20/06/2025: We stopped there on our way home. The owner immediately offered us a grape juice, then a bottle of house wine. All without mentioning a price. We ate for €26. A portion of pasta with mushrooms and a very small veal schnitzel with fries—probably not homemade. The food was okay, but at €50 it was completely overpriced. A shame. The owner was very nice. Nevertheless, we still think it's overpriced. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant.

22/03/2026: I got two jam-flavored brioches and one honey-flavored one. There was almost no content inside.

07/03/2026: Of course, if you live next to a highway, any place with a sea view seems beautiful, but if you're looking for a romantic dinner and a "roundabout by the sea," this isn't the place! More than a small restaurant, it feels like a company cafeteria, a jumble of tables packed tightly together, surrounded by the din of a hundred or so diners talking and raising their voices to be heard. I won't mention the rudeness of the staff (the owners first and foremost) because I'd have to use a tone I'd rather not use.

03/01/2026: I rarely leave bad reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. From the beginning, things went wrong: two people in our group were served the wrong dishes. When we politely pointed this out, instead of apologizing, the staff reacted annoyed and blamed us. The worst part came when we asked to pay. We were not given a proper bill or receipt, only a total amount told to us verbally. When we calmly asked for an itemized receipt, the manager became angry and aggressive. His tone was rude and intimidating, which made us uncomfortable, so we felt pressured to stop discussing and just pay. After that, the atmosphere completely changed. We were treated extremely unprofessionally and basically rushed out of the restaurant. The behavior of the staff, especially the manager, was disrespectful, unwelcoming, and shocking. This felt like a clear attempt to overcharge tourists and silence questions. I have never experienced such rude service before. Never coming back. Avoid this place if you expect transparency and basic respect.

17/02/2026: I was disappointed with my order. The first time, they didn’t cook the eggs Benedict properly, and the second time, they overcooked them. My food also took a long time to arrive, and the croissant had very little filling. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

13/04/2026: Good morning, the service has gotten significantly worse lately. Often (about every time) they deliver at least one out of every two pizzas to me is burnt or incorrect. Last Saturday, however, out of four pizzas I ordered, three were ready. I noticed one wasn't complete, and after a few minutes of seeing the pizza being passed around the counter, I told the girl (very distressed by the number of customers and therefore the number of pizzas to be cleared) to mark it for me anyway, otherwise the others would get cold. Very grumpy, she replied that it wasn't mine. After a few more minutes, I remembered that three out of four pizzas were ready. The pizza chef heard me and immediately made me the missing pizza. Too bad she took it out of the oven early, so it was raw. I took home three cold pizzas and one raw one. Unfortunately, over the weekend, I learned that it's best to avoid going to Pizzalonga Mirano. They don't know how to handle the huge number of customers, and unfortunately, they don't have the right, accurate, polite, and friendly staff to deliver the pizzas, nor the pizza chefs who cook them properly. It's a shame, because the dough and ingredients are excellent, and when they first opened, everything was perfect. Now, as time goes by, it's only gotten worse.

07/02/2026: Very good pizza, with carefully selected, seasonal ingredients. Excellent pasta and quick service.

10/11/2025: The coffee is good, the croissants excellent. But for me, the place is too chaotic. So many people sit there for hours at the tables that I rarely go there so as not to wait for both breakfast and to pay at the register. Furthermore, regulars get priority even if they arrive later.

19/05/2026: Yesterday my son and I went to Casa del Gelato, which has always been our favorite place for ice cream. Unfortunately, we won't be going back. The ice cream was more like a popsicle than gelato, it had no flavor. What a shame! Ice cream is an Italian excellence, what a bad impression we're making...

17/01/2026: 25 minutes for a pizza, even though it was almost empty

08/05/2026: We had a quick lunch at this little spot on a quiet, central street in San Donà. The waiter was extremely kind and helpful, and he recommended a special off-menu burger that didn't disappoint at all (quite the opposite!). We also tried the cod croquettes and the club sandwich, and we were all very happy with our choices; quick service, reasonable prices. Recommended!

15/12/2025: The Coffee Pavilion, part of the monumental complex of the Royal Gardens of Venice, is an elegant neoclassical construction by architect Lorenzo Santi. The building, which served as the park's cafehaus, is made of decorated and perforated Istrian stone and is topped by a central dome. Today, after a major restoration completed in 2019, it has regained its original function and houses a café open to the public.

18/05/2026: Unfortunately, this is no longer the place I used to love visiting during my trips to Venice. The decor, the staff, and the menu have changed. My favorite sea bass ceviche is no longer on the menu. It's come and gone. You can delete the tag.

25/04/2026: "Go to another bar, there are plenty of them!" That's how the owner greeted us when we tried to sit at the raised tables. We told her we wanted to have an aperitif and several cicchetti (there were 10 of us). She kept insisting that we go to other bars because the kids were finishing their ice cream (the last bite of the cone was left). As we left without a fight, she kept insisting that we leave. Get some education, learn some manners, and change jobs.

30/03/2026: The cookies are delicious, the only downside is the crowds, including tour guides who come into the pastry shop, which means there's often a group of 30 people trying to get through a narrow passageway.

04/11/2025: Delicious pastries and amazing hot chocolate! The welcome was very cold, though, but the decor is lovely ❤️
