06/08/2024: Well, we only ate here once. Don't be fooled by what employees wear... Black and white does not mean good food. Here you want to show the outside world more than you can. Four of us had dinner here and were the only ones at first. Melon with raw ham, tagliatelle with pesto, raw ham with burrata and salad plate. Well, not really things to go wrong with, but still. Pasta cooked very soft, far from al dente. Burrata unfortunately very firm (overlaid). Mixed salad plate was leaf lettuce with 4 tomato wedges and a few cucumber slices. This, as well as the salad garnishes on the plates, had black lettuce leaves that were not edible. We pointed this out and only received a shake of the head. Well, there are other restaurants.

26/07/2024: boring pizza, zero flavor in sauce, sausage and even the olives has no flavor. crust was good. we paid for seating, but none of the starter stuff other tables got. our kids liked their pizza but they dont like too much flavor anyway

27/08/2024: Spacious room, large bathroom, wonderful view.... Everyone was hospitable and kind. It will definitely be my first choice next year, thank you so much ❤️

26/08/2024: Ate in the lakeside restaurant - staff seemed distracted to say the least - constantly looking around and jumping into other conversations whilst "interacting" with us. Food was very nice when it turned up.

12/07/2024: We felt very comfortable. The room was clean and sufficient for 3 people. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the center. The pool was perfect...there was always a free spot for us. Breakfast could be taken outside and there was a bit of everything. Only the employees at the reception were a bit taciturn... We'd love to come back!

11/08/2024: Here you can drink the best cocktails in Bardolino. Tip top selection. I can only recommend it. Occasionally with live music.

Also very small and tasteless portions when they notice that you are not Italian compared to the same dishes ordered by Italians who sat at the table next to us. Only the pizza from one of our companions was good. Completely not recommended for tourists. Also very expensive coperto compared to other restaurants in the same region (you cannot see in advance only if you have already received the menu on site).

22/06/2024: Prenotato con THE FORK : alla richiesta dello sconto applicato del 10% invece del 20% il personale ha risposto in modo sgarbato! Dicendo se mi doveva offrire la pizza e che lo sconto è del 20% solo sul cibo… con altri commenti… Un appunto: c’è modo e modo di rispondere e la cortesia non è riscontrabile in tutti. Pizza Napoli molto salata… bottiglia di acqua da 0,75 cl 3,90 euro, coperto 2,50 euro. Lascio giudicare a voi i prezzi (ch ecc mi sembrano salati anche quelli… ma magari mi sbagllio!). Non ci tornerò più e tanto meno lo consiglierei. Acceso ventilatore gigante sopra la testa, poi spengo x fortuna (dopo la mia richiesta).

06/05/2024: Premesso che, aldilà delle offerte, il locale in questione è più un bar all’occorrenza tavola calda che pizzeria, "Alla Vecchia Osteria" offre la possibilità di sedersi in piazza Betteloni, grazie alla presenza di numerosi tavolini all’aperto, dove consumare un rapido spuntino. Venendo all’esperienza personale, valide entrambe le proposte provate in compagnia di mia moglie e mia sorella, anche se la bruschetta gorgonzola e speck (8,00 EUR) non si è rivelata all’altezza della piadina stracchino e rucola (6,00 EUR); corretto il prezzo della birra alla spina (5,00 EUR), alto quello del mezzo litro d’acqua (ben 2,50 EUR). Chiudo con il servizio, non all’altezza di una località turistica come Bardolino, farraginoso nel prendere le comande e lentissimo nell’evaderle. Locale valido per uno spuntino senza pretese.

16/08/2024: Die Location ist sehr schön. Das sehr freundliche Personal bedient einen sehr schnell und ist auch zuvorkommend. Das wichtigstes und zwar das Essen ist auch vortrefflich. Somit ist ein Besuch in diesem Restaurant nur zu empfehlen.

16/08/2024: Corte San Giovanni in Bardolino, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired. During my visit, the service was notably inattentive; despite my efforts to place a simple drink order, the staff seemed more engaged with familiar faces than with new guests. This lack of professionalism was disappointing, especially when one expects a warm, welcoming environment. As for the menu, it offers little to distinguish itself from the many other establishments in the area, presenting a rather uninspired selection that lacks any compelling reason to choose this venue over others nearby. Regrettably, based on this experience, Corte San Giovanni does not merit consideration for those seeking a memorable dining experience in Bardolino. Corte San Giovanni in Bardolino lässt leider einiges zu wünschen übrig. Während meines Besuchs war der Service auffallend unaufmerksam; trotz meiner Bemühungen, eine einfache Getränkebestellung aufzugeben, schien das Personal eher mit Stammgästen als mit neuen Gästen beschäftigt zu sein. Diese mangelnde Professionalität war enttäuschend, besonders wenn man eine warme, einladende Atmosphäre erwartet. Was die Speisekarte betrifft, so bietet sie wenig, um sich von den vielen anderen Lokalen in der Gegend abzuheben, mit einer eher uninspirierten Auswahl, die keinen überzeugenden Grund liefert, dieses Lokal anderen in der Nähe vorzuziehen. Bedauerlicherweise verdient Corte San Giovanni aufgrund dieser Erfahrung keine Empfehlung für diejenigen, die ein unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis in Bardolino suchen. Corte San Giovanni a Bardolino purtroppo lascia molto a desiderare. Durante la mia visita, il servizio è stato decisamente disattento; nonostante i miei tentativi di ordinare una semplice bevanda, il personale sembrava più interessato a intrattenersi con i clienti abituali che ad accogliere i nuovi ospiti. Questa mancanza di professionalità è stata deludente, soprattutto quando ci si aspetta un ambiente caldo e accogliente. Per quanto riguarda il menu, offre ben poco per distinguersi dagli altri ristoranti della zona, presentando una selezione piuttosto banale che non offre alcun motivo convincente per scegliere questo locale rispetto ad altri nelle vicinanze. Purtroppo, in base a questa esperienza, Corte San Giovanni non merita considerazione per chi cerca un’esperienza culinaria memorabile a Bardolino.

13/05/2024: Correttamente applicato sconto The fork sui cibi. Ottimo servizio, bella location, anche da aperitivo con locale adiacente. 2 piatti, bottiglia di vino e dolce 37 euro a testa scontato.

09/05/2024: Ein kleines Restaurant abseits des Tourismus. Stylisch eingerichtet. Der Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend und sprach auch englisch. Die Menue Karte gibt es neuerdings auch auf deutsch. ;-) Hier bekommt man die besten Gnocchi der Welt, hausgemacht und seiden-weich. Wir wählten mit Tomatensosse. Hmmmm so gut. Ein Gedicht. Danach gab es Tagliata vom Rind mit kleinem sehr aromatischen Tomatenwürfeln und Balsamico Essig auf den Punkt gebraten mit gegrilltem Gemüse. Die Paprika war gut, Zucchini und Aubergine so LaLa. Dafür hat der Espresso wieder gepunktet. Wir kommen auch im nächsten Jahr wieder. RESERVIEREN geht über die TripAdvisor Plattform, via Telefon oder ganz oldschool vorort.

17/08/2024: Man, it's hard to beat the ignorance and unfriendliness. You sit at the table, the staff comes by several times, no greeting, no nothing. The guest as a necessary evil. After a few minutes of ignorance, we went around the corner to the Garden Café and were greeted warmly and served.
