Very pleasant weekend with 2 friends. Nice retreat, great rooms. Good welcome and notable cleanliness. Dogs accepted, which is not frequent (although for a fee). Excellent breakfast, dinner quite good but slightly below expectations compared to everything else. Luca and Cristina

Barma is a simply indescribable refuge, located on the route of the legendary Tor. The paths we followed to reach it were 2, 2D and 2C with a first stretch in the forests and a second rocky one up to the last steep ramps before the refuge plateau. There are two short, slightly exposed points equipped with a blue rope and comfortable metal handles, just pay attention especially if the rocks are wet. The structure is crazy, outside all in stone while inside it is a masterpiece of wood, stone and panoramic windows with hammocks. Very kind and welcoming staff, delicious cuisine (lentil soup, bread gnocchi with butter and herbs, grilled toma cheese and potatoes, cinnamon and apple cake, rich breakfast), incredibly comfortable room and private bathroom with shower! Breathtaking surroundings, an unforgettable experience. A thousand compliments

What can I say... calling it a refuge is truly an understatement: beautiful, welcoming, with large internal rooms and an external terrace overlooking the lake, where you can enjoy the excellent cuisine! The rooms where you can stay overnight are also spacious. We reached it in about three hours, starting from Oropa (Biella): a beautiful walk that is worth doing. We will definitely be back....see you next time!!!

Bel punto di appoggio per uscite di trail con partenza dalla valle Cervo o da Oropa o vda cumarial....buona la torta al cioccolato..

Quando ho aperto la porta e sono entrato ho pensato di aver sbagliato posto.. invece ero in un rifugio di montagna! Wow! E la prima cosa che ho pensato. Tutto bello! Cibo buono, confort che in Liguria al mare non ti danno neanche pagando. Veramente un SIGNOR rifugio! Complimenti ❤️

Sono stata in questo rifugio con mio marito e la mia cagnolina. Il rifugio è bello e moderno, ha il wifi, accetta la carta di credito ed i bagni sono immacolati. Fanno anche ottimi aperitivi. Noi abbiamo preso due strudel, 5€, e due birre alla spina menabrea, una piccola 3.5€ e una media 6€ , spendendo 19.5€. La.strudel era servito caldo con panna, davvero squisito!!! Decisamente un posto da consigliare

Magnifique refuge, très propre avec une vue incroyable. Le personnel très accueillant et sympathique. On y a très très bien mangé. Une superbe rando avec le refuge en point de chute .
