18/05/2026: Came here back in 2022 and this was one of my favorite meals in Italy. Seafood platter was delicous and the rissoto was delectable. Absolutely loved sitting on the patio and viewing a very nice square.

14/05/2026: The food was good, but keep in mind the cover charge (€4.50 per person plus drinks (for example, a Coca-Cola is €6). A rice dish for three was €81; theoretically for three, but in practice, it was a small portion per person). Very expensive and the portions are just right.

01/05/2026: A very beautiful and well-kept location, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The service was excellent: the waiters were helpful, extremely polite, and always attentive to the customer. The prices are also really good, in line with the quality offered. I have two observations, however. The first concerns a lasagna we ordered and then asked the waiter to put a hold on it. Despite this, it was still on our receipt when we paid. At this point, it would have been appropriate to inform us that the dish would still be charged, so we could have had it prepared and taken home. Paying for a dish that never arrived was not a pleasant experience. Another point I'd like to point out is the lack of dessert options for those who are lactose intolerant or gluten-free. This would be a much-appreciated extra touch. Overall, a positive experience, but with room for improvement in these areas.

15/06/2026: We were looking for family style dining and steak and this was the perfect place for that. We were accommodated on the street beside the canal quickly and enjoyed our meal emmensely on our last night on Venice.

14/06/2026: The best bistecca alla Fiorentina I had in Italy. A generous portion, perfectly grilled and served on a large wooden board with plenty of crispy fries and grilled vegetables. The meat was juicy, flavorful, and cooked beautifully — a truly memorable meal.

05/04/2026: Rating 3.5 We weren't entirely satisfied with the restaurant's offerings. Typical Venetian dishes have probably given way to more sophisticated options over time. It's a shame. However, these were well presented and well cooked. Overall, the prices are a bit high.

04/04/2026: I met Giacomo two years ago in Mentawai and he told me about his restaurant. So some weeks ago I finally made it to venice and to Osteria da Carla. What to say.. All in all it was delicious from the starter to the end. Thanks to Giacomo, Michela and the whole team! Your restaurant is unique and always worth to come! 🫶🥰

28/04/2026: Located right on the beach with a sea view, the service is exceptionally friendly. The food is delicious, and you don't have to wait long for your order. The only minor drawback is the lack of a designated smoking area. It's quite inconvenient if you bring children and the table next to you is filled with smokers. Perhaps the owners should consider creating designated areas or prohibiting smoking at the table.

31/05/2026: I recommend M1 on the menu, meat ramen. The place is cute and beautiful for Instagram photos, with lots of Asian ornaments. Order at the front desk and get a table. 01/03/2026: We found ourselves in this restaurant by pure chance... a seafood restaurant... ok, but the menu offers various meat-based appetizers and a first course, not seafood. When we asked, they expressly informed us that they didn't have anything we requested because they are a seafood restaurant... ok, but just remove them from the menu... and lastly... Empathy, dear restaurateurs... to do this job where you offer hospitality, you need a bit of friendliness, even in answering a 7-year-old child... I wouldn't willingly go back...

03/02/2026: Very friendly and welcoming staff, with exquisite food. Their daily specials are particularly noteworthy, and they specialize in fish, although the noodles with ragu were delicious. You absolutely must try the tiramisu; it's a true delicacy, the best I've ever had. It has a unique creaminess (I didn't have time to take a picture).

18/04/2026: Definitely the best restaurant I've tried in the last year. Perfect food. I recommend the linguine with shrimp... also try the oysters. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and friendly!

16/04/2026: Excellent experience. The service was very personal, Matteo running the bar & wine with great expertise. Fiona was dedicated and equally a delight to be served by. We went for a birthday dinner and it was our best food & dinner experience in Venice but not the most expensive! The front part of the room is cosy, the back might need some Feng-shui input. Overall top and to be repeated the next time in Venice.

14/05/2026: A very well-kept restaurant, with extremely kind and accommodating staff. I had an appetizer of local cured meats, which was exceptional, complemented by my cheese cravings. Followed by a pizza. My compliments go to the entire staff and the kitchen. I recommend it to everyone.

12/05/2026: We've been in Mirani for work for three weeks and discovered the Alle Arcate restaurant: a truly pleasant surprise. The food is excellent, and this evening we had a wonderful dinner with two appetizers, excellent seafood spaghetti, and a truly excellent fried fish platter. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
