21/10/2025: Palermo truly has some gastronomic gems within reach... and Verdechiaro is certainly one of them, a gem for those who love vegetarian and vegan cuisine, with creative dishes and the freshest ingredients. I'm not that lucky, and to go there—at least once a year, during the long-awaited holidays—we have to activate the usual plan: "organize the holiday in a certain way" to have a valid excuse to stop in Palermo, at Via Alessi 40! This year, the excuse was a wedding in Marsala. The location is always elegant, with attention to the smallest details. The dishes seemed even more refined and elaborate than usual: the "Umami" pasta dish, for example, deserves a special award. The staff is, as always, extremely kind and professional. We went with a couple of friends who couldn't help but confirm every word of enthusiasm we'd spent describing it. If we made such a great impression, it's all thanks to Verdechiaro. Thank you so much!

20/10/2025: Dining at Verdechiaro Restaurant was a true culinary experience. An explosion of colors and flavors accompanied each course, making lunch a unique sensory journey. Great care was taken in selecting the ingredients, expertly balanced. A true delight for those who love good food, meticulously prepared and elegantly presented. The wine cellar is also excellent, with a wide, quality selection. The service is a strong point: the staff is extremely kind, attentive, and always available. They accommodated us in every way, making lunch even more enjoyable. ✅ If you're in Palermo, you can't miss this magnificent gastronomic experience. Highly recommended!

10/11/2025: This review is about the restaurant. We visited Casale Drinzi for lunch for the second time on Saturday, after having been there for dinner two years ago. It met my expectations with fast and friendly service. This time, we had a little girl just under two years old with us, who was promptly offered a high chair and a pasta dish with tomato sauce. We had two appetizers (carpaccio of picana and fried mushrooms with mayonnaise and truffle), two first courses (ravioli with pumpkin and artichoke cream, and a cacio e pepe with truffle). We then shared a second course (pork with herbs). A glass of wine each, plus water, liqueur, and coffee. All for €83. Everything was delicious; now I can't wait to return for the spring menu! The place is also easy to find, except that Google Maps, as usual, makes things a little complicated.

07/11/2025: Friendly and professional staff, a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, and delicious food featuring typical Collesano specialties made with quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Great attention to food intolerances: the waiters ask each table if anyone has any allergies. The wine selection is delightful: a house-bottled Nero d'Avola that has obtained the DOC (Controlled Designation of Origin) label, soooo good! Kudos to the owners for opening this wonderful pizzeria/restaurant. I highly recommend it; you'll thank me later!

08/11/2025: This is truly the best restaurant in Castelbuono! The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors. The service was outstanding — our waiter Andrea was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even the chef, Fabrizio, came out to explain the dishes personally, which made the experience even more special. Thank you Sandro 😇!!

31/10/2025: Great wine, chilled red (rossato), a the female staff was really warm and welcoming and helped me with my wine choice so I came back the next day - some staff are more tolerant of English speakers than others.

19/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it ended up being our favorite spot of the whole trip! The vibe was incredible — there was an after-work crowd across the street, every table was full, cars could barely get through — it was chaotic in the best way. We each had a Negroni and then a lager, both great. The atmosphere was so lively and local, and there were even families with kids, so it felt really welcoming. Highly recommend for the amazing ambiance and energy — you won’t regret it!

02/11/2025: Excellent sandwiches, experienced, and courteous customer service. A typical sandwich shop, no frills, focused directly on customer satisfaction. There are only a few tables, so you won't have to wait long; it's a good idea and recommended. You can't always have everything in life.

06/10/2025: One of the best, if not the best, ice cream I've ever had. A huge selection of flavors, several toppings to choose from, the option to top it with white or dark chocolate, or whipped cream, cones with sprinkles or chocolate—it's simply an ice cream extravaganza 😀. A very large portion for 3 euros, and you can mix two flavors. There's also a version in a brochette—ice cream in a roll. Very friendly service. It's just a shame they don't ship to Poland 😉 I recommend it!!

12/10/2025: We spent a wonderful evening at Alibi Restaurant, enjoying excellent food and truly surprising combinations of flavors and textures. Each dish exuded care, passion, and originality, yet at the same time, we felt welcomed and at home: a rare balance between refinement and human warmth. The staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, attentive to our needs and offering advice that fully respected our tastes. One aspect that particularly impressed us was the great attention to dietary requirements: my partner, who is celiac, was able to enjoy the same dishes in a gluten-free version, completely safely and with the utmost care. An experience that combines haute cuisine, authentic hospitality, and impeccable professionalism. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for a special dinner in a refined and authentic setting.

12/10/2025: Fantastic fish menu—the best meal we had in Palermo and Cefalu in eight days. Today was the second time in a week we were here to eat exactly the same thing again: spada involtini, fish crudite, langoustine pasta with red gamberi, and tonno tagliata. Then we had pistachio cream with a great Marsala and a Grillo to finish the meal... it couldn't be better. Plus, the beautiful ambiance in the courtyard and the super-friendly staff... TOP!

02/11/2025: I happened upon it during lunchtime and stopped in. The place was welcoming and very clean, the staff was polite, attentive, and never intrusive. I ordered a portion of Tuma Cunzata, which was truly delicious—very crunchy and generous. I couldn't finish it, and I could taste it as if it had been fried in clean oil. Hats off! Afterward, I ordered spaghetti with clams, and, despite the fact that they served fresh tonnarelli (and they should have made that clear already), the pasta was cooked incorrectly. The tonnarelli stuck to my teeth, which was incredibly annoying. Worst of all, the pasta was incredibly salty. I know pasta with clams is a tasty dish, but this was so salty it made me want to drink every bite. I hope you take this review as a reason to be careful, not a negative.

You receive a „surprise menu“, carefully curated and each dish was delicious, using regional products (e.g. hand picked mushrooms from the mountains around) or from their own farm. You can feel the love in every bite, and the owner passionately explains every product. As we are hiking from village to village we were initially afraid of it’s too fancy and can’t go in our casual clothes. Yet, it has such a warm vibe and we felt perfectly at ease. Really a dinner to remember and prices were super fair as well.
