08/01/2025: rude, arrogant, and expensive. Never experienced a situation like this. Truly absurd. The owner (I think) who instead of apologizing for several of their mistakes, kept bothering to reply. Not happy. In the end he was even charging us for an extra bottle of wine. Really bad. I will also write to slow food about this wonderful experience. It's a shame because the food, although expensive, 10% more than the average for the area, was good. Then okay, the owner's dirty black nails, perhaps for serving dishes at the table, could have been cleaned. But it is clear that they want to show that the land is worked, at best.

15/12/2024: A small shop/place in the center of Aosta but with lots and lots of quality and kindness. I ordered a portion of lasagna and polenta concia to take away and I must say that in addition to the excellent quality, the abundance also justifies the price (which in any case is not very high). It's a shame (or maybe not) that there are few places available for lunch on site. I recommend everyone to stop and try their specialties. Compliments.

07/12/2024: Walking in the historic center of Aosta, we came across this small pasta factory and were immediately intrigued. In addition to producing and selling fresh pasta, they cook it on the spot for lunch, allowing you to enjoy a quality dish directly on site. The pasta is truly excellent, with a flavor and texture that only an artisanal pasta factory can offer. We were able to choose between different pasta shapes and toppings, a pleasant experience that made us feel pampered. The service was fast and the staff extremely kind, making everything even more pleasant. A perfect place for a quick, good and authentic lunch in the heart of Aosta. Highly recommended!

07/01/2025: A delicious stop in a very welcoming environment, an ideal stop before going up to Champoluc to meet up with friends upon arrival from Milan on Friday evening or to stop when I go to France to see my family. It is located 200m from the Verrès motorway exit, 1 hour and a half from Milan, 45 from Champoluc, 1 hour from Courmayeur. I absolutely recommend.

08/10/2024: Stupendo rifugio che accosta lo stile di montagna con uno stile moderno. La vista sul lago è spettacolare. Menù tipico valdostano, con prezzi corretti per la qualità e la quantità che viene servita. Nota di merito alla polenta concia, la più buona che io abbia mai mangiato. Buonissimi anche gli gnocchi di pane e i dolci. Trattandosi di un rifugio, l'offerta del menù è davvero molto ampia. Il rifugio è molto grande, quindi in grado di ospitare numerosi coperti. Oltre al ristorante, offre anche la possibilità di pernottamento.

09/10/2024: After a nice walk we stopped to eat in this refuge on a Sunday at the end of August. The environment is quiet, the service is excellent and everyone is very helpful. Fantastic food, we took the mixed platter with cold cuts and cheeses to share, gnocchi with bleu and polenta with bleu. Good prices considering you leave with a full belly!

09/09/2024: I chose La Magdaleine as a stop on the Balteo path and staying overnight here was a truly unforgettable experience. The welcome was excellent, with a warm and familiar atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at home. The typical Aosta Valley cuisine is studied down to the smallest detail, with dishes that express the authenticity and flavor of the territory. You immediately perceive the love for the mountains and local traditions as soon as you cross the threshold. A magical place, where it feels like being in a bubble out of time. Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation, good food and a true connection with nature and the culture of the place.

28/12/2024: Large and dated rooms, but clean! The manager was very friendly, breakfast was rich and plentiful, price was normal, ample parking. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool, pets are allowed

28/12/2024: I stayed at this hotel over Christmas with my family and my dog. I couldn't have chosen a better place to spend Christmas, I felt at home. The owners are very kind and very welcoming people. I'll definitely come back, you always return to where you had a good time. Thank you with all my heart
