The place definitely needs updating and more attention. There's no light in the bathroom. You have to ring the bell to get in. The owner welcomes you warmly and gives you a good introduction to the restaurant's cuisine. Service is quick, food is decent. I enjoyed some dishes more than others (obviously, it's a matter of taste). The tea at the end was good. Overall, it was good...but you have to adapt to the environment and not have too many expectations. Prices, in my opinion, are a bit steep considering what's actually on offer. Average spend is around 30 euros per person. As an alternative evening, it's fine...but it requires a spirit of adaptation.

One of the best restaurants in Padua. We've been going there for years and have introduced it to many friends. The atmosphere is warm and homey, and the owners' kindness is unparalleled. The food is addictive, not to mention the tea afterward, which rounds out the meal and makes the experience complete.

The food is exquisite, with excellent spiced meats. I find it very interesting to eat with your hands, using the traditional Eritrean injera bread as tongs. The service is charming, with the owner guiding you through Eritrean cuisine. The atmosphere is charming and well-decorated.
