09/11/2025: Let me start by saying we had a wonderful meal! The food was excellent, high-quality, from the appetizers to the coffee. The atmosphere is refined, modern, and pleasant. The only downside is the service. I think (and hope!) it was an isolated incident, probably because the kitchen was understaffed... the fact is, we waited at least 20 minutes before ordering and over an hour before eating! We asked for a second bread basket to stave off hunger... it seemed like they were serving the tables in random order, not by arrival; the tables next to ours were served before us, but those people arrived at least 40 minutes after us! As for desserts (a long wait for those too!), there's no list; they're listed by the staff, but they gave different versions: according to our waitress, today there were only millefeuille, chocolate cake, and lemon sorbet left. The waitress at the next table also listed vanilla ice cream, green apple ice cream, and affogato with whatever you wanted... perhaps a list would be enough... and finally, the price was in line with other restaurants in the center of Grado. Hoping it was just an unlucky day, I highly recommend it for the excellent food.

18/10/2025: We've been coming to Grado for 20 years, including this restaurant! Unfortunately, things are going downhill pretty quickly. Yesterday, the food wasn't as good as usual! The second course was cold, but the manager doesn't care! For €120 for two people, I expect a bit more quality! Sorry! It's been much better!

23/09/2025: I happened upon it by chance for work in Codroipo... new rooms, impeccable service, in the village... the bell tower is ringing... 😊

22/08/2025: A great place to stay in a good location. Peace and quiet, with beautiful garden views. A restaurant is on site, and the city center is very close.

14/11/2025: I'm often in Monfalcone for work and I found this place by chance. The owner is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The food is a mix of fabulous southern and northern dishes, but the orecchiette con le turnips are a cut above. 😉😉😉😉😉

18/10/2025: The best cream-filled doughnuts are here, but the brioches and everything else breakfast-related is also top-notch. Fast service and always helpful, smiling staff. A sure thing.

23/11/2025: Ordinary and overrated pastry shop. The new management has nothing in common with the previous, elegant and refined establishments. This pastry shop has been in Udine since 1924. The new management boasts an acquired tradition. Time has changed the business structure of many places. In this case, the change has only led to a deterioration. Unjustified prices. This place is not recommended for people with good taste!

05/08/2025: Per chi ama la carne alla griglia e il cibo friulano questo e' un posto imperdibile. Si trova a Togliano, una frazione del comune di Torreano, a breve distanza da Cividale del Friuli. Ha un'ampia sala interna, anche se l'ideale e' andarci durante la bella stagione, quando ci si puo' accomodare ad uno dei tavoli esterni che si affacciano su un ampio e ombroso parco dove sono sistemate anche alcuni altalene e giochi per l'intrattenimento dei bambini. Nel menu' c'e' ogni tipo di carne alla griglia, ma sono ottimi anche i primi, come i tagliolini alla selvaggina e gli antipasti di affettati con il kren.

22/10/2025: There are days when they excel, but otherwise they remain good. I have RARELY had decent food.

12/10/2025: The place was empty. You asked for pasta and they wouldn't make it for you. You were rudely sent away as if you had the plague... 12:45, so perfect for lunch. I even tried to say I didn't need great service, but a plate of pasta would be enough because I was really hungry... never again! Highly not recommended.

07/08/2025: Neither the taste nor the price are old-fashioned. An embarrassingly large cup, quite ridiculous. Paid €1.90, it tasted questionable, and contained hard ice cubes. If I could post a photo of the cup, I would. It's hilarious.

08/12/2025: Wonderful place, like being in a romantic fairytale. An old mill now converted into a hotel/restaurant. We've only eaten at this fantastic place. The indoor dining room is small and welcoming, with attention to every detail. The outdoor area, on the other hand, is very spacious and definitely worth enjoying in spring/summer. The food is delicious and of excellent quality. I highly recommend it.

23/09/2025: I tried to make a dinner reservation by calling three weeks in advance, and they told me it was too early and to call back the following Tuesday. I called the following week and was told again to call the week after that. I called the following week, on Tuesday, trying to make a reservation for Friday, and they told me they were fully booked. Simply embarrassing.

21/09/2025: I can only say that the guy was extremely EMPATHETIC, KIND AND COURTEOUS, he even brought me the ice cream I requested in the hospital (I'm hospitalized) And the ice cream? Absolutely DELICIOUS. Thank you so much, I will definitely come back when I'm better🫶

23/11/2025: A very welcoming restaurant, professional staff, and excellent food overall. The wine list may be a little limited, but overall it's enjoyable. Everything is very good. The carbonara is exceptional, which, coming from a true Roman, is a great compliment. A must-try, suitable for everyone, whether with friends, family, a business lunch, or just for a sweet treat.
