It's a place where the sweetness of the gelato meets the rare humanity of the owners: Mrs. Pina and her husband, Pier Giovanni, are people with an old-fashioned courtesy, patient and always ready to guide you through the myriad flavors available. Despite the variety, my choice inevitably falls on the cassata and chocolate: a pairing I would call heavenly. You can clearly sense that each flavor is made with love and artisanal mastery.
