05/08/2025: Excellent pizza by the slice, top-quality ingredients, and incredibly friendly staff. A regular Saturday night spot.

13/08/2025: I visited this trattoria "Ristoro" in Caslino d'Erba again with a group of friends, and everyone was completely satisfied: the paccheri allo scoglio were exquisite, with a very balanced flavor; the grilled fish was sublime; the fried lake fish had an authentic and unforgettable flavor; and the swordfish carpaccio was delicious. A word about the desserts is a must: the corn cake with apples and figs, the torta paesana, and the chocolate salami were delicious. The result was that everyone enjoyed every course. The prices are definitely fair for the quality of the food. The service was simple, attentive, and very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth trying and frequenting! We'll definitely be back!

10/08/2025: Had the most wonderful lunch at Bar Trattoria Ristoro! We got the Pizzoccheri and Tagliatelle ai Porcini, which were delightful and freshly made! Then the desert came and we got the forest cake, apple and fig polenta and lemon sorbet which were all heavenly! The forest cake and polenta were melting in our mouth and so flavour! Could not get enough of it! Thank you very much for the lovely staff and amazing chef! The waitress was so lovely and helpful! A must visit place! 😍Grazie mille!

09/08/2025: We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and left at 9:30 p.m. due to the slowness of the kitchen... even though there were only two of us and we had ordered two pasta dishes and a pizza to share. My carbonara was excessively peppery, and it was way too hot in the dining room (it was sweaty, which didn't help the wait). The pizza, on the other hand, was very good. The waitress was friendly, but we were still ripped off on the final receipt, with no goodwill gesture for the wait or the heat! €60 for two is too expensive (and again, more than we were supposed to pay). We came following the good Google reviews, but we left disappointed.

22/04/2025: Seit Jahren besuchen wir immer wieder die Pizzeria Colibri, wenn wir zu einem Kurzaufenthalt in der Region Comer See sind. Auch diesmal wurden wir mit sher gutem Essen und Freundlichkeit bestens bewirtet. Wieder einmal ein Höhepunkt - die Penne Arrabiata. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Stop.

20/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua al Colibrì. Cibo molto buono con delle fantastiche penne saporite e una buonissima pizza Margherita. Personale come sempre molto simpatico e accogliente. Noi andiamo al Colibrì durante le festività da 5 anni circa, ed è stato sempre il nostro punto di riferimento per Natale, Pasqua... Ci vediamo presto!

21/06/2025: The evening meal was very good. The staff were nice and friendly. The only thing that was expensive was the €2.50 cover charge per person, but unfortunately, that's typical Italian.

22/07/2025: I have picked up the most delicious breakfast items and then focaccia and gnocchi for lunch/dinner almost every morning. The pastries are always fresh with original flavors. The gnocchi are some of the best we have had since arriving in Italy. The staff is lovely and helpful.

21/06/2025: A place you don't expect to find: the lady was very kind, friendly and nice, the muffins were very good, quality and certainly not industrial; and reasonable prices...if only there were more places like this...when you find something good it should be rewarded. 23/08/2025: We came to the restaurant 15 minutes before opening and weren’t allowed to be sat on the patio until opening. Espresso based to-go beverages are available before opening, but if you come early, plan to shop at some of the boutique shops until they are ready to seat and serve your group. This was a great café for sitting and enjoying time with family. It is located in a beautiful Italian alley with friendly shopkeepers and authentically local shops. Church bells ring fairly frequently after opening (maybe four times in two hours). The food was delicious with relatively larger portions. Be careful not to over order as we had a party of six and had plenty of leftovers. Many dishes can be made into vegetarian including the lasagna! The pizzas a large and rectangular. Consider sharing if you would like to try multiple menu items. Two mozzarella di buffala pizzas were big enough to share with our party of six. There are few waiters for the entire patio. Our waiter was extremely attentive and lovely to connect with, but make sure you have time to really sit and enjoy your meal and company the Italian way, especially when the restaurant gets busier for lunch.
