The owners were very nice, funny and accommodating language-wise for us foreigners (the girl behind the bar spoke English and even a little bit of French). Grazie mille ancora dal Canada! 😃🍁

16/11/2025: First stop for a few beers after arriving at the hotel. I felt very comfortable and at ease, as it reminded me of a typical bar like this in my neighborhood in Córdoba, Andalusia. We went back there the next day.

29/05/2025: After a week of travelling and eating some amazing food, I thought we'd leave on a high on beautiful Mazzorbo, rejuvenated in part due to Michelin starred Venissa and it's slightly more affordable Osteria. Let's get it out of the way - the location is incredible, with the open dining room being an exceptional way to enjoy view of the vineyard and Chiesa. We chose the Osteria, as it being our last night, we couldn't necessarily splash out on the main restaurant's menu. We also hoped a more relaxed atmosphere would make a nice change in busy Venice. While this was all true, it just led to the most disappointing meal of the trip. The food on the taster menu was various levels of 'fine'; while all locally sourced and fresh, everything tasted under seasoned and, in some cases, bland. Even my favourite dish, the main fish, was more appealing for variety and quantity than flavour. The dessert was also a damp conclusion, a simple meringue dish, which was a bit one note. The wine pairing also disappointed as the flavour of the food wasn't strong enough to interact, and vermouth as a final glass was wild. Service could have greatly improved our opinion but it existed in a strange middle-ground between fine dining (explaining the food and wine pairing) and poor table service (two staff, overworked and dismissive). We even started finding reasons to be annoyed by the end (other diners definitely got more from their wine pairing than us), such was our sour mood. All in all, wouldn't suggest making the journey and spending what was a lot for not much.

24/03/2026: We visited 23rd March 2026, the area is very quiet, this was one of few restaurant open. We ordered the Allegra pizza, a lasagne and fries. The pizzas are a great size for price (hand for size reference), and tasted great, the base was good and the tomato sauce was delicious. The lasagne was not the same story, its not quite a beef lasagne as we might've expected, and contains ham instead. Ours did not come out right but the restaurant were kind enough to take it off our bill, so we really appreciated that. The fries we had were one of the best I've had. Theyre thin and incredibly crispy, and tasted great. Before food was brought out, they did bring out some bread and breadsticks, breadsticks were great, but the bread was stale, dry and cold, we tried to ask for butter but they said they don't have any, which was a shame. Service was okay too.

03/03/2026: I had to wait a very long time, I'm sorry to give such a low emptiness but I can't wait 40 minutes between the first and second course and the room wasn't full, when it arrived it was also with the wrong side dish for the coffee we waited at least 5 minutes we are not on holiday we are workers we don't have all this time available.

09/03/2026: A spacious and airy restaurant with a beautiful veranda overlooking the Gran Viale. The cuisine is varied and of good quality. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, as is the owner, who, among other things, pays particular attention to his Venetian clientele.

22/07/2025: Box de fritures mixtes ( poissons, calamars, crevettes) à emporter. Bien frais, propres ( près tous les aliments avec une petite pince, que ce soit la polenta ou le morceau de citron) Seulement deux petits bémols : crevettes un peu trop cuites et le morceau de citron, il est servi sans l'écorce. C'est donc difficile de presser pour obtenir le jus sur les fruits de mer. Autrement très bien. Accueil sympa.

06/02/2026: I loved the service and the Alfredo pasta was exquisite, the best pasta I've ever had. The pizzas were also delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend it.

30/12/2025: Worst experience ever, the oil where they make the food it's old and taste and smell dreadfull. I was puking all the night. Run from this restaurant. Even more, they charge us 170 Euro for 3 people with such bad quality, asking for a tip was just a joke.

16/02/2026: On the evening of the 15th of this month, having firsthand experience of the quality of the food and the pizza, I organized a dinner with 14 friends. By convincing them to go to that restaurant, I also convinced them to choose the seafood and fried fish. I asked the chef and the lady taking orders to replace the linguine with spaghetti, and was assured that it was possible. To my surprise, when the dishes arrived, the seafood wasn't served with spaghetti as requested, the fried fish was very sparse and poorly cooked, with a mountain of fried batter—"inedible." The pizzas were good but undercooked. I reported it to the owner, who very kindly removed the fried fish from the bill, a gesture I greatly appreciated. However, I was completely disappointed with that dinner, especially since I had praised the restaurant to friends. I feel sorry for the kind and helpful owner, but I don't think I'll recommend that restaurant in the future. I also regret having to change my previous rating from 5 to 3.
