18/04/2026: They don't accept groups of more than 4 people; it's the owner's rule. Rude and ungrateful. We were a group of 10 who just wanted to get a drink without making a fuss, and they turned us down. They don't deserve your money. Bye everyone!!

30/04/2026: Everyone loved the pizza. I recommend it! The salmon was dry, but tasty. The desserts were very good.

22/04/2026: They tried to sell me a pizza that wasn't a hole in it, but a destroyed one, and they had the nerve to tell me they didn't notice the mistake! It's called a scam...never again, a sin because the pizza isn't even bad.

01/06/2026: This experience left me very disappointed and completely changed the positive opinion I had of this restaurant. My husband and I came for lunch with our two children, ages 4 and 2. We'd been here several times before, and I'd even left a 5-star review with photos because I was so satisfied with the experience. When ordering, I clearly explained that two adults would be eating and that I would be taking care of the children. I only asked for an extra fork and knife to help them eat. We ordered two Complete Menus. The children didn't order anything and simply ate from our food. We didn't ask for extra bread, extra water, or any other dishes. When it came to the bill, however, I was told that the two children would also have to be counted and pay for two Reduced Menus. The amount initially requested was about 52 euros. I was very surprised because no one had informed me of this rule when ordering. The problem for me wasn't money. I would have had no problem paying any cover charge or any fees related to the children's seating. What I couldn't understand was why two children who hadn't ordered anything should be considered two additional menu items. If this rule had been explained to me beforehand, I would have been free to decide whether to order something extra for them. Throughout the conversation, I tried to understand and calmly ask for clarification. Unfortunately, I felt like my questions were being interpreted as an attempt to take advantage of the restaurant, which was completely unrealistic. I never hid the children's presence and had clearly explained the situation from the beginning. The most unpleasant part was the way the situation was handled. My Italian isn't perfect, and while I was trying to explain and translate what I wanted to say, I saw the staff commenting on the situation to other people passing by. I don't know exactly what was said, but I felt uncomfortable and disrespected. In that moment, I felt like I was being judged without anyone truly trying to listen to my point of view. In the end, the bill was corrected, and I only paid for the two Complete Menus plus the service charge, for a total of €32.50. However, I was also told not to return. The saddest thing is that all of this could have been avoided with clear communication from the beginning. I respect the rules of every restaurant, but I believe every customer deserves clear explanations and respect, especially when they're simply trying to understand a situation. No one should feel humiliated or treated as if they're trying to take advantage of others just for asking a question.

30/06/2026: Fantastic staff! The waitress was top-notch! Super kind and helpful! I was able to choose the meat combination (chicken or beef) and two half portions of side dishes (your choice) plus a sauce of your choice. I'm celiac and I have to say I found it truly satisfying. 30/06/2026: After a long day exploring Venice, I dragged myself back to the hotel and found this restaurant. There were six of us, and everyone found something to their liking. I ordered the largest beer, which was delicious. Paired with the tasty grilled meat, all my tiredness melted away. Next time I'm in Venice, I'll definitely be back for a beer and some grilled meat!

10/10/2025: We went to Gio’s Restaurant and Terrace at The St. Regis Venice for a wedding brunch, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The location alone is worth the visit, with incredible views over the Grand Canal and the stunning church across the water. It feels like one of those perfect Venetian moments where everything aligns: the view, the weather, the food, and the service. We were lucky enough to be there on a beautiful afternoon, and the light reflecting off the water made the entire experience feel almost cinematic. The staff were attentive and professional, offering a nice selection of food and crafting some excellent cocktails. Everything was beautifully presented and timed just right. It was the perfect way to spend our last day in Venice. Even if you’re not staying at the St. Regis, I’d recommend stopping by for a drink or a meal simply to take in that spectacular view. It’s a spot that captures the magic of Venice in every sense.

05/10/2025: We stayed a few nights at the St. Regis in Venice and this was their hotel restaurant… They serve an incredible dinner here! They also serve their amazing breakfast buffet here as well. The buffet is beautifully put together and laid out nicely, so it’s spread out and people can utilize it while not being on top of each other. Their offerings include cereals, the typical breakfast proteins, many breads and sweeter baked goods, full salad options, lots of juices, and other sides dishes. While staying there we also ordered breakfast mains from their menu which were all very good! Their pancakes were outstanding! Their avocado toast type breakfast was incredible, I ordered it twice! Service was always incredible, just like it is for the property overall! Venue is amazing with seating right along the Grand Canal. Highly recommend stopping in, but if coming for dinner, you must make reservations!

19/06/2026: Well my experience of service was not soo good, I invite my daughter to eat there but because I did not want to eat and I ask for a drink in a meantime but , I was kick out off the place, the waiter said that it was a restaurant not w bar. Horrible service.

19/06/2026: Good evening, I'll start by saying that I'm a gondolier, and eating out is a daily occurrence for us. This place serves a bit of everything, from meat to fish, and the pizza is all delicious. The owners and waiters are friendly and very professional; try it and believe it. Of course, you can eat whatever you want, everything is delicious and cooked to perfection. Trust the gondoliers, who know their stuff.

28/05/2026: Update after 2 years. Still the best Linguine Al nero di seppia in Venice. 3 nights in a row my daughter didn't have anything else and tried it in 4 other restaurants. Nice little restaurant with great food, atmosphere and service. A little bit from the center in the best part of Venice.

26/05/2026: The food was way too expensive and it wasn't even tasty. I had the tortellini riccota e spinachi and it was the worst I've ever had. The sauce was watery and the inside tasted more like matcha. My friends had better experience with food. The seafood meals there are really good.

26/05/2026: A corner of paradise! We arrived by bike from Mestre, via Punta Sabbioni, Lio Piccolo, and Ca' Savio. We had dinner, a night's sleep, and breakfast: an experience we'll definitely repeat! The interior is a small museum of objects from the past. Clean and elegant.... Water surrounds it on three sides.... Sara is an excellent host: friendly, kind, knowledgeable, elegant, and charming. Simple, yet curved, rooms furnished in a classic style. The restaurant is top-notch, with a focus on seasonal and local products, and a very interesting wine list. Breakfast features top-quality products. What more can I say?...Congratulations, and see you soon.

18/05/2026: I went there for a delivery, a beautiful, quiet place surrounded by the water, inside a well-kept historic building and the owner, a simple but very simple and kind person.

18/05/2026: Came here back in 2022 and this was one of my favorite meals in Italy. Seafood platter was delicous and the rissoto was delectable. Absolutely loved sitting on the patio and viewing a very nice square.

14/05/2026: The food was good, but keep in mind the cover charge (€4.50 per person plus drinks (for example, a Coca-Cola is €6). A rice dish for three was €81; theoretically for three, but in practice, it was a small portion per person). Very expensive and the portions are just right.

03/06/2026: One of the coolest restaurants in Marghera. Very reasonable prices, with indoor and outdoor seating. The food is delicious. I highly recommend it.

03/06/2026: I'm very disappointed with today's experience. I've been frequenting this restaurant for a long time, and just five days ago I even left a positive review, calling it a good, beautiful, and affordable place. Today, however, I was told I couldn't order the daily menu because it was reserved exclusively for workers. The thing that left me most perplexed was that I saw other people who didn't appear to be workers eating the same menu. When I explained that it wasn't my first time here and that I'd been a customer before, along with my husband, the response I received was, "I've never seen you." I felt treated rudely and without any consideration. It's not so much the fact that I couldn't order the menu, but the way it was communicated to me. For this reason, I'm amending my previous positive review.

29/05/2026: A very well-kept restaurant with a modern design. Very friendly staff and a very inviting atmosphere. Excellent food, both the main courses and the cicchetti, are carefully prepared using only the finest ingredients. Reasonable prices, a definite thumbs up!

22/05/2026: Excellent, delicious food! One of the best places in Dolo for dinner or takeout. I ate very well and the service was very friendly. The beef steak was spectacular, and I recommend trying the meatballs, which are truly delicious! They aren't in the photos because I usually get them for takeout.

I belong to a Longevity Research Center at the Catholic University of Rome, and I think Professor Giuseppe Toniolo would be proud of your initiative. 17/07/2026: I really liked the Stella Maris resort. The service staff in the dining room were always friendly, even if you don't speak Italian. This hotel is definitely worth a visit. Communication with reception before my trip was also excellent; they were very friendly and answered all my questions.
