11/10/2025: First of all, the welcome at reception was very friendly. Dinner was tasty, but unfortunately cold and poorly presented. The restaurant was more reminiscent of a large cafeteria.
The rooms were dirty and not cleaned. No storage space or power outlets.
The trash cans weren't emptied.
The window didn't close properly.
The breakfast buffet was okay.
Luckily, it was only one night.
A better youth hostel, but not a resort.

28/10/2025: We were a group of 10 adults and 7 children; unfortunately, the food didn't arrive at the same time, and the mussels were inedible. The service was friendly and attentive. A decent experience overall.

29/12/2025: We sat inside the restaurant because of the time of year; there are also several tables facing the street. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely.
The service was friendly, perhaps a little too attentive.
We had spaghetti with seafood (very good), spaghetti with sea bass, bruschetta, and a mixed salad. A liter of wine and water came to about €80.
The price was perfectly fair!

08/01/2026: A snack bar on the way to Cisano di Bardolino, near the tobacconist's on the Gardesana road. For several years, it's been our go-to spot on our stroll between Lazise and Bardolino. Their sandwiches and brioches are excellent. In the winter, we love their herbal teas. It reopens during Valentine's Day after a well-deserved post-Christmas break.
07/01/2026: We've lived with our dog for 15 years and have seen a marked increase in the acceptance of pets in public places, both in Italy and abroad. It's therefore surprising and deeply disappointing to see that dogs are not allowed in this establishment: an incomprehensible decision, out of place today and completely at odds with societal developments.

05/03/2026: I've been a waitress for years, and when a customer leaves THE WHOLE PLATE out of politeness, they wonder what was wrong. I ordered a sandwich, only took one bite, and then spat it out. Instead of asking why I left everything, the waiter asked me where I was from.

17/09/2025: For Wednesday, Google Maps shows the opening hours until 2:00 PM. We arrived at 1:35 PM and found the door locked. The saleswoman was still standing in the shop, pointing to a handwritten notice saying it was open until 1:30 PM. When I showed her the Google info through the window, she gestured exaggeratedly, suggesting I was probably too stupid to read. I'll avoid this bakery. It's just a shame that it's quite a long walk to the nearest bakery.
13/09/2025: We ordered three simple brioches; unfortunately, the product wasn't fresh, and they sat on our stomachs all day.

27/07/2025: Prenotato tramite the fork. Personale cordiale e disponibile (avevo avuto un problema che mi ha fatto rischiare di non poter andare a cena, ma mi hanno accolto lo stesso con 40 min di ritardo dalla prenotazione). Noi abbiamo mangiato pesce per cui non posso valutare la carne, ma quello che abbiamo mangiato era molto buono. Il fritto di calamari molto buono, la tagliata di tonno io l’avrei cotta leggermente meno ma comunque era buona. Il vino rosè alla spina non il massimo. Ci siamo trovati tutto sommato bene e il prezzo è stato ragionevole per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Lo consiglio

14/10/2023: Pizza buona, impasto molto soffice e leggera, personale cortese e prezzi tutto sommato onesti. Bella soluzione per una pausa veloce
16/08/2023: Concludiamo le nostre giornate sul lago, spesso cenando in questa pizzeria d'asporto, che permette le consumazioni in loco, grazie ai tavoli posizionati all'esterno del locale, ed accessibili in sedia a rotelle perché non ci sono gradini. Si può consumare la pizza in tranci, anche se noi preferiamo quelle rotonde, che vengono servite su panari in legno. Personale gentile e disponibile. Tempi d'attesa brevissimi. Ottima qualità a giusto prezzo.

27/04/2025: As soon as we were seated I had a bad feeling and I was right. It took a while for menus to be delivered to the table and when the waiter finally came over again, we tried to ask a question about the menu but he spoke over us and told us he was there to take out drinks order.
When we did order the waiter was looking elsewhere and totally distracted, so it shouldn’t have a surprise that the order was incorrect on arrival. The carbonara was vile, tasted of nothing but egg and the pasta was undercooked (not Al dente, undercooked). By the time Parmesan was offered we’d given up trying to eat it. The pizza that was ordered was ok (compared to the carbonara) but we’re sure the mushrooms were tinned.
When we paid, they initially gave us a bill for over -€330 (for three people - one drink and a main each) and it took a further three or four attempts to get it close to right.
