10/05/2026: Wonderful restaurant, decorated like a small tavern with countless bottles.
Their strong point (for me) is definitely the stuffed crust pizza, incredible dough, and super-quality ingredients.
The restaurant area is also delicious, with its first and second courses.
In the summer, they also have a beautiful terrace with a view.
Highly recommended!

31/05/2026: There were five of us and we were greeted by an energetic young woman who took our orders.
Cake and eggplant, beer and water for everyone, and pizzas. Mine was excellent, and my companions also greatly appreciated everything.
I gave the low rating because after dessert and coffee, we were asked to leave, as they needed a table.
Is this a restaurant or a company cafeteria?
I would have justified such a request if it had been made at the time of booking. Had we known about the restaurant's needs beforehand, we would have made a different decision.
It's a shame, because otherwise it would have been a very high rating.
26/05/2026: Very nice, quiet place, next to the canal, with helpful and friendly staff. The pizza was good, but a bit too tomato-y for our taste. But still good. They make very interesting white pizzas.

01/04/2026: Excellent pizzeria just steps from my house, perhaps the best pizza I've ever had. The only downside is that they don't have Coca-Cola and the beers are industrial grade. The staff is friendly, but I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it's a dump.

01/01/2026: We've eaten dinner at this piadineria twice now and were thoroughly impressed both times. The piadine are freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The selection is varied, ranging from classic to creative, so there's truly something for everyone.
The staff is friendly and attentive.
In short: A piadineria you'll definitely want to return to.

12/07/2026: When talking about a pizza and giving an opinion after eating it, there's a lot of subjectivity regarding the dough, whether it's thin or thick, the crust or not, the mozzarella, the tomato, and ultimately, digestibility.
In my opinion, and having eaten thousands of pizzas, I found this to be an EXCELLENT pizza: excellent dough, very flavorful, well-cooked to the right degree, and last but not least, cooked in a wood-fired oven, where, contrary to what you might think, the temperature constantly fluctuates. In an electric oven, however, it remains almost constant, which is what makes for a good, digestible pizza.

29/04/2026: I had dinner at this place because I'm a truck driver and I stopped there for the night. I have to say that I ate really well and spent little. For €38 I had a first course of pappardelle with mushrooms and sausage, a second course of chicken cacciatore with a side of potatoes and a veal cutlet with mushrooms, 2 beers, a bitter and a dessert! The girl was very kind and friendly, as was all the kitchen staff. An experience to be repeated, I would say I recommend it.

Delicious ice cream, and the Modica chocolate is a must-try. The granita is also very good.
24/07/2026: High quality Italian ice cream in a traditional serving bowl. Friendly service from the waiter, real Italian atmosphere. We ordered 3 flavors in a medium sized glass, which was plenty for one person. It was 3 euros per glass.

However, they no longer offer gluten-free pizza and pasta.
Instead, for gluten-free (and other) food, I recommend L'Angolo del Gusto in Vada.

27/06/2026: Outrageous prices!!!! The food was awful, all in all a disappointment... it was much better in years past. They're really taking advantage of the tourists... unfortunately, they're forced to because there's little to nothing in the area, unless you want to get around by car. Shame!

15/07/2026: Wonderful place with an attached farm and fantastic views. The cheese and ice cream are made from their own goats. Excellent grilled meat!
14/07/2026: A small agriturismo in the hills overlooking Elba Island. Dinner is a fixed menu featuring exquisite meat and local produce. The table is very simple, but the view is priceless and the service is friendly. Highly recommended!
