30/08/2025: A chic place with friendly and well-trained staff, well-prepared gourmet food with taste, which you can pair with select wines or non-alcoholic alternatives, prices appropriate for the dishes, a wonderful journey through vegetarian flavors while maintaining a touch of elegance in a refined historic setting given its location in San Miniato Alto.

11/05/2025: Spectacular homemade ice creams and very original flavors. If you're in Pisa, don't hesitate to stop by and get some. I'd also like to highlight Andres's kindness; he always made us feel at home.

02/09/2025: A very nice place with tables in the appropriate outdoor area where you can breathe in a peaceful atmosphere. It's clean and tidy. The ice cream flavors aren't numerous, but they have all the classic and important ones, and sometimes they add a few more. The ice cream and milkshakes are very good. Recommended.

29/08/2025: I tried a tub last week and found the gelato really good, light and enjoyable. All the flavors had their own flavor, but not overpowering, resulting in a delicate gelato that didn't overpower the other flavors. The price is average; I'll also try other flavors and a cone to see how much each wafer contains. I'll also try the semifreddos and desserts, given the wide selection they had. So approved!

01/09/2025: The chicken burger was the biggest scam ever it was not chicken it was like fleshy frozen nuggets and extremly poor quality.The salat was also cheap eisberg salat i would not recommend also the cheese pepper nouldes were not good on the noudles were so much pepper you didint even tastet the noudles.

26/07/2025: Great people, great place, wonderful cuisine. Unhurried, delicious, and in a wonderful atmosphere. After the first evening, we wanted more, and we weren't disappointed. I highly recommend it.

08/07/2025: Tried the mango gelato and cookie gelato, they both tasted really good! And especially the mango, had a very accurate alphonso mango flavour which can be hard to do well. Would come back again :)

07/07/2025: 100% vegan (dairy and egg free) ice cream parlor, with an amazing selection, with a variety of servings. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone, whether you are vegan, dairy sensitive, or just want to eat a good ice cream.

08/08/2025: From the atmosphere to the food and the location, everything was excellent! We had a wonderful time and ate more than reasonable prices, everything was so delicious! Seasonal and garden-fresh produce! Pets welcome, all in a family atmosphere!

06/08/2025: A welcoming place where you can eat really well for a reasonable price. The view of the ancient village of Castelnuovo Val di Cecina completes the wonderful experience! Definitely worth it.

12/08/2025: A great place to end the day. The food is delicious and very varied. Not your standard pizza and pasta. The service is very friendly and attentive. They explain everything calmly, no matter how busy it is. We were there on two days and all had different dishes, and I have to say, every dish was delicious. The value for money was really great. We will definitely recommend you.

06/08/2025: Great restaurant, very very good food, run by a young team without table service but very well organized. We ate for 4 for 44 euros, each with a dish of bread and a pitcher of water and half a pitcher of fresh dry white wine, very pleasant to drink, flavored to perfection. Congratulations to this group of young people.

04/09/2025: Very nice and tastefully decorated place, good service with friendly and fast staff, very good pizza, the only downsides are the cheesecake, which tasted only of pistachio syrup, and the higher-than-average prices (2 pizzas, 1 water, and 2 desserts: 50 euros)

25/08/2025: I went there last night for the first time, for a friend's birthday. The staff were really kind and welcoming, and the pizza was well-cooked with carefully selected, top-quality ingredients! Everything was perfect ♥️ Thank you for your hospitality.

13/08/2025: The food was good, what I could eat! I regret not having eaten the rest of the order because I'm sure it would have been good too, but after waiting more than 40 minutes for my first course, I realized they'd forgotten, so I had an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses and a bowl of chickpeas. The location needs improvement! The service was kind, from the waiter and the owner, but that's not enough. You also need to deliver good service, and that's what's missing in my one experience, both due to the timing and the oversights. It's a shame because the cooked dishes are otherwise good.

13/08/2025: We don't know if we happened to be there on a bad night, but the staff was very agitated. That said, we expected excellent food based on the reviews, but that wasn't the case. Long story short, the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms tasted like a Mexican dish because of how spicy they were (since when does spicy go into a dish like that?) and then the pappardelle with wild boar, which, well, maybe the sauce was Barilla, and the tagliatelle were definitely not Barilla, but rather off-brand, I swear... and already pre-cooked. The Angus steak was the second course... it would have been... but we didn't have the chance to try it because we got up after a 40-minute wait. The reward of the evening (not as excellent culinary-wise as we understood it to be) were the local ladies outside enjoying the night, wonderful 🥰👋🏼

10/08/2025: Very good pastry shop; we ordered a Veneziana and two filled croissants. The filling was generous, the croissant dough was flavored just right, and the Veneziana was soft with a delicious yet delicate cream. The staff were very courteous, helpful (the croissants were filled freshly), and kind.

27/07/2025: The ladies who work there are very nice, the coffee is very good, and the pastries are delicious. I recommend the pistachio brioche!

17/06/2025: Coming from Udine, my family and I arrived at Chianni Bistrò thanks to the advice of a friend of mine. Never was advice more spot on! From the moment we were welcomed, the waiter made us feel at home and explained the preparation of each dish. Excellent typical Tuscan home cooking, fantastic food and wine (with an excellent quality/price ratio) in the beautiful village of Chianni. Compliments to Francesco, Gabriele, the cooks and all the staff. The next time I pass by these parts, it will definitely be a fixed stop! Highly recommended
