30/06/2026: After a long day exploring Venice, I dragged myself back to the hotel and found this restaurant. There were six of us, and everyone found something to their liking. I ordered the largest beer, which was delicious. Paired with the tasty grilled meat, all my tiredness melted away. Next time I'm in Venice, I'll definitely be back for a beer and some grilled meat!

30/06/2026: Fantastic staff! The waitress was top-notch! Super kind and helpful! I was able to choose the meat combination (chicken or beef) and two half portions of side dishes (your choice) plus a sauce of your choice. I'm celiac and I have to say I found it truly satisfying. 28/06/2026: I'm a regular customer and have been to this place many times, so I'm sorry to write such a review. Last time, however, I had the feeling that something had changed, perhaps the management or at least some of the staff. Some of the waiters seemed a bit inexperienced and awkward, which I can understand if they're new to the place, but compared to other times, the difference was noticeable. What bothered me the most, however, was the insistence on offering appetizers and desserts. Not just once, but two or three times, and honestly, I found it out of place. It's fine to offer, of course, but when it becomes insistent, it makes the customer feel uncomfortable. Also, because you never know the situation of the person you're dealing with: maybe someone treats themselves to a pizza once a month and has just that much money to spend. Feeling constantly pressured to order something else isn't pleasant. The food is still good, and I've always liked the place, but I really hope this issue gets fixed, because people go out to eat to relax, not to feel pressured. I just want to point out that we asked for the coffee, it wasn't offered to us.

There, the wonderful and lively Betty, a true Venetian, will guide you through her seasonal menu. The service and attention were spectacular; we'll definitely be back!

13/06/2026: Very intimate and quiet. Food was very good and flavorful. Ordered the mussels and spaghetti scogliera for 2. Generous amount of seafood in the pasta. Only thing to complain about were the mosquitoes at the outdoor area, but otherwise a memorable dinner.

28/05/2026: Update after 2 years. Still the best Linguine Al nero di seppia in Venice. 3 nights in a row my daughter didn't have anything else and tried it in 4 other restaurants. Nice little restaurant with great food, atmosphere and service. A little bit from the center in the best part of Venice.

26/05/2026: The food was way too expensive and it wasn't even tasty. I had the tortellini riccota e spinachi and it was the worst I've ever had. The sauce was watery and the inside tasted more like matcha. My friends had better experience with food. The seafood meals there are really good.

01/06/2026: This experience left me very disappointed and completely changed the positive opinion I had of this restaurant. My husband and I came for lunch with our two children, ages 4 and 2. We'd been here several times before, and I'd even left a 5-star review with photos because I was so satisfied with the experience. When ordering, I clearly explained that two adults would be eating and that I would be taking care of the children. I only asked for an extra fork and knife to help them eat. We ordered two Complete Menus. The children didn't order anything and simply ate from our food. We didn't ask for extra bread, extra water, or any other dishes. When it came to the bill, however, I was told that the two children would also have to be counted and pay for two Reduced Menus. The amount initially requested was about 52 euros. I was very surprised because no one had informed me of this rule when ordering. The problem for me wasn't money. I would have had no problem paying any cover charge or any fees related to the children's seating. What I couldn't understand was why two children who hadn't ordered anything should be considered two additional menu items. If this rule had been explained to me beforehand, I would have been free to decide whether to order something extra for them. Throughout the conversation, I tried to understand and calmly ask for clarification. Unfortunately, I felt like my questions were being interpreted as an attempt to take advantage of the restaurant, which was completely unrealistic. I never hid the children's presence and had clearly explained the situation from the beginning. The most unpleasant part was the way the situation was handled. My Italian isn't perfect, and while I was trying to explain and translate what I wanted to say, I saw the staff commenting on the situation to other people passing by. I don't know exactly what was said, but I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. In that moment, I felt like I was being judged without anyone truly trying to listen to my point of view. In the end, the bill was corrected, and I only paid for the two Complete Menus plus the service charge, for a total of €32.50. However, I was also told not to return. The saddest thing is that all of this could have been avoided with clear communication from the beginning. I respect the rules of every restaurant, but I believe every customer deserves clear explanations and respect, especially when they're simply trying to understand a situation. No one should feel humiliated or treated as if they're trying to take advantage of others just for asking a question.

04/04/2026: SUPER experience. We trusted a Venetian friend who recommended this place to us... and we were thrilled! We had the mussels, a delight... the agnolotti stuffed with sea bass, whose shrimp and vegetable sauce alone was a world of flavors... the mixed fried fish, light and tasty... and the chocolate and pistachio tartlet, fabulous! Fantastic service: kind, friendly, and professional! If we come to Venice again, we know where we'll eat again. Thank you ❤️

17/07/2026: A nice green space to get away from the busy, narrow Venetian streets. The sandwich was tasty and good value. We sat outside and the pigeons were quite annoying, so I’d recommend sitting inside the greenhouse part.

17/07/2026: Wonderful good, on a romantic side street in Venice. This restaurant has a great wine list and Wonderful food. We absolutely loved it here. The staff made it extra special. The inside is thoughtfully designed. The lighting is the coolest I saw in Venice.

The lasagna was very good, but the hamburger had lean meat, it was very dry, and the pizza dough was fantastic, but unfortunately I can't say the sauce and cheese were very good.
