30/07/2025: The outdoor seating is very welcoming, the service could be improved (we were served by a young woman who was rather inexperienced and not particularly cheerful), and the dishes were good but not up to the price.

17/08/2025: Fantastic experience! We were staying at the campsite just up the road, and after days of mediocre meals, we decided to treat ourselves to a proper dinner.... How lucky we were to have you so close! The place is a gem, a very intimate and welcoming atmosphere, soft lighting, and just a few tables. Andrea, the owner, immediately proved to be a character, obviously an idol. The wine list is physical, meaning the bottles are on a cabinet, and Andrea helps you choose based on the dishes you ordered. The dishes we tried were all delicious, beautiful to look at and excellent on the palate. Thanks Andrea also for letting us try the absinthe; it was an experience that made us end the dinner with a bang. ❤️

16/08/2025: Rude manager. We arrived on a Saturday, August 15th, the place was empty, only one table occupied. At 1:10 PM... "there are two of us..." he replied that everything was full (perhaps in the evening) and tried to give us his business card for a possible reservation. Instead of answering us, I'm sorry, the kitchen is closing soon, but if you want, I'll prepare you something cold. Maybe they don't serve them. Managers like this deserve to fail. His mother understood that.

02/09/2025: A good inn halfway between Aosta and the Gran San Bernardo Pass, located directly on the state road of the same name. It has convenient adjacent parking. The rooms are basic, Alpine-style, but tidy and clean. The en-suite bathroom is well-appointed and efficient. A convenient rear exit with a digital passkey allows for independent access in the evenings and at night. The reception is friendly and courteous. There is a modern hot drinks vending machine on the floor (for a fee). Breakfast is available for €15, but we didn't partake because we're used to coffee and a croissant, which seemed excessive. The restaurant is excellent, open to non-residents, but it also seemed very expensive. I can't comment on the quality because we didn't use it. Comfortable beds and double pillows. The carpeted floors are a bit dated, but in keeping with the old local customs. I would definitely stay here again.

30/08/2025: We spent a night in this splendid historic inn on the road to Etroubles. We chose it for its proximity to the start of the Mont Fallère tour and for the reasonable room rate offered by Booking.com. Food prices are high. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

01/09/2025: Last meal of our trip and absolutely the best pasta in Aosta! Little misunderstanding of takeaway meal, but staff handled the situation well. Give a pay rise to the guy with the bow! Grazie!

02/07/2025: Lasciare lo Stefenelli desk è stato quasi traumatico, come atterrare dopo un volo indimenticabile. Non è un ristorante per tutti i giorni, ma un'esperienza da regalarsi (o da regalare!) quando si cerca qualcosa di veramente straordinario. È il tipo di posto che ti fa riconsiderare cosa sia possibile fare con il cibo, spingendo i confini del gusto verso dimensioni inesplorate. In poche parole: se siete pronti a un'avventura culinaria che vi farà toccare le stelle con la lingua, lo Stefenelli desk è la vostra prossima destinazione! Non posso che raccomandarlo con ogni fibra del mio essere. Andateci, e preparatevi al decollo!

27/08/2025: We tried this place in the center of Aosta, we were very satisfied, large portions, excellent ingredients, top service, young, competent and very motivated guys in providing excellent service... if we have the opportunity to pass by again it will be a pleasure to return... well done everyone... And the amaro offered 🔝💯

15/06/2025: The setting is beautiful and peaceful, giving the impression of being cut off from the world. I enjoyed my room, which was large and well-appointed. The meal at the restaurant was excellent. I also really enjoyed the Adventure Park!

01/08/2025: We ate at this restaurant and enjoyed it. The gnocci were good, but unfortunately not quite warm. The Stinco was delicious. The beer selection was huge. The staff was attentive and enthusiastic. We would eat here again.

13/07/2025: Très beau restaurant, décor soigné. La cuisine est raffinée et le choix des vins intéressant. Le service est moyen car le sourire ne semble pas être la marque du lieu. Néanmoins, si vous logez dans le village ou dans la forteresse, c’est ce restaurant qu’il faut choisir.

05/08/2025: We had lunch at this lovely refuge after a hike in the area. The food was good and quite plentiful. Prices were decent! The staff who served us were very friendly! The only downside...our four-legged friends aren't allowed in. :(

01/08/2025: A welcoming place that can be reached easily without much effort. The food is good and the staff is friendly. When it's dark and clear, you can admire numerous stars thanks to its location in a valley free of light pollution.

05/06/2025: This place is incredible! Not only is it beautiful, but it's also incredibly warm and welcoming, with excellent food and a high level of comfort. The big plus is that it welcomes dogs. It's not just a shelter; it's a delightful restaurant in a corner of paradise!
