14/11/2025: I'm often in Monfalcone for work and I found this place by chance. The owner is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The food is a mix of fabulous southern and northern dishes, but the orecchiette con le turnips are a cut above. 😉😉😉😉😉

20/02/2026: The only open restaurant here around 6:00 PM. Friendly staff, fast service, delicious pizzas, lasagna and tiramisu and profiteroles. Only small portions of pasta. So they ordered an extra pizza.

22/02/2026: Extremely Rude: The front desk hung up on me twice while I was still speaking. Liars: "Upcoming events" that didn't exist and "Set-ups in progress" with ghost operators. Marketing and employee image: ZERO. Openly and shamelessly focused on immediate profit. Recognition of customer loyalty: NONE. Courtesy and open-mindedness: Imagine it because it doesn't exist here!!! Too bad: The Old Mill, a historic and refined place that some have always been fond of, is now held hostage by a team with manners that are, to say the least, crude. This also happens when bitter elders show no consideration for anyone younger than them, and don't think it's an added value to include other generations. We recommend that the front desk and front line staff receive an intensive course in good manners; it would be the MINIMUM!!!! You've really made a horrible fool of yourself!!! What a shame about the total decadence and decline in style and manners: I've known the Vecchio Mulino since I was a child; my family has always been a regular visitor, so much so that over the years we've relied on it to organize important events. Now I, anonymous, am treated by them like a tramp. What a shame!!!! The Ultimo Mulino is no more...

17/02/2026: We chose the restaurant as the venue for our wedding reception, which took place at the end of January. We wanted to extend our heartfelt compliments to Corinna: precise, attentive, courteous, and always available. Although we had to organize many things remotely, we always had a great experience with the entire staff, both by phone and email, without wasting time (and we tested several venues before choosing this one!). Even with last-minute needs, they were understanding and solution-oriented. The food was superb, even for all the guests, and the service was professional and friendly. The garden and interiors are fabulous! We highly recommend this venue for receptions.

19/12/2025: I'll just say never again... endless wait, coffees never arrived, complete with an annoyed and rude response from the staff after more than half an hour of waiting. I'm really surprised by the reviews from other customers... and yet the place is the same... maybe we would have been luckier in the summer? Maybe my hot dog would have been better? I'll never find out because it was the first and last time! I suggest the bartender present on December 7th respond more politely to customers who ask politely after waiting half an hour for four coffees at the end of the meal.

22/02/2026: We've been here twice in the last month to get takeout pizza. Twice we were denied availability (tonight we went at 6:25 PM). Some friends of ours who we met in the wine shop behind the pizzeria had their orders filled in 15-20 minutes even though they ordered after 7 PM!!!! If you're not familiar with takeout, skip it!

07/03/2026: The food is good, the price is right, and the owner is a wonderful person. When it's crowded, you might have to wait a while, but it's worth it. The takeout boxes are fabulous, very convenient and sturdy. I go there often and have formed an opinion. Here are a couple of photos of my latest order, and they're not only beautiful, but equally delicious. Enjoy your meal, and please be kind.

22/01/2026: There were five of us, and he was very kind and, I must say, prompt despite the number of people. I had very good cod, and the burger wasn't bad either. It's also open all hours, so stop by if you're short on time and want to spend little on good food.
