Trattoria Maggio In Chioggia

Very welcoming, nice and clean environment. The staff were very friendly, attentive to customer needs and smiling. The food is fresh, high quality and sublimely prepared. I ate a truffled tuna tartare which was top notch both for the excellence of the tuna and for the balanced quantity of truffle (it didn't cover the taste of the tuna but completed it perfectly) and some spaghetti with sea urchins and bottarga. Even the sublime spaghetti.....the delicate sauce with a sublime flavor blended perfectly with the spaghetti. My partner ate the mussels with tomato and chilli and the cuttlefish in black with polenta. These two dishes are also impeccable in taste and preparation. What can I say.... an exceptional experience to repeat and which I recommend to everyone. The two nice and professional ladies. Try it!!!!!

Had a very good meal in this typical restaurant in Chioggia. Spaghetti with squid ink as exceptional as the fried cloves in a bed of soft polenta. The fisherman's paccheri are excellent, as is the creamed cod and the Lucio-style octopus. Comfortable and hospitable environment as well as helpful and smiling staff. Absolutely worth trying.

Two of us had lunch yesterday in this nice restaurant, small but very welcoming. The dishes were good, in particular the generous portion of creamed cod and the creaminess of the spaghetti with clams. Not an ideal bill if you're looking for a quick lunch, but consistent with what you had in terms of quality.

Very intimate place where you eat very well.

Complimenti! primi ottimi, porzioni più che giuste, frittura buonissima... leggera, il dessert non siamo riusciti a mangiarlo ma vedendo quelli del tavolo accanto credo sarebbero stati deliziosi come tutto il resto. L'osteria aggiungo.. di qualità è curata e pulita, un bel posticino intimo perché non ha tantissimi posti a sedere e lo dico in modo positivo perché così il cliente è più curato, il prezzo è giusto per la qualità espressa. Qualora dovessimo tornare in questa bellissima cittadina sapremo dove tornare a degustare del ottimo cibo.

Io e mio compagno ci siamo sentiti ben accolti dall'atmosfera del locale e il personale gentile. Il cibo è squisito, il pesce fresco e il prezzo è giusto. Ci rimane un bellissimo ricordo
