16/10/2025: What a pleasure to find this place in Riomaggiore! We had all our breakfasts there. The welcome is extremely warm, I loved the yogurt bowl and the many choices of fresh fruit for the smoothies 🌱

11/10/2025: The owner was very nice and the pesto smoked tofu panini was a 10/10! She even gifted me a cornetto which was amazing as well! A must visit if you are vegan or not.

09/11/2025: A delightful restaurant in Manarola that's well worth a visit for its excellent homemade products of exceptional quality. Not to mention the impeccable and thoughtful welcome extended to guests by the son and his mother, who explain the menu in detail (in French) and offer their best advice for an unforgettable experience. We frequented other restaurants in Liguria, Calabria, and Sicily over two months this autumn of 2025, but we never found the same level of hospitality at Cappun Caprun. 29/09/2025: Hello! We finally made it to this cafe. The previous two years, our visit coincided with their school holidays. The lovely employees explained the selection without speaking our language, and we without Italian. We ordered six types of ice cream and a gratta. It was delicious and exquisite. The cones were crisp and didn't get soggy from the ice cream. The interior was restrained, simple, and stylish. I loved it. Thank you so much!

09/09/2025: I ordered an ice cream cake for a birthday. I should point out that I'm from out of the region, but they still accommodated my requests completely. The staff and owner are incredibly kind... and the home delivery is a plus. I recommend everyone stop by; you won't regret it.

26/08/2025: First of all, it's a little difficult to get there for those who aren't local... then you find the "treasure." Well done, especially in the difficult times; in the ordinary, everyone is good... or almost. Keep it up, I can only say: it's worth trying, you'll also find some of their own specialties for sale.

07/11/2025: 5 stars aren't enough. Refined dishes and excellent ingredients. Attentive and friendly service. The price is reasonable. Lemon risotto with raw seafood is Oscar-worthy. I'll definitely be back.

28/10/2025: An absolutely lovely place. The service was kind and friendly with the chef coming out to ask if I enjoyed it and genuinely delighted that was the case. Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection, the wine list was excellent and affordable. This place is ideal for a special occasion. Booking is absolutely essential

15/09/2025: I've always been going to this ice cream shop. The gelato is excellent. It's a shame they removed the outside tables and replaced them with an uncomfortable center table. The best part was sitting down and enjoying their products. I don't understand, but that's obviously just my opinion.

04/10/2025: Pestobene serves one of the best pestos I’ve tried in Italy — rich, fresh, and full of authentic Ligurian flavor. The staff were warm and genuine, giving it that true local touch. There’s no seating available, so it’s more of a grab-and-go spot, but absolutely worth stopping by if you want to taste real Genovese pesto. Highly recommended!

03/10/2025: Best pesto ever. We ate the small focaccia with pesto here, and afterward, because the pesto was so delicious, we had the fresh wheat trofie with pesto. It's great that you can specify how much trofie you want. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Genoa.

22/09/2025: After years of not being able to eat focaccia, I stumbled upon this place, which serves a variety of focaccias, including gluten-free ones. I tried the cheese version and the regular one: incredible! They were just as I remembered. Thank you so much! For those with a sweet tooth, they also have coconut, hazelnut, and almond cookies, all gluten-free. P.S. You need to call the day before to reserve the gluten-free focaccia. I also recommend reserving the farinata because it sells out quickly (also gluten-free).

01/11/2025: Good food, very unpleasant service. They have two different menus on their website and in person. When you order, they don't try to help you despite the lack of customers. The cashier is very rude and can't answer simple questions and asks questions like "Do you need cutlery?" for a takeout order. Maybe they're waiting for me to eat with my hands, I don't know. And the plastic forks were killer.

09/10/2025: I absolutely give Gianna the highest rating because the pizza is delicious and her kindness is unparalleled. It's like being at home, with a family atmosphere.

29/09/2025: Interesting experience which goes beyond of just having pizza. Of course the pizza is tasty but what also makes this place special is the owner who is very sweet and kind with a special character. I will remember the nice experience of sitting with locals and enjoying my pizza while having a big smile.
