20/08/2024: We had lunch in this little place where they prepare fresh pasta and I must say that I ate very well, I had some Ravioli with cheese and pepper and then, not happy, I asked if they could prepare some tagliatelle carbonara for me, which were also excellent, the portions are generous and the staff is very kind, shame about the few seats, honest prices. Definitely worth returning.

18/08/2024: Not a large place, but if you find a place it's worth stopping in, the quality is home-made, good service, satisfied.

12/11/2024: Abbiamo visitato questo simpatico locale dopo una visita al castello di Issogne. Nonostante fosse domenica e non avessimo prenotato, il ristoratore si è prodigato per farci accomodare comunque, allestendo un tavolino per noi nell'area bistrot. Il menù si è rivelato una vera sorpresa, con piatti in grado di incuriosire i palati più esigenti. Abbiamo assaggiato le cosce di quaglia su spuma di porcini, l'agnello CBT e arrostito su patate viola e il petto d'anatra scaloppato, tutti squisiti. Buona anche la cantina (bevuto un calice di Haut-Médoc) e la carta dei dolci. Prezzo equo. Esperienza da ripetere!

20/08/2024: Very nice service. We took dishes of the day outside regular menu and it was very good. However I dont recommend aubergines - really swimming in vinegar plus the red wine by the glass was hmmm drinkable. Overall interesting place but very expensive for the quality they serve.

12/08/2024: Wonderful discovery, the beautiful refuge in a nature reserve we spent one night and we will definitely return for the welcome and kindness of the staff, both the cuisine and the cleanliness were excellent, see you again soon☺️☺️

29/08/2024: Food that tries to impress like being sophisticated. Pretty much tasteless and just a reminder of that deconstructed food. Mille Feuille cake that made with two layers of puff pastry and inside whip cream. Children unfriendly particularly the lady that looks like the maître.

Ajoutés à cela, un cadre agréable et un service soigné ! Comment ne pas mettre 5 étoiles à ce petit trésor d'Aoste?! Et votre Carte Bleue n'en souffrira même pas !😁

27/08/2024: We were welcomed for dinner and seated in the room below the restaurant. Super intimate and refined environment. Satisfying menu, based on typically Aosta Valley dishes. We had the mixed starter, then homemade spaghetti with meat sauce and Aosta Valley crepes. As a second course, the baked pork ribs and the beef stew. Finally the desserts: chocolate cake with chestnut flour and another cake. All delicious, recommended!

24/08/2024: It was a very pleasant discovery, quality ingredients combined in "good and beautiful" dishes, excellent and fast service, kind and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended, above average level at a more than fair price.

06/08/2024: Nous nous sommes régalés, les plats étaient très bons et service impeccable. Le soir où nous avons pris notre repas, la carte était réduite à cause d'un spectacle dans le fort, mais ça ne nous a pas empêché de trouver notre bonheur.

29/08/2024: Welcoming pizzeria and really friendly and helpful staff always ready to respond to the customer's every need... dough, what am I telling you to do... lots and lots of stuff! Words are not enough to make you understand how good the pizza is! You have to go there in person or order it by calling them. They also make home deliveries. The peculiarity then, in addition to how good the pizza is, is that it is made in a wood oven... what can I say: I tasted the provola and pepper and I must say that I am absolutely satisfied!!! I highly recommend it. You eat an emotion. Loris and his staff are exquisite people.

23/08/2024: I was in the pizzeria on a Saturday evening, it was nice, clean and welcoming, the pizza was delicious to say the least, the dough was light and good and the products were of excellent choice, I'm sure I'll be back

19/10/2024: My review is intended solely as an expression of my disappointment towards the management/staff of one of the places we love in Valle D'Aosta.. In the past we have visited the facility several times, both staying in the rooms (in my opinion very welcoming and with a special atmosphere) but above all dining in a restaurant truly worthy of attention both for the menus offered and for the selection of cheeses offered , and for the wine list! In short, always a pleasant return to the “Locanda La Clusaz”! So much so that, after some time, having the opportunity to spend 3 days in Valle D'Aosta, my partner and I decided to book a table for dinner to try the experience of a food and wine journey again which has often fully satisfied us. This time we would have done it with our baby who was just over a month old (information provided at the time of booking to help the staff consider the size of a pram). Unfortunately due to a last minute problem, but as we know with small children anything can happen, despite myself and with great regret I found myself having to call to warn them that we would not be able to arrive. The person who answered me, I think the owner, remembering the voice from the past, replied in an absolutely rude and in my opinion inappropriate way: "we sent 20 away, let's hope they come back!" Then disconnecting the call. Well dear Locanda la Clusaz, I can't tell you if those 20 for our table of 2 will return, but I can certainly tell you that despite the premises, from this evening onwards it will no longer be worth it for us to stop in Gignod on our excursions Valley.

04/09/2024: Una sola precisazione che riguarda il prezzo. Se la polenta con salsiccia costa 12 euro, perché se chiedo un piatto di polenta concia senza alcun condimento costa sempre 12 euro ? Polenta comunque ottima.

01/08/2024: The structure is completely new, including the rooms and bathrooms. Everything clean. We ate well and lots of it (the pannacotta with chocolate cream was spectacular). The managers are kind and helpful. Excellent location for different types of excursions, in all seasons. A great refuge, I will definitely return.
