04/05/2026: Atmospheric spot hidden away on a peaceful square. Felt very authentic and not at all touristy - glad we sought it out! Lovely staff. We just ordered the pasta but it was superb - I had the duck ragu and it was so fresh, and the pasta definitely home made, beautifully cooked. I believe it is an Sardinian inspired menu, and we liked the bread. Delicious spritz too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

29/04/2026: I was there with some friends the other night and we ordered sandwiches. Looking at the menu, we found ostrich bites, which my friend couldn't help but order because it's an unusual type of meat. The dish arrived, and I assure you, I could have counted the bites on the plate—about nine (obviously tiny). It was all served with an enormous amount of eggplant, other vegetables, brie, and a slice of bread. The combination might have been a good one, flavor-wise, but if I order ostrich bites, I'd want to eat more ostrich than anything else that completes the dish. I'll finish by saying that the sandwiches were truly delicious, top-quality products, but with a €15 sandwich, I expected at least the fries to be included in that €15, considering that the ingredients in the various sandwiches were basic and the same as at any other burger joint.

28/04/2026: Located right on the beach with a sea view, the service is exceptionally friendly. The food is delicious, and you don't have to wait long for your order. The only minor drawback is the lack of a designated smoking area. It's quite inconvenient if you bring children and the table next to you is filled with smokers. Perhaps the owners should consider creating designated areas or prohibiting smoking at the table.

24/04/2026: It's finally reopened!!! As always, the pizza is excellent, and the staff is friendly and quick! I also recommend trying the house digestif.

05/05/2026: Truly a wonderful place at the foot of the Caorle lagoon... Very quiet, where you can eat really well, with excellent fresh fish... Good bottled wines... Really excellent local Sauvignon Blanc... Recommended... Compliments to the owners and all the staff...

07/05/2026: I highly recommend this "ferovecio" themed place. Reservations are recommended. I went this evening and tried two off-menu burgers with a friend: the "Bosco Burger" and the "Caminetto Burger." They were excellent. I recommend the "Ferovecio Platter," which is excellent, but you need to book because it takes a while to prepare.

02/05/2026: Excellent food, high quality, and very tasty combinations. I shared two different dishes with a friend, trying both the burger and the burrito, and both were very good, even the orange fries. Very friendly staff.

18/04/2026: Definitely the best restaurant I've tried in the last year. Perfect food. I recommend the linguine with shrimp... also try the oysters. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and friendly!

16/04/2026: Excellent experience. The service was very personal, Matteo running the bar & wine with great expertise. Fiona was dedicated and equally a delight to be served by. We went for a birthday dinner and it was our best food & dinner experience in Venice but not the most expensive! The front part of the room is cosy, the back might need some Feng-shui input. Overall top and to be repeated the next time in Venice.

08/04/2026: We went to Mario's Pizza two years ago, and it hasn't changed since. We got it to go. The pizza place is small, but has a great selection, and the staff is always very friendly. We always enjoy coming back; the kids love it.

27/04/2026: I chose this restaurant based on its very good reviews and was unfortunately very disappointed. While the service was attentive, the three of us didn't manage to eat a single dish together; everything was served with significant delays. I wanted to cancel the main course because it was already too late for me to eat, as we had a reservation for 7:30 pm. The main course wasn't served until 9:30 pm. Our wine was never refilled, and it was presented in a tacky plastic bucket, presumably meant to be funny. The three of us were seated at a table for two, even though I had reserved a week in advance, and we were practically ignored. Not a word of apology was offered after they realized our mood had soured due to their disregard and unprofessional service. There are countless, far cheaper restaurants in the area. The price-performance ratio is completely out of whack! I can't think of a single positive thing to say about Bacaro La Baia dei Porci.

27/04/2026: We've become regular guests and have never been disappointed! The atmosphere is intimate, warm, and welcoming, informal yet refined and elegant at the same time. The ingredients are top-quality, the fish is incredibly fresh, expertly prepared, and with the utmost respect. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and ready to meet all of their guests' needs. They're exceptional in every way! Even the bread bag selection! And last but not least... pets are more than welcome...welcome, well-liked, and warmly welcomed! Thank you! <3 Highly recommended!!!!!

11/05/2026: Cozy place, friendly staff, very tasty pasta with seafood. We came by chance, because we rented apartments nearby, but we didn't regret it for a second! I haven't tasted tastier pasta.

29/03/2026: Good food. The menu was explained verbally, but we didn't know the price for each individual dish. No indication of whether the product was fresh or frozen. No indication of allergens (required by law). Good treatment of the ingredients, however. The price was still high, despite everything.

01/02/2026: First time I went and I must say it was a great surprise, quiet, clean, just the right amount of silence, excellent food all made by them from the bread, breadsticks, homemade pasta, biscuits, everything was good, courtesy and kindness are the masters in this restaurant, I recommend it

29/04/2026: What an enjoyable last dinner in Florence before we head back home. From start to finish the service was attentive, exceptional, and they put you at ease. We enjoyed the amuse bouche and our ravioli and filet of sole mains and had to leave room for dessert. The food was beautifully presented and as appealing to the eye as it was to the taste buds. Thank you Osteria da Fiore for making our last meal in Venice so memorable!
