23/03/2026: We stayed one night at Relais Do Ciacole and were impressed by the beauty of the property and the excellent breakfast. Unfortunately, our night was disturbed by an intermittent noise from the convector heater, which prevented us from getting a proper night's sleep. ​However, we would like to highlight the management's extreme professionalism: after we reported the technical problem, the staff was understanding and promptly provided a partial refund for the inconvenience. It's rare to find a property so attentive to guests, even in the face of unexpected events. 30/06/2026: After a long day exploring Venice, I dragged myself back to the hotel and found this restaurant. There were six of us, and everyone found something to their liking. I ordered the largest beer, which was delicious. Paired with the tasty grilled meat, all my tiredness melted away. Next time I'm in Venice, I'll definitely be back for a beer and some grilled meat!

30/06/2026: Fantastic staff! The waitress was top-notch! Super kind and helpful! I was able to choose the meat combination (chicken or beef) and two half portions of side dishes (your choice) plus a sauce of your choice. I'm celiac and I have to say I found it truly satisfying. 18/05/2026: Came here back in 2022 and this was one of my favorite meals in Italy. Seafood platter was delicous and the rissoto was delectable. Absolutely loved sitting on the patio and viewing a very nice square.

14/05/2026: The food was good, but keep in mind the cover charge (€4.50 per person plus drinks (for example, a Coca-Cola is €6). A rice dish for three was €81; theoretically for three, but in practice, it was a small portion per person). Very expensive and the portions are just right.

28/06/2026: After the first visit we decided to come again the second day. The pizza was excellent and the waiter Francesco, who took care of us, was absolutely wonderful.

03/06/2026: Absolutely delicious. Had an aubergine/mozarella/sun dried tomato focaccia that the owner made fresh, my wife had the aubergine parmigiana. Both were fantastic. Very quaint place, beautiful interior and good seating outside. Would definitely come back and would highly highly recommend!

28/06/2026: I'm a regular customer and have been to this place many times, so I'm sorry to write such a review. Last time, however, I had the feeling that something had changed, perhaps the management or at least some of the staff. Some of the waiters seemed a bit inexperienced and awkward, which I can understand if they're new to the place, but compared to other times, the difference was noticeable. What bothered me the most, however, was the insistence on offering appetizers and desserts. Not just once, but two or three times, and honestly, I found it out of place. It's fine to offer, of course, but when it becomes insistent, it makes the customer feel uncomfortable. Also, because you never know the situation of the person you're dealing with: maybe someone treats themselves to a pizza once a month and has just that much money to spend. Feeling constantly pressured to order something else isn't pleasant. The food is still good, and I've always liked the place, but I really hope this issue gets fixed, because people go out to eat to relax, not to feel pressured. I just want to point out that we asked for the coffee, it wasn't offered to us.

There, the wonderful and lively Betty, a true Venetian, will guide you through her seasonal menu. The service and attention were spectacular; we'll definitely be back!

13/06/2026: Very intimate and quiet. Food was very good and flavorful. Ordered the mussels and spaghetti scogliera for 2. Generous amount of seafood in the pasta. Only thing to complain about were the mosquitoes at the outdoor area, but otherwise a memorable dinner.

03/06/2026: I'm very disappointed with today's experience. I've been frequenting this restaurant for a long time, and just five days ago I even left a positive review, calling it a good, beautiful, and affordable place. Today, however, I was told I couldn't order the daily menu because it was reserved exclusively for workers. The thing that left me most perplexed was that I saw other people who didn't appear to be workers eating the same menu. When I explained that it wasn't my first time here and that I'd been a customer before, along with my husband, the response I received was, "I've never seen you." I felt treated rudely and without any consideration. It's not so much the fact that I couldn't order the menu, but the way it was communicated to me. For this reason, I'm amending my previous positive review.

01/06/2026: This experience left me very disappointed and completely changed the positive opinion I had of this restaurant. My husband and I came for lunch with our two children, ages 4 and 2. We'd been here several times before, and I'd even left a 5-star review with photos because I was so satisfied with the experience. When ordering, I clearly explained that two adults would be eating and that I would be taking care of the children. I only asked for an extra fork and knife to help them eat. We ordered two Complete Menus. The children didn't order anything and simply ate from our food. We didn't ask for extra bread, extra water, or any other dishes. When it came to the bill, however, I was told that the two children would also have to be counted and pay for two Reduced Menus. The amount initially requested was about 52 euros. I was very surprised because no one had informed me of this rule when ordering. The problem for me wasn't money. I would have had no problem paying any cover charge or any fees related to the children's seating. What I couldn't understand was why two children who hadn't ordered anything should be considered two additional menu items. If this rule had been explained to me beforehand, I would have been free to decide whether to order something extra for them. Throughout the conversation, I tried to understand and calmly ask for clarification. Unfortunately, I felt like my questions were being interpreted as an attempt to take advantage of the restaurant, which was completely unrealistic. I never hid the children's presence and had clearly explained the situation from the beginning. The most unpleasant part was the way the situation was handled. My Italian isn't perfect, and while I was trying to explain and translate what I wanted to say, I saw the staff commenting on the situation to other people passing by. I don't know exactly what was said, but I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. In that moment, I felt like I was being judged without anyone truly trying to listen to my point of view. In the end, the bill was corrected, and I only paid for the two Complete Menus plus the service charge, for a total of €32.50. However, I was also told not to return. The saddest thing is that all of this could have been avoided with clear communication from the beginning. I respect the rules of every restaurant, but I believe every customer deserves clear explanations and respect, especially when they're simply trying to understand a situation. No one should feel humiliated or treated as if they're trying to take advantage of others just for asking a question.

14/05/2026: It was our first time there and we were absolutely thrilled! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were very child-friendly, and the best part was that we had our dog with us, and he was greeted so warmly and kindly! We felt very comfortable and at ease. The food was also delicious, and the value for money was excellent! Thank you so much!
