19/06/2025: Beautiful place. Beautiful and tidy beach as well as clean. The only thing I didn't find fair is that with the price of the umbrella with sunbed and deckchair, which is still high (June 25 €) you have to pay to rinse your feet. Excessive. For the rest, everything tidy and professional staff.

Lido Macchia, located in the splendid town of Mattinata, offers an authentic experience, perfect for those seeking relaxation, breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality. The structure is cared for down to the smallest details, with well-spaced umbrellas, comfortable sunbeds and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is friendly, always available and attentive to the needs of guests. The sea is simply enchanting: transparent water, sloping seabed and a view that embraces the Gargano coast. The bar and restaurant service is also excellent, with simple but tasty dishes, ideal for a lunch break with a sea view. The location of the lido, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, gives a sense of intimacy and connection with nature. Ideal for families, couples or anyone who wants to regenerate away from the confusion. A pearl of the Gargano to experience and recommend!

31/07/2025: We visited this pizzeria for a dinner with relatives. When it was time to serve, we noticed that the pizzas hadn't been cut. We informed the staff, and with great professionalism, they immediately offered to take them back, cut them, and bring them back to us without any delay, perfectly piping hot. At the end of the meal, they also offered us a complimentary sip of liqueur, a simple but much appreciated gesture that demonstrates customer service and attention to detail. The pizza was good, with a light, well-cooked crust. The service was quick and courteous. I highly recommend this place, also for its welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff.

25/07/2025: Nulla di che. Direi, decisamente nella media. Per fortuna che ad un certo orario chiudono la strada. Il menù propone panini e pizza. I prezzi sono contenuti. Adatto a gruppi numerosi

05/07/2025: We booked for the first time in this restaurant, what can I say, from the welcome to the end, we had a great time 😉 clean place, welcoming staff and excellent traditional Salento dishes 😋 very good quality and price ratio, we took the house appetizer for 2 abundant and good and then we moved on to the second courses, grilled bombette really excellent and off the menu there was the octopus in pignatta 😋 very good. We will return. I recommend it 😉😋

16/06/2025: All the staff were very kind and particularly attentive to the needs of celiac customers like me. The stools for short people were a little uncomfortable.

29/07/2025: We didn't stay overnight but came for dinner. It was beautiful 35euro for a 4 course meal and we were so full by the end we could barely finish. Fabulous service and almost felt like a home away from home. Grazie

05/05/2025: I had a wonderful time here with my boyfriend. We went to destress over a lovely meal and I thoroughly enjoyed mine. $20 for a smashed avo is generally a great price these days. While I did only have one slice, the toppings did a good job of satiating me perfectly. The balsamic on the plate was just the perfect amount, and came with some poached egg, grilled tomato and fresh avocado on sourdough. I opted for some bacon and caramelised onion which did cost extra but was worth it. They complimented it perfectly. I also had a chai milkshake which I went into not expecting it to be anything too special (chai has been a hit or miss at most places I've been) but it was so flavourful and delicious, it really had a great consistency and a decent size as well. My boyfriend had the chicken schnitzel and chips, opting for no salad and some gravy. While I will admit the gravy was rather small (I'd opt for 2 in future), it had a good flavour, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the chips had a lovely crunch to them that I haven't experienced elsewhere in quite some time. Our server was a lovely young waitress, Amelia, and I want to compliment on her service. We were greeted immediately upon entering, provided a booth with menus and she gave us the perfect amount of time to decide. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my time and will definitely return in future!

04/08/2025: Pesce freschissimo servito in ottica di tradizione Pugliese, pecorino assieme alle cozze, cruditè di alto livello e gentilezza del personale hanno reso questa un’esperienza ottima. Sicuramente un posto deve tornare quando saremo nella splendida Monopoli.

29/07/2025: By the port, great views, but disappointing food and service. Unwelcoming, we went in smiling and greeting the waiters before mentioning we had a reservation, the waiters — cross-armed and passive, did not even bother to say good evening. The bread served: stale and hard. When taking the order, the waiter barely spoke (not because he was incompetent in english, but simply, by choice.) The food on the other hand, very mediocre. Ordered the Tuna Carpaccio, uneven slices and wasn’t great fish (overly fishy). Also had the calamarata pasta and the seafood cavatelli pasta. The cavatelli was way too salty and one of the worse ones we’ve had on the trip, and the calamarata pasta was overly chewy and slightly undercooked. The monkfish ragout was thick and lacked flavour. The most disappointing experience on our Puglia trip so far, shame it was also our last night in Monopoli. Go somewhere else where the waiters actually have interest in serving and the food meets the standard of what the restaurant portrays.

15/07/2025: Excellent place for panzerotti and focaccia. The products are all delicious, made with the highest-quality ingredients. There's usually a long line, so you'll have to wait at least 15-20 minutes. I highly recommend everyone try it.

29/07/2025: Pasticceria di alto livello, i cupcakes sono pazzeschi e seppur molto zuccherati per niente stucchevoli. Ce ne sono di tutti i gusti, ma il migliore per me resta quello alla red velvet. Sicuramente ritornerò

25/06/2025: Matcha literally tastes like sugar. I wouldn't recommend it. You can tell by the color it's bad. I guess the bartenders know this, because when I ordered it, they laughed in my face. My dad ordered lemonade, which was good, and my mom ordered a coffee, which was also delicious! In total, we paid 9.50 for the three items. The place is very cool and has a good atmosphere.
