We booked on Tuesday for Saturday, and yet we were seated in the upstairs dining room, which at first glance looks a lot like a hospital cafeteria.
Certainly not the best choice we could have made: unhelpful staff who snorts when ordering, and insane prices considering the quality and location!
€422 for seven adults and one child, for a plate of paella and some draft red wine...
And we returned even though a few months ago we were left outside in the cold for having a small dog!
I think we could find better places!

09/06/2025: We had really high expectations for this one as it had received a traveler award, unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype.
Ordered bottle of wine, boar ragu, greek chicken and a couple fish dishes. Flavors were pretty bland across the board and nothing really excited us. We had a window seat which was amazing to look into the canal, but the food just didn't hit the mark for us.
Menu also seems to focus heavily on vegetarian dishes with limited options for beef or fish.
24/05/2025: Volevo andare in questa affascinante trattoria da un po’ ma non trovavo posto …finalmente l’ho trovato e conto di ritornare quanto prima …antipasti ,primi e piatti di verdure ottimi tutto fatto in casa con materie prime eccezionali .I dolci sono deliziosi .Il personale gentilissimo,non solo i cani sono ammessi ma vengono anche super coccolati … il posto è arredato in maniera semplice e l’ambiente è molto caldo e accogliente .Tutto ottimo non ultima la posizione che è sull’acqua alla fine di Campo San Giacomo da l’Orio. Da non perdere!!!!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

12/10/2025: After a long time, the change of management has unfortunately erased all the tradition that characterized this place.
The quality of the food today is compromised by inconsistent Eastern influences and preparations that seem to have come straight from the refrigerator.
The staff appears to lack knowledge, history, and culinary culture.
A place that, sadly, no longer represents our local tradition: the art of cooking is completely lacking.

03/11/2025: Excellent pastry shop in Verona. Very professional and welcoming staff. We tried several desserts, and some of them were so good we wanted more. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back. For five desserts and two coffees, we paid €11.20. Unfortunately, I no longer have a photo of the receipt.

28/10/2025: Super delicious and creamy flavor! Lovely service. The flavors are on the wall, the gelato is covered (as some gelato purists say it should be). Highly recommend!
08/10/2025: I've been to Grom many times in the evenings and always get the lemon gelato, which is delicious. The service and communication with customers are excellent, and the Chinese woman in particular is very friendly and knowledgeable. A beautiful and unique place that you can't miss in Venice!

20/10/2025: Right on the beach, we stay at the Acquario all year round. The Prosecco by the glass is fantastic, the pizzas are amazing, and the service is always cheerful.
08/10/2025: Simply a fantastic beach bar, great atmosphere, very friendly, and everything was great with the dogs, too.
We'll be back next year.

The time between one course and the other was adequate from my point of view. If you are hungry you will see that they will not make you wait long, in fact you will be amazed.

Highly recommended!
Fast service, also ideal for business lunches: quality, speed, and courtesy. Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and genuine attention to dietary needs.

10/09/2025: We highly recommend everything. Breakfast was excellent. The staff found and returned our luggage. It was a pleasure to search for it, rather than having to forget about anyone's help once you're gone. I recommend it for families. It's close to the beach and other attractions, and the connection is good.
