12/08/2024: Best experience in Bellagio is a coffee on the terrace. Drink in the best view of the lake. Friendly staff, classy and relaxing.

07/08/2024: The Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is a comfortingly expensive, extremely high quality and luxurious hotel which is reflected across all public spaces and bedrooms with excellent attention to detail and cleanliness. Simply walking in to the hotel grounds from the rest of Bellagio makes you feel like a king amongst kings. Breakfast is an extravaganza of food, with something for everyone (including a cheeky glass of fizz). The restaurants serve very high quality tasty food that should be sampled at least once. The pool and beach area are very well attended. The hotel's positioning within Bellagio itself is brilliant - out of the way of the 'day-trippers' but central enough to easily pick up a ferry, go shopping or grab something to eat. What really sets the hotel apart is the staff, who are incredibly friendly, attentive and professional at all times and can't do enough to help. Personally, I'm happy for a little more informality once the staff get to know guests, but that may just be my preference. The only minor criticism I do have is that service did tend to wane when large groups or higher worth individuals were present, and we felt a little 'second class'. Special mention does need to be given to the following staff members who stood head and shoulders above everyone else for their friendliness and helpfulness, and made our holiday better for it: - Alice: As a fellow vegan, she helped me navigate the breakfast options on my first day which allayed my fears of starving for a week, and meant I eat like a king. She was always very friendly and even popped over half way through the week to ask how we were. - Maddalena: Always extremely friendly and welcoming every time I saw her, with a massive smile! She would always go out of her way to come over and stop for a chat, showing interest in us and what we'd been doing, and offer suggestions. Always a pleasure to speak to her. - Annabel: She had a permanent smile, bubbly personality and warm and friendly demeanour everywhere we saw her (which seemed to be in every department!). - Ilya: Despite his relative young age to the other waiting staff, he stood out as incredibly diligent, professional and friendly, even predicting my needs! It was genuinely a delight getting to know him, and he (as well as the owners of the GHVS and his managers) should be extremely proud of himself. He's doing an amazing job.

25/08/2024: A fantastic restaurant experience from start to finish. I booked a table 3 weeks in advance for a Tuesday evening and I am pleased I did as it was quite busy. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to sit outside or inside - we opted for inside as there was a wedding taking place in the grounds of the hotel next door and the music was quite loud. Inside we had a lovely quiet table tucked away from any other diners. We were offered an aperitiv and snacks first which kicked the whole meal off in fine style! The chef’s welcome dish followed then we started on our 7 course tasting menu. Every dish was exceptional! We opted for that wine pairings which were presented by the sommelier who really knew his stuff - he even chatted to us about English wines. After the 7 courses we were then presented with 4 delicious ‘sweets’ which finished everything off. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Overall a wonderful meal which we won’t forget.

18/07/2024: I came to Como from a 4-hour trip outside of lunch hours (3:00 p.m.) and a girl recommended it to me because I was going to be able to eat. God, the freshly made piadinas are delicious and for dessert, a pistachio cannoli...spectacular. The attention of Mario and the girl who was also excellent. Thank you. I recommend it

29/08/2024: We were only in Brunate for one night, but we will not forget the lovely people from here! Delicious food and friendly service from all employees. The homemade limoncello is also highly recommended :)

28/08/2024: It was good but once. Overall it was okay but it's hard to explain. Depending on individual tastes. For the restoration, it is to be reviewed by the owner. Blah blah. Wine, too.

06/08/2024: Conosco questo Ristorate da circa 44 anni, diverse ricorrenze di mio figlio piccolo sono state celebrate alla Scaletta, nonostante questo non sono certo di avere ma lasciato una recensione. Conosco il locale da ancora prima della sapiente ristrutturazione fatta ormai tanti anni fa. I titolari sono ancora in attività ma affiancati oggi, in sala ed i cucina, dai figli. Il locale è sempre molto curato e dall'atmosfera molto accogliente. Da qualche anno sono state aggiungiunte anche alcume camere. La cucina è molto cresciuta, piatti molto curati e prozioni generose. Servizio in sala impeccabile nei tempi e nei modi. Conto adeguato alla qualità offerta. Una riconferma.

21/07/2024: Original venue, both in terms of menu layout, with very interesting themed evenings and fixed menus which can be consulted on the website well in advance of the dates. very characteristic is the way in which the menu is "literally" narrated to all customers by the friendly host, highly recommended

21/08/2024: An excellent culinary experience, cradled by excellent service, very attentive and well looked after in every detail. The Sardinian chef and the Sicilian sous chef bring their tradition to expertly prepared dishes of the highest quality and goodness. Nice to know that just a stone's throw from Lugano you can have this fine dining experience. Thanks to all the staff.

03/08/2024: Arrivati all'hotel Parco San Marco, alla reception siamo stati accolti con tanta gentilezza e con dei sorrisi sinceri. Siamo stati subito accompagnati al ristorante La Musa, dove anche lì siamo stati accolti con altrettanta gentilezza. Abbiamo scelto il percorso degustazione da 12 portate. Una vera meraviglia!! Ogni piatto era delizioso e sorprendente! Non una cena... una vera esperienza!! Gusti ed emozioni! Il servizio è stato perfetto! Servito e spiegato in modo impeccabile da uno staff super preparato, attento e molto simpatico! Ci siamo sentiti cioccolati da tutti in ogni momento. Inoltre abbiamo avuto la fortuna di godere di una bellissima serata e sulla terrazza c'era un'atmosfera magica! E anche il prezzo è stato perfettamente coerente. Quindi che dire... da ripetere e da consigliare!!!! Grazie a tutte e tutti!! E veramente ancora complimenti!!!

13/07/2024: Excellent burger and generous salad accompanied by focaccia, delicious pistachio cheesecake, and a nice idea to serve coffee with gummy sweets!! Very kind staff and beautiful location. We will be back 😍

25/08/2024: Delicious pistachio ice cream (the tastiest we've had so far). small queue but it's worth it. Price okay for Italy at this place. The other flavors (dark chocolate and wild berries) were also delicious.

25/08/2024: Merita la sosta in questa gelateria. Pochi gusti, ma davvero buoni. Il gusto nocciola IGP straordinario, anche la crema ai fichi, anche se quest'ultima copriva un po i fichi. Fresco e genuino. Ragazze molto gentili, posto pulito.

21/07/2024: Great little restaurant, with really delicious and down-to-earth local dishes. The staff is extremely nice and explains the menu very well, even for non-Italian speaking guests. Also a very good wine and beer selection.

07/08/2024: Variety of bread, but also pizzas, panzerotti and various parcels for lunch. Various types of croissants and desserts excellent for breakfast. Average prices. Overall recommended place

23/07/2024: In this small family-run bakery you will find the best bread in Como (which does not dry out the next day), the kindness and the ever-present smile of the shop assistants. The pastries and biscuits are also good but the highlight is the bread.
