Per turisti e locali che vogliono mangiare bene ma non turistico per la massa. Prezzi perfettamente in linea con la qualità e il piacere che offrono. Carta dei vini molto ricercata ma assolutamente non costosa

30/06/2025: Siamo tornati pochi giorni fa in questo ristorante, scoperto un po’ per caso la scorsa estate passeggiando per Grottaglie e, da allora, punto di riferimento gastronomico della zona. Tuttavia, l’ultima cena è stata talmente superlativa da superare i nostri ricordi e da indurmi a scrivere questa recensione : antipasto con tagliatelle di seppia crude, maltagliati al nero di seppia con stracciatella e gamberi rossi per la mia ragazza e spaghetti alla chitarra con ricci di mare e cozza fritte per me (il miglior piatto coi ricci di mare mai mangiato in vita mia); per secondo, lumachine di terra. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo rosato, dalla cortesia dei camerieri e dall’atmosfera magica del locale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

The service is friendly and fast, with staff always ready to recommend the craft beer or cocktail best suited to the customer's tastes. The rustic furnishings, with warm details and soft lights, help to create an ideal environment both for an evening with friends and for a moment of relaxation as a couple. The selection of beers is wide and well curated, accompanied by a menu of simple but tasty dishes, perfect for a snack or an informal dinner. I highly recommend trying their burgers, club sandwiches and burritos. An ideal place for those looking for an authentic pub, where they always feel at home.

But let's get to the food: this is where Ristodante really shines. We started with some appetizers that were a real riot of fresh flavors and high-quality ingredients. Then, we tried both the restaurant dishes and the pizzas, and we were amazed by the mastery with which each dish is prepared. The pizza is undoubtedly among the best I have ever tasted: light dough, very fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The restaurant dishes, on the other hand, offer a touch of innovation while maintaining a strong link with culinary tradition. Every bite is a delight! The service is impeccable: the staff is attentive, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They make you feel at home, but with the professionalism of a high-level venue. They were excellent in recommending the right dishes and wines to accompany our dinner. In short, Il Ristodante is a rare gem. If you are looking for a place to enjoy excellent food, a fantastic atmosphere and impeccable service, look no further. I can't wait to go back!

30/07/2025: Ice cream here is nice (if anything a bit too sweet) and we stopped by several times in different days. The reason for the three stars is because of the lady at the till who told me I should not use a card to pay for a coffee, because of the low amount. Not only this is not legal in Italy to my knowledge, but any card fee is a frictional cost that businesses charge back to customers, so it should not represent a problem. Further point is that the lady was still unhappy after I told her that the coffee was following an 18 euros order I had just finished consuming. So, you’re welcome to go there and enjoy an ice cream, but be mindful about how you might be treated at the money of paying
