17/12/2024: The best ice cream in every sense! It's delicious and crueltyfree!!! In addition to the cones and snack cups (always plentiful), I also chose Kremmy ice cream for my birthday cake and my wedding cake. both were sensationally good and beautiful, richly decorated with brightly colored flowers and butterflies. A huge success! The guests were amazed that it was so good and above all vegan! Giada made us really happy! All the staff are very kind, the place is very cute, colorful and suitable for children, there are sheets and pencils for coloring and a bowl of water for hot furry friends. Highly recommended! But be careful: gianduia is addictive!!!

31/03/2025: già quando al momento dell'ingresso dovresti capire che devi scappare via anche per il solo aspetto del locale trasandato e sporco, e pei il pessimo odore di fritto e rifritto che ti resta poi appiccicato agli indumenti per lungo tempo anche dopo che sei volta uscito. all'interno della vetrina del piccolo bancone di preparazione dei panini si può vedere che i vari ingredienti utilizzati sono di scadente qualità come ad esempio maionese e ketchup di sotto marca Simply di Esselunga, per passare poi a qualche salume di altrettanto bassa qualità come lo speck a trancio in sottovuoto. il risultato finale sono dei panini di gusto e sapore meno che mediocre, venduti a 7.00 euro che sono un valore assolutamente esagerato rispetto alla qualità degli ingredienti. Valutazione meno uno.

17/03/2025: Immerso nel verde, circondato da freschi torrenti limpidi e boschi ombreggiati, si trova questo antico mulino ristrutturato con gusto e recupero di vecchi materiali. La sala è intima e invita a rilassarsi, mentre il personale ti accoglie con calore e mille attenzioni (non ultima, averci permesso di entrare con il nostro cagnolino). La casa propone alcuni menu-degustazione, ma noi abbiamo scelto di ordinare alla carta. L'antipasto toscano comprende crostini e salumi eccellenti provenienti dai propri allevamenti: io credo di aver gustato qui il più buon lardo di sempre. La fonduta di erborinato del Mugello su chips di fromenton 8 file è stata un'esplosione di sapore che difficilmente puoi trovare altrove. Poi abbiamo preso il fritto di pollo e coniglio: molto leggero e porzioni abbondanti, carne di animali allevati da loro, di cui apprezzi tutta la carne bella polposa e infine il contorno di uno sformato di cavolfiore (sempre dalla propria azienda agrituristica) davvero speciale. Per dolce ci sono state *offerte* delle originali e buonissime frittelle di San Giuseppe e ammazzacaffè. Interessante la cantina, con ottimi vini soprattutto della lucchesia e toscani. Escluso il vino, abbiamo speso 30€/persona. Non è la classica trattoria di campagna né il solito locale da fighetti. Di questo posto abbiamo apprezzato la qualità *assoluta* della materia prima ben sposata con la quantità: ci siamo alzati sazi, non appesantiti, e soprattutto appagati. Per noi era la prima volta in questo remoto paradiso di montagna ma torneremo di sicuro per provare il menu primaverile.

23/03/2025: Sono stata ieri sera, tutto molto buono, e finalmente un ristorante per noi intolleranti al lattosio! Menù molto chiaro, prodotti senza lattosio o naturalmente senza lattosio. Camerieri molto gentili e preparati. Bravi continuate così!

20/02/2025: Have you ever been served a whole fried shrimp skewered on a licorice stick? You have to chew it for a quarter of an hour and obviously you can't spit it out because you're in a starred restaurant but you feel like Fantozzi at the mega-directors' table. The famous oil ravioli? They are ravioli full of oil. Pasta cooked in potato broth? It tastes like earth. Beef tartare with potato peels on top? But couldn't you have put truffles instead of potato peels? The sweet served in the pizza box? To die of laughter... Everyone was nice and friendly and the evening was pleasant because my wife and I are gifted with self-irony, but the feeling of having been pleasantly perculated is clear

09/02/2025: EXTRAORDINARY! The restaurant is set in a wonderful context adjacent to the walls of Lucca. Unique elegant magical city. A relaxing room with cheerful but not annoying background music. The choice of menu is personal, five, seven, nine courses, with wine pairings or just glasses. We chose the 7-stage route or journey with a glass of wine, asking to omit entrails from the menu. The chef created AMAZING dishes. We were greeted by friendly, cheerful and familiar staff. A gem for me were the choices of serving dishes, the tortelli with oil and parmesan on my grandmother's plate took me back home. All the people who work with chef Tomei really deserve many compliments. Well done everyone, we will definitely be back!

01/04/2025: The pizza is very good, thin and crunchy, and the place is nice. However, I found the price management not very transparent: the menu did not indicate the costs of drinks and desserts, and at the time of payment I was only provided with the total without the details of the individual items. This aspect leaves something to be desired in terms of clarity and transparency. It's a shame, because otherwise the experience was positive.

A place suitable for couples, families and groups. Some dishes are prepared in a wood-fired oven. The pizza is also good and is offered in some classic versions. Excellent value for money. Large outdoor parking. The road to get there is mountainous so it's best not to rush and be careful but it's worth it. Excellent value for money

06/02/2025: Delightful boutique hotel in the centre, near the church of San Frediano and the church of San Michele, in a quiet internal street. Each room has very beautiful paintings and has all the comforts. Good amenities in the bathroom, slippers present, safe. Very comfortable beds. Delicious, refined breakfast, possibility of having freshly squeezed orange juice, a beehive of honey and as much dried fruit as you want. All served with delicious plates and cups, a refined and elegant touch. Truly a gem of a hotel

19/01/2025: Hotel in an excellent location convenient to the historic center and close enough to the free parking just outside the walls. The map and the information they gave us upon our arrival were handy so we could orient ourselves better in the historic center. The room was spacious and the bathroom large. The bed was comfortable and the heating was excellent... we would have liked a couple of extra towels given that there was a hydromassage tub and a shower and the towels for the sink were made of cotton and not sponge and they got damp immediately! We had some problems with the bathtub taps, only the hand shower worked and had little pressure. Being a 4 star hotel which however has neither a restaurant nor a bar inside...we would have appreciated a kettle with 2 bags of tea or coffee available if not in the room at least in the breakfast counter...since it was cold in the evening We would have liked a hot drink...the staff told us that all we had to do was ask...but being a 4 star I thought it was available! The breakfast was very varied and plentiful with the possibility of making freshly squeezed orange juice! Usually in 4 star hotels there are 2 bottles of free water... they were there in the mini bar but they didn't know if they were free, there was no written information. With a little more attention I would have given 5 stars! P.S. I recommend renting bicycles and doing the entire route around the walls which are truly beautiful!
