28/05/2026: Update after 2 years. Still the best Linguine Al nero di seppia in Venice. 3 nights in a row my daughter didn't have anything else and tried it in 4 other restaurants. Nice little restaurant with great food, atmosphere and service. A little bit from the center in the best part of Venice.

26/05/2026: The food was way too expensive and it wasn't even tasty. I had the tortellini riccota e spinachi and it was the worst I've ever had. The sauce was watery and the inside tasted more like matcha. My friends had better experience with food. The seafood meals there are really good.

01/06/2026: This experience left me very disappointed and completely changed the positive opinion I had of this restaurant. My husband and I came for lunch with our two children, ages 4 and 2. We'd been here several times before, and I'd even left a 5-star review with photos because I was so satisfied with the experience. When ordering, I clearly explained that two adults would be eating and that I would be taking care of the children. I only asked for an extra fork and knife to help them eat. We ordered two Complete Menus. The children didn't order anything and simply ate from our food. We didn't ask for extra bread, extra water, or any other dishes. When it came to the bill, however, I was told that the two children would also have to be counted and pay for two Reduced Menus. The amount initially requested was about 52 euros. I was very surprised because no one had informed me of this rule when ordering. The problem for me wasn't money. I would have had no problem paying any cover charge or any fees related to the children's seating. What I couldn't understand was why two children who hadn't ordered anything should be considered two additional menu items. If this rule had been explained to me beforehand, I would have been free to decide whether to order something extra for them. Throughout the conversation, I tried to understand and calmly ask for clarification. Unfortunately, I felt like my questions were being interpreted as an attempt to take advantage of the restaurant, which was completely unrealistic. I never hid the children's presence and had clearly explained the situation from the beginning. The most unpleasant part was the way the situation was handled. My Italian isn't perfect, and while I was trying to explain and translate what I wanted to say, I saw the staff commenting on the situation to other people passing by. I don't know exactly what was said, but I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. In that moment, I felt like I was being judged without anyone truly trying to listen to my point of view. In the end, the bill was corrected, and I only paid for the two Complete Menus plus the service charge, for a total of €32.50. However, I was also told not to return. The saddest thing is that all of this could have been avoided with clear communication from the beginning. I respect the rules of every restaurant, but I believe every customer deserves clear explanations and respect, especially when they're simply trying to understand a situation. No one should feel humiliated or treated as if they're trying to take advantage of others just for asking a question.

18/05/2026: Came here back in 2022 and this was one of my favorite meals in Italy. Seafood platter was delicous and the rissoto was delectable. Absolutely loved sitting on the patio and viewing a very nice square.

14/05/2026: The food was good, but keep in mind the cover charge (€4.50 per person plus drinks (for example, a Coca-Cola is €6). A rice dish for three was €81; theoretically for three, but in practice, it was a small portion per person). Very expensive and the portions are just right.

The view from the terrace is divine. I recommend... cocktails... and cicchetti... everything superb. I recommend it... breathtaking.

We had the mussels, a delight... the agnolotti stuffed with sea bass, whose shrimp and vegetable sauce alone was a world of flavors... the mixed fried fish, light and tasty... and the chocolate and pistachio tartlet, fabulous! The staff was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, always ready to provide detailed information about both the hotel's services and the city's attractions. Every request was handled with courtesy, efficiency, and great attention to detail. The spaces are elegant, meticulously maintained, and the service culture is clearly evident, rooted in professionalism and a constant pursuit of quality. The food and beverage offerings are also excellent: refined and perfectly executed cocktails are accompanied by a culinary offering worthy of the setting. What is most striking is the staff's dedication to their work. Each member of staff demonstrates expertise, precision, and genuine attention to guests, contributing to an atmosphere of great comfort and refinement. A stay that made an important anniversary even more special and one that we will fondly cherish in our memories.
