05/03/2025: It has now become a fixed stop when we are in Fabrica and sometimes we come specifically from Rome.
Excellent location, very friendly and welcoming owners but the real leap in quality is the skill of the chef who is exceptional especially in cooking fish.
The long culinary experience, gained by Mr. Gianni in the kitchens of Sardinia, gives a unique flavor to very fresh food chosen with care and wisdom directly by the owner himself in the fish shop. Gianni, we talked about it on several occasions, is able to recognize the quality and origin of the fish so that he can always give the best to his customers.
I clearly prefer the fish menu which is available in different ways from the starter to the main courses while my wife likes the typical local cuisine and the grilled meat, which is also chosen with particular attention.
Even though we often go to restaurants in Rome or in the Viterbo area, for us Gianni and Maria are number 1, so much so that sometimes we even return in the evening for an excellent pizza.......
The welcome is familiar.....

23/05/2025: We went to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday on the advice of a colleague! We were welcomed by the owner... a really easy-going, polite and very nice guy! We ate both the first and second courses and the dishes were all really excellent and very special! Not to mention the desserts... sublime!
The cooks when they stopped came to say hello... a beautiful gesture! We will definitely be back!

Potrebbe essere da cinque stelle ma il menù degustazione dovrebbe essere accompagnato da un servizio più attento e accurato.

Il filetto buonissimo è anche il carciofo alla romana.
I dolci fatti in casa fantastici!!
Sono molto attenti al cliente.

Das Essen und der Wein sowie der Service waren hervorragend
Zwei Personen bestellten eine Vorspeise.
Unaufgefordert brachte man einen 3 Teller mit dem freundlichen Hinweis, dass man so besser teilen könne.
Einfach toll !

19/08/2025: We went there on the advice of a local. Seeing the terrace and the interior so large, I was afraid it was a tourist trap but finally... Absolutely not. You eat a good homemade Italian pizza, dynamic and organized service. You can go there with your eyes closed!
19/08/2025: Margherita pizza was very underwhelming- lacked flavor with super thin soggy crust. Only giving 3 stars because we were sat fast without a reservation for dinner and they offered to bring me something else to try. My husband did enjoy his prosciutto pizza.

26/06/2025: Abito qui vicino e spesso passo per il mercato del giovedì quindi per l ora di pranzo, mi capita diverse volte di mangiare qualcosa da alice pizza . Chi vive a Roma sa che ce ne sono tantissimi di punti vendita ma non trovi lo stesso sapore da tutte le parti. Leggo molti commenti che non corrispondono alla realtà ( io vivo qui vicino e la frequento spesso quindi avrei notato cose strane ). Ci si sofferma sempre a scrivere cose sgradevoli ma quando i ragazzi sono bravi e professionali nessuno si ferma a scrivere due parole ! Complimenti ragazzi ci vediamo presto !

07/09/2025: I have been frequenting this place for more than 10 years, the atmosphere and the food are nothing to complain about, unfortunately in recent years the service has dropped a lot and I am sorry about this because it is a medium-high level bistro restaurant which therefore deserves more adequate staff for the situation.

31/07/2025: The pizza was excellent, well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The dough was easy to digest. We ordered three different pizzas and tried three excellent fried dishes. The air-conditioned outdoor patio was well-maintained, and we were able to enjoy our dog without any problems. The only flaw that made me give the evening 4 stars was the bill, not because of the prices themselves, but because they charged us €2 per person for three covers.
The legislation – Regional Law No. 21 of 2006, in Article 16, is very clear: the prices of catering services must be displayed clearly and comprehensibly before ordering, and additional cover charges cannot be applied. Simply put, no customer should see a "cover charge" on their receipt.

23/05/2025: This one deserves to be shared. A little while ago, three of us went to "Polvere di stelle", an evening that offered a buffet aperitif including a drink for €10. Two of us signed up for this "package", while the third only took a drink for €6, as per the menu on the paper (he is also following a strict diet, so he was forced to limit himself). Surprise: at the cashier they made us pay €30 for three buffets, claiming that the third of us had also eaten from the plates of the other two diners (in reality, the accused person had just tasted a couple of pieces of canapés from the plate of one of us). Evidently, someone in the place had taken care to monitor the customers at the tables to see and record what they were putting in their mouths. Incredulous and astonished, we advise anyone who goes to the place in question to bring with them an advanced and infallible "counter" (perhaps on their wrist), in order to be prepared when they have to go and face the final bills at the cashier... One thing is certain: they will never do the math to us again....

The gelato cakes are good, some more than others... but the gelato is truly top-notch!

31/08/2025: Finally, a bar/pastry shop worthy of its name! For us, who come from Turin, breakfast should be a motivation to start the day off right, and this place has all the credentials to do just that! Excellent service, prices, quality, and location!
27/08/2025: Among the historic bars in Scauri and Marina di Minturno, this is the one that has maintained its tradition as a great pastry shop and bar. The others have shrunk over time and become more focused on one type of business. The bar is welcoming, with two large rooms and a spacious counter. Table service is prompt and efficient. Hygiene is paramount, and the only thing I can say about the pastry shop is that the vast selection of high-quality products is a challenge. It's a must-stop for us when we visit Scauri.
