absolutely recommended.
