The welcome is incredibly warm, the staff is fantastic, and the quality of the food is top-notch from start to finish. Everything is perfect, which is exactly why we keep coming back! Highly recommended, especially if you're discerning about flavors.

11/06/2026: Before the change of ownership, the drinks were excellent for years. But this year, the drinks service at Cotton has deteriorated. Just as an example: the bartender mixed my Campari Orange with canned orange soda (!!!) right in front of me, instead of the usual orange juice. The whisky sours for my friends were too small and consisted almost entirely of ice cubes. When I complained, they simply ignored me. Unfortunately, it's become a really bad place :-(

27/09/2025: Perfect location on the lake, with a view of the lake inside and a very elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The food and limoncello are absolutely delicious! Shrimp pasta costs €15.50, pizza €8-15. You can even watch the pizza being prepared live. Upon request, they also offered "make-your-own" coffee, with water and milk separately. Definitely a top recommendation!

12/06/2026: Good all-you-can-eat. Located in the center of Bardolino, next to the little church. Good food, although some portions were a bit too large for my taste. Limited wine selection by the glass.

10/06/2026: I think it's some of the best sushi I've ever eaten! 😍 Strong and unusual flavors, impeccable service, and a wonderful outdoor setting! Highly recommended.

08/07/2026: We went there last night after dinner. We had an Aperol Spritz and a Hefeweizen and paid €21.50. Sorry, but that's outrageous. They do offer a large snack platter, but we were full and politely declined. That's probably why the prices are so high, because you don't get anything for free. We sat against the building in the second row, where the heat was trapped under the umbrellas. Fans like in other places would help. The waiter was very friendly and the drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately, there was way too much ice, so the XXL Aperol Spritz ended up being a normal size.

06/07/2026: On holiday in Bardolino one evening we decided to have dinner at this place... on the lakeside... tables too close to others, they don't enforce the law that, you can smoke outdoors but only if you keep your distance... let's move on to the dishes... I ordered an Italian cutting board for 2 people (€40)... absurd, they bring you a wooden set with 3 stuffed peppers, 1 small bowl of Zola cream, 3 small pieces of parmesan, 2 slices of melon with 3 slices of prosciutto... absurd, at the very least you bring me a whole melon for that price... a cutting board like this in other places you can bring you during an aperitif where you pay only €10... don't get ripped off.

12/05/2026: A snack bar on the way to Cisano di Bardolino, near the tobacconist's on the Gardesana road. For several years, it's been our go-to spot on our stroll between Lazise and Bardolino. Their sandwiches and brioches are excellent. In the winter, we enjoy their herbal teas. They've been under new management for a few months now...

12/08/2026: Food was amazing! There was nine of us and everybody were happy with their dishes! Portions were big. Staff was fast and professional. In general really nice place to eat and drink.

12/08/2026: The food was truly excellent, everything was served very quickly, and the staff spoke several languages. The prices were normal for a holiday region. The only downside was that the staff consistently treated us as if we weren't welcome or as if they were annoyed by everything. There was a fundamental lack of friendliness. Nevertheless, highly recommended!

07/12/2025: The place is more popular in summer than winter. Dinner is available, but the menu is fairly limited. 80s, 90s, and 00s music evenings are very fun. The staff is young and friendly.

23/11/2025: The location certainly has a different charm in the summer, but in winter, honestly, there are some aspects that need revisiting. It was quite cold inside even with the heating on: we weren't the only ones wearing jackets to stay comfortable. The dinner menu was rather sparse, with limited choice and a quality that didn't meet expectations. As a lounge bar, it might be okay, but as a restaurant, it's currently unimpressive. I hope they can improve these aspects, because the location has good potential.

08/09/2025: If there was a little more attention to the customer you would certainly have a higher profit... but unfortunately, as in many places on Lake Garda, there is no customer attention but only the interest in making money.....!!

02/08/2026: It's an agritourism because it produces wine and oil. For dining, it offers cold dishes featuring cured meats, cheeses, and giardiniera (pickled vegetables); the service is a bit slow, but it's not a fast food restaurant. The service is spartan, with no tablecloths and paper napkins; coffee is made with a moka pot. Dogs are welcome. The place is ideal for a stop on the way back from a day at the lake.

06/07/2026: I've lived here for eight years now and wanted to try this place since it's always so hyped by tourists. Please avoid it if you're a tourist. I didn't get a bill and paid €21 for wine, water, bread, and a little sausage. Seriously. Locals go there because they serve honest, decent snacks, but if you're a foreigner, you'll be confronted with exorbitant prices. You don't need to put up with this kind of thing at Lake Garda anymore. It's a real tourist trap. Please ask about the price beforehand. I can get two Margherita pizzas with wine, water, and grappa at the pizzeria just 300 meters away. There are so many honest restaurateurs here who put in so much effort. That's why you should avoid places like this. Just because it seems cheap on the corner and has a touch of typical local charm. I'm very active in Google Feedback. That's why I'm writing this review. Honest feedback.

21/05/2026: We've been going to San Martino regularly for over 10 years. The food and atmosphere were always very good. This time, however, we were disappointed. Even attractive dishes and slate plates couldn't compensate. The main course—grilled squid, about ten pieces the size of walnuts, accompanied by various green, white, and red sauces and a garnish of lamb's lettuce—was meager. €20 for that is outrageous. It was only suitable as an appetizer. A slightly more elaborate salad for €12 was the final straw. The service listened to our dissatisfaction briefly and patiently, without any complaints. As walk-ins, we were waved through... but there will be plenty of customers in the coming days. Fortunately, Bardolino has numerous good restaurant alternatives.

14/05/2026: We were served quickly and had a good table; our order was taken promptly. The appetizers were okay. The vitello tonnato was too dry. The tagliatelle with seafood was good, as was the grilled sea bass. The potatoes were lukewarm, the grilled vegetables cold. We complained and immediately received a new portion, again cold. The third plate was only lukewarm and also only half full. We had only taken a small sample from each of the previous plates. The dessert, tiramisu, bore no resemblance to the picture on the menu, but it was okay. What also bothered me was that a €5 cover charge was added to a bill of over €100 for two people. Very disappointing.

11/10/2025: First of all, the welcome at reception was very friendly. Dinner was tasty, but unfortunately cold and poorly presented. The restaurant was more reminiscent of a large cafeteria. The rooms were dirty and not cleaned. No storage space or power outlets. The trash cans weren't emptied. The window didn't close properly. The breakfast buffet was okay. Luckily, it was only one night. A better youth hostel, but not a resort.

04/10/2025: The rooms are clean, the shower is good, and the food is tasty and varied.
