17/02/2026: A restaurant nestled in the rock, on the top of a hill adorned with the ruins of a tower. At a table near the fireplace, the very kind chef serves me delicious dishes. A real treat after a day at work.
05/10/2025: We had a delicious meal here today. Very friendly owners who radiate joy and hospitality.
The food was excellent. The mixed antipasti was especially fantastic.
We'll be back tomorrow.

17/02/2026: Today, my partner, two friends, and I decided to eat at this wonderful place located in a narrow alley in Orsara di Puglia. The staff was immediately friendly and courteous, welcoming us with a warm smile. As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed this very characteristic and unique ancient bakery, where the owner's son explained to us a bit about its history. As soon as we were seated, we were served many traditional dishes that were nothing short of spectacular... I will definitely be back and I recommend everyone to have this wonderful experience, visiting this ancient bakery and especially tasting their dishes. Congratulations to all the staff.

20/09/2025: The setting is immersed in a wonderful area...dinner was eaten in the garden of the property, the food was delicious and the waiter was excellently polite and professional.
16/09/2025: Fixed-price menu for โฌ40 per person. A generous and delicious round of appetizers will fill you up. Two very good first courses. The grilled meat was decent. Dessert was a complete flop; a simple tart (as stated on the menu) would have been better than that inedible (and commercial, I'd say) panna cotta. Eating outside in the olive grove was wonderful. It's a shame about the rude customers who smoke while eating; it would be polite for the staff to prohibit smoking while people are dining. The service is very informal; no one explains what they're bringing you or what you're eating.

29/11/2025: What can I say? It was divine. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the dishes are beautifully prepared. We had cardoncelli mushrooms (outstanding) and culatello for appetizers. For our first course, we had lorighittas with sheep's milk ragรน and fregola with cheese, melon, and truffle. Guys, it was amazing, a 10! Next, we shared the braised goat meat; we didn't even need a knife. The house cake was delicious! Good luck, guys: I know you're hidden away, but then again, gems are hard to find!
We'll definitely be back.
17/11/2025: The place, the staff, the wonderful food. You feel pampered, but with great professionalism. The dishes are a revisitation of our typical dishes, reworked with great skill. The price is in line with what's offered. 10 out of 10.

03/03/2026: At Pummarella, you can enjoy excellent pizzas served at the counter or classic plated dishes. The dough is good, parking is a bit difficult, but otherwise, I recommend it.

12/02/2026: We booked for dinner, intrigued by the good reputation the restaurant has built over the years. Expectations were certainly met, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the courteous, prompt service. The appetizers, made with local ingredients, were very good, while all the pizzas we ordered were excellently made, well-seasoned, and easy to digest. Last but not least, excellent value for money. Just one note: on these winter evenings, it would be nice to have a little more heat in the dining room, given the size of the place. Otherwise, highly recommended. We'll be back!
31/01/2026: We returned to this pizzeria after five years and were thrilled. The quality of the food and service was already excellent, but now it's reached even higher levels. Spectacular pizza with the option of choosing between classic dough with a minimum 48-hour leavening time, a sourdough dough with whole-wheat flours, sourdough starter, and a minimum 72-hour leavening time, or a multigrain dough with a 48-hour leavening time. The choice to emphasize dishes with locally sourced ingredients highlights the owner's meticulous attention to food quality and his love for his homeland. It's a must-try for anyone passing through and a must-try for those who live in the area. TOP! ๐๐๐บ๐ป
