07/07/2026: I went for a business lunch break.
The complete set menu was €14 (first course, second course, side dish, water, and coffee).
Although it doesn't look like the best restaurant from the outside, inside, although small and with tables close together, it has everything you need.
I ate well, and the service was friendly and prompt.
26/04/2026: I had lunch here today and had a great time. Laura is simply fantastic: fast, attentive, and always smiling—the absolute best. The other girl, on the other hand, is more "unpredictable"... let's just say she gets the adrenaline pumping 😄 But it's precisely this mix that makes the atmosphere lively and fun. I'll definitely be back!

17/05/2026: I'm reviving this old review to point out how the rudeness of these people hasn't changed.
It's incredibly chaotic. It's an open-air nightclub with terrible music (if only it were decent!). As for the food, it's a bar like any other, so you won't find anything special. But be aware that if you frequent it, you're giving your money to people who don't deserve it.
31/03/2026: A trendy, well-maintained venue with a spacious basement dining room. High-quality food, very friendly and helpful staff. Recommended for aperitifs, lunch breaks, and, of course, parties.

06/06/2026: The menu is as "old" as the restaurant's name... apathetic waiters. The quality-price ratio... shameful!
03/06/2026: We ate outside, which was beautiful. Right by the water under tall trees. The meals were okay, the staff friendly and helpful, but they often struggled to find the right table. There are very few toilets (indoors), and they aren't great. Otherwise, it was fine.

I thought I'd find a rustic place with quality, home-cooked food, but instead...
I ordered a tortellino (the only positive thing), two steaks, and two mixed vegetables... €50🤯
The menu says €5 for mixed vegetables, they serve three small plates of vegetables soaked in oil, and they charge €4.50 each for three small plates... which doesn't match the menu...
Stale smell, damp tablecloths, and the "waitress/owner/assistant chef/cashier" who serves and comes in and leaves the kitchen with hairs from I don't know what on her shirt...
We won't be able to stomach either the meal or the bill easily.
20/12/2025: We had lunch here for a graduation party and were treated wonderfully and warmly by the hostess. The food was truly high quality, with tortellini clearly handmade with care and passion. Above all, we noticed great attention to detail and a genuine welcome. We will definitely return for similar occasions.

05/04/2026: For years, they've offered an impeccable selection of homemade specialties at a good price-performance ratio. A wide variety of regional products are available. Friendly staff provide helpful tips on preparing pasta dishes and sharing local traditional recipes.

03/07/2026: I ordered a generous amount of croissants a week in advance. On the day of pickup, I showed up and thought they'd give me a small discount as a courtesy. I handed over the money, but I didn't receive any discount. I understand it's not mandatory, but given the quantity, I thought a little bit of a compromise was the minimum. I won't be returning.
31/05/2026: Disappointing experience. The lady was often rude and annoyed, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. For this reason, I won't be returning.

10/06/2026: There is a different place now at this location, called Agrigelateria Corte Vittoria. And it wasn’t open today even though all other shops were.
12/04/2026: The gelato was neither good nor bad. The waffle was large and three scoops of gelato were pretty good, average. I didn't see a list of ingredients inside the shop. My oversight, perhaps. Oh, and a (negligible?) detail: it was overpriced at €7.50. The quality didn't justify it.

24/09/2025: I could taste the suffering in the food.
11/09/2025: The kids' food was okay, the salmon tartare was delicious, but then we sat there for almost two hours and our food just didn't arrive.
The groups were served the whole time, but the other guests were simply ignored.
At first, someone came and took our order, but then no one else. We didn't see anyone else either.

16/03/2026: Everything was excellent!!! I ate penne all'arrabbiata out of curiosity after seeing a negative review, but I have to say it was good. I followed up with an excellent horse steak! I'd already been several times on the recommendation of my friend Tibe from Valeggio.

05/07/2025: Se cerchi un luogo dove accoglienza, quiete e comodità la fanno da padrone allora l'Agriturismo Cà Del Gal è quello che fa per te.
Le proprietarie sono venute incontro alle nostre esigenze sia di orario di arrivo (in tarda serata), sia nell'utilizzo della piscina e della camera.
L'ottima colazione è stata la ciliegina sulla torta del nostro week end. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto provare il ristorante, ma anche in questo sono state molto disponibili a suggerirci ottimi ristoranti dove cenare.
Da tornare!
22/06/2025: 2 giorni in questo agriturismo. Buona ospitalità da parte del personale, pulizia e stanza molto grande (quadrupla) in una zona dependance "incanto" comoda sia per la vicinanza con la struttura principale sia per il parcheggio vicino alla stanza. Bella la piscina dove si può godere di un buon relax. Colazione curata con molte varietà di marmellate fatte da loro! Se devo trovare un difetto direi la non possibilità, in questa stagione, del ristorante in loco che ti costringe a cercare in zona. Mi sarebbe piaciuto provare a rimanere lì un giorno intero senza dovermi muovere con la macchina per pranzo e cena. Agriturismo che consiglio!

29/12/2024: The restaurant from the street does not present itself in an optimal way. Apparently we wouldn't have entered it. But we trusted the reviews and enjoyed an exquisite dinner at an affordable cost. The service was very courteous. Advised. Excellent stew and cod.
29/12/2024: Passing by chance in Valeggio we stopped in this place without a reservation, very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent food as well as value for money... we will definitely be back

12/07/2025: Se cercate un locale accogliente, con una posizione spettacolare, questo è il luogo ideale. Il personale è professionale, veloce e molto simpatico. Il titolare è incredibile, ti fa sentire accolta e coccolata, con un tiramisù spettacolare.
Prezzi più che accessibili, vi consiglio le tagliatelle fresche al ragù...TOP

15/09/2023: Tornati dopo un po' di tempo e dobbiamo dire che il cibo è sempre eccezionale.
Stasera furi menù c'era il luccio con polenta veramente strepitoso.
01/09/2023: Posto molto bello con vista spettacolare sul Mincio e su Borghetto. Abbiamo mangiato su questa bellissima terrazza. Piatti ottimi, curati e abbondanti. Servizio attento e discreto. Sicuramente da consigliare e da tornarci.
