24/09/2025: We ate here, already knowing the owners and their historic sister restaurant in Sant'Angelo Lodigiano, and we also ate here after playing at a wedding. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts were truly delicious, and the owners (Sabrina and the others) were kind and helpful.

12/07/2025: While walking along Strada Nuova and needing a quick breakfast, I came across this bakery's window display and, inspired by the variety of products, decided to give it a try, since they also have a café. I must say, I wasn't disappointed: while it's true that they offer standard baked croissants, I also find breakfast for just €3 more than reasonable. Furthermore, the staff was among the friendliest and most approachable I've ever encountered in Pavia, a detail that made the overall experience even more enjoyable. I already knew I'd be pleased with the service as soon as I ordered, since the lady serving me was so kind as to ask if I'd like a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa on my cappuccino. I rarely get asked this question, which, in its simplicity, shows great customer care. The cappuccino was delicious, by the way, with a particularly rich foam, as it should be. It was also lovely to listen to the conversations between the female staff and the regulars; They created a pleasant break that felt like home. In short, even in the rush of the day, I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied by this brief experience.

27/01/2026: For 3 mornings (Sat, Sun and Monday) we went for breakfast at the Demetrio pastry shop and I can only speak highly of it: fast service, top-quality coffee and leavened products and a welcoming atmosphere, highly recommended.

01/12/2025: The place was disgusting, and the pizza was probably mediocre and the toppings disgusting, but the clothes were awful. There were two pizza chefs. One was young, but polite. He wore clean white clothes. He was probably new to the place. He had a smiling face and looked young, not twenty-something. The other was thin, with a beard and long hair down to his chin. He wasn't a suitable pizza chef. In fact, his clothes, his pizza-making technique, and the way he was treated were inhuman. He had an ugly face when he was angry. I think his name was [Mustafa]. He wasn't a suitable assistant because of his clothes. There was me, very mean. my husband and my eight-year-old daughter. And there was Camirara, a polite and attractive young man, cleanly dressed and very polite. He served us calmly... Unfortunately, we never saw each other again.

26/01/2026: Worst restaurant in Pavia, minimal portions of 6 ravioli in cash, between the first and second course there is a delay of an hour/40 minutes if you're lucky, rude staff, unsightly location, never again, I'd rather die of hunger

26/12/2025: They deserve to stay open on December 26th. And that's it. Twenty-five minutes after we ordered (1 coffee and 1 juice), they didn't bring anything. I asked again, but nothing. We left.

17/12/2025: The drinks are often well-made, but the manager (I think) is unspeakable. I get to the cash register and ask if we can split the bill; he nods his head as if to agree. He points to the drinks I've had, and I tell him which one I've had, and he brings the POS terminal closer to me. As soon as he hears the sound of payment being processed, he asks, "Single bill, right?" He clearly did this on purpose because he didn't feel like splitting the bill, or somehow. His general attitude is also incredibly annoying. Because of this, I'll never go there again.
