14/12/2025: A while back, the hotel I was staying at had a special agreement with them. While I was eating, I looked at the pizza oven, which was still blazing hot, and I saw the pizza chef, wearing gloves, working on the pizzas. He was running his hands through his hair, sweating and scrunching it up several times, then he went back to working on the pizzas without a problem! I got up, left, and never came back!

31/08/2025: The history of fast food is brewery in Cecina. If you've never been, it's because you're a tourist or a traveler passing through, in which case, stop by. Excellent sandwiches. Very good and varied dishes. Always friendly and courteous.

28/08/2025: We stopped at this place before leaving for Sardinia. We discovered it by chance. It's very easy to get to from the SS. Good food, very good service. Nice location. It's a shame about the lemon sorbet...not good. We ordered two cacciucchi, which were good. Good value.

02/08/2025: We ate here two years ago for dinner and had a great time...it was the same this time, both for the light-crust pizzas and for my gnocchi with sea bream sauce, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan flakes.

07/10/2025: A well-stocked bar, but the coffees are the highlight! Perhaps one of the only places in Livorno that serves specialty coffee. I attended a class on the sensory analysis of coffee, and it was a very informative and fun two hours. A great starting point for exploring the world of coffee!

23/12/2025: I'm a loyal customer of Caprilli Gelateria, particularly appreciating the quality of their ingredients and the intense, natural flavors of their products. However, I'd like to point out a sore point regarding their Viale Italia location: the rude, inappropriate, and disrespectful attitude of one of their clerks/pastry chefs. Yesterday, I went to the store to buy a treat for myself and my one-year-old daughter. Before leaving, the little girl touched, without harming in any way, an orchid plant on one of the counters: "All hell breaks loose!" In front of the rest of the customers, the aforementioned individual, with a punitive and resentful tone, severely admonished us. I was frankly shocked and speechless by this person's disproportionate and absurd behavior. Especially considering that she's a child and that such a tone was directed at customers who respect people, animals, and plants. Speaking of animals... I also found the presence of a dog—I believe the gentleman's—loitering behind the counter, near the pastry shop, out of place. That said, I will definitely avoid the shop in question, especially since eating ice cream should be a pleasure, not a potential source of arguments and tension with stressed people.

The excellent management is evident in every detail, from the friendly atmosphere to the attentive and helpful service. The menu offers an excellent selection of both meat and fish, with well-crafted and carefully prepared dishes. The portions are generous, and the value for money is absolutely right. An ideal place for a quiet dinner with friends!

28/10/2025: Charming restaurant with a terrace overlooking the sea. The only flaw is that the menu is almost exclusively fish-based, with very little choice for non-fish eaters. Otherwise, it's worth it.

01/01/2026: We've eaten dinner at this piadineria twice now and were thoroughly impressed both times. The piadine are freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The selection is varied, ranging from classic to creative, so there's truly something for everyone. The staff is friendly and attentive. In short: A piadineria you'll definitely want to return to.

25/10/2025: A well-kept setting with ancient rustic walls and vaults, a large social table ideal for those dining alone or in a group... fast and punctual service... the quality of the ingredients is good, and the schiacciata is delicious, in fact, the only dish on the menu in its many variations. They are served assembled or deconstructed on a platter... definitely worth trying the different variations.
