As tourists, we'll miss it so much, as it helped us create one of the best gastronomic memories of Sicily. If we return to the area in the future, we'll definitely be back. Excellent! SUPERLATIVE!

03/08/2026: We had chicken and fries. The chicken was a bit dry, the fries were croquette-like, and the panelle were practically inedible. The salmon was watered down. Three stars out of respect for those who run the business, which could use some improvement in terms of quality. Worth trying again.

16/07/2026: During my wife and I'd had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant located at the port of Castellammare del Golfo. What a perfect choice! Everything was perfect, from the service to the dishes. Starting with the appetizer, a delicious octopus carpaccio with vegetables. Then we moved on to two first courses: busiate del cumpà, a house specialty with a truly exquisite shellfish ragù; and my wife's choice, spaghetti with zucchini and tuna pesto, truly exceptional. Finally, dessert was a delight. The Bacio Pantesco and almond parfait, both EXCEPTIONAL. A must-try if you're in Castellammare.

15/07/2026: We spent a wonderful evening at Cumpa restaurant. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every dish was prepared with great care and quality: truly special, with unforgettable flavors. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always available, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. Excellent service, thanks to Dario and Antonio, always professional and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant, perfect for enjoying an excellent dinner in peace. Kudos to all the staff: we will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent seafood in a welcoming atmosphere.

31/05/2026: The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is lovely. However, the food was extremely salty. We ate here two evenings in a row and tried several different dishes, but unfortunately we couldn’t really enjoy the food because everything tasted overwhelmingly salty. At times, it felt like we were eating salt rather than the dishes themselves.

09/08/2026: Got off to a bad start, lunch for two on a hot August day, the restaurant was not full, we could see two empty 2 person tables but we’re made to wait 5 minutes before being invited to the table. Then another 10 minutes to be given a menu! Another 20 minutes, after asking twice, we finally got some water and placed our order. Asked aqua con gas but got still mineral water. Bread was old and served initially without olive oil, grisini in plastic, but the beer was cold. After almost an hour our first food arrived and so the real test. Hmm , well just OK. My grilled squid was plain and a bit chewy. French fries almost perfect. My wife’s Palermo style veal steak was so oily that the bread crumbs did not stick but just fell off. In relation to atmosphere, very noisy, a lot of echo from others talking, so much so that we had to raise our voices to talk to each other. All in all not a great experience.

07/08/2026: The four of us (two adults and two children) had lunch at "La Locanda di nonna Ciccia" before visiting the Temple of Segesta, just a 10-minute drive away. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. The location is strategic: the restaurant is located at the entrance to Calatafimi, very convenient for those visiting the archaeological park. The atmosphere is clean, tidy, and welcoming. Table service is prompt, and the staff was very clear and thorough in explaining the dishes. Special mention goes to the owner, who was extremely attentive and helpful. The value for money was excellent: we spent about €80 total for a mixed antipasto to share (with excellent panelle, arancini, and mint-flavored potato croquettes), four quality first courses, and a delicious and highly recommended dessert (a Marsala parfait, the chef's variation). Among the additional conveniences, I'd like to point out the free and easy-to-find street parking right in front of the restaurant, as well as the in-house Wi-Fi. Highly recommended for a tasty and stress-free stop!

04/07/2026: Fantastic seafood. Everything was very fresh and beautifully presented. The pasta was of good quality, well presented and seasoned. Reservations are recommended, but we luckily managed without one.

08/05/2026: We spent 3 nights here and had 3 dinners. The room was comfortable and clean. We booked the sea view room based on another review and glad we did. The dinner service was slightly inconsistent but overall very good. I highly recommend buying some olive oil - it's the best I've had o In a long while. Easy to get to Marsala and Trapani. The pool was still a bit cold too enjoy but we spent an enjoyable morning reading on the loungers.

16/07/2026: A very sweet and hearty breakfast featuring ricotta and pistachios, all fresh. The creamy lobster tail was also very satisfying. The coffee isn't their strong point; it was quite sour. But overall, I'd return for breakfast or a small pastry to take to the waterfront after dinner.
