02/09/2025: A typical and welcoming Carnic restaurant. Decidedly focused on mountain flavors and tastes, the menu is very tasty. The dishes are traditional, accompanied by good local wine. Enjoy the homemade pasta. From this perspective, the dessert selection could be improved, which is the only less impressive aspect. Otherwise, the atmosphere and hospitality are truly delightful.

14/03/2025: Ogni tanto mi prende quella, prendo il treno in pausa pranzo e vado a farmi una mangiata per i buffet di Trieste, rigorosamente da sola. Sto giro ho puntato Al spaceto, che era stra consigliato da un gruppo di intenditori su fb. Sicuramente c' ero già stata ma non a mangiare. Ho preso un panino più grande di me con pancetta affumicata, crauti, senape e kren, goduria !!!!! Buono anche il vino sfuso, bello il posticino, sicuramente torno, anche per gli ottimi prezzi
12/03/2025: Locale poco appariscente, ma con una vetrina di tartine e panini e una “lavagna dei vini” più che dignitosa, ideale per una pausa dopo il lavoro o un aperitivo e quattro chiacchiere “a briglia sciolta”. L’atmosfera è schietta e i ritmi sono “umani”: chiude alle 20, ma fino all’ultimo, agli avventori viene servito con garbo un calice di vino. Un autentico tuffo nel “ben essere”

16/08/2025: Excellent pizza. Really good. In a place where you'd never imagine eating it like this. Adequate venue. Average service. It's a shame that in the evening you can only have pizza while the other dishes are only served at lunch.

They also serve kebabs (but we didn't order any).

27/08/2025: Four of us came here with high expectations given the widespread publicity and numerous awards the place has been nominated for.
Leaving aside the rather shoddy location, we waited at least 20 minutes to order, despite half the room having tables free.
We ordered four classic pizzas, one of which arrived completely burned, and the others also had subpar dough and ingredients.
To be fair, we should point out that we pointed out the burned pizza to the waitress and were not charged for it. We were greeted coldly upon arrival and dismissed in an almost annoyed tone upon leaving, perhaps because of the pizza issue.
Also, the price was exorbitant for the quality of the pizzas.
Highly not recommended.

15/08/2025: We stayed at this hotel with our dog for 4 nights. I'll go over it point by point.
1. Beautiful, modern rooms, impeccable cleanliness.
2. Super friendly staff.
3. Excellent food. We had half board, and to be honest, we ate lunch at various places, including our hotel, which is also top-notch.

19/08/2025: The front door looks small but the interior has a unique scenery. The twice-cooked pork tastes good and is spicy. The chicken feet are boneless and easy to eat.
26/07/2025: My favorite Chinese restaurant in Trieste, and I've tried many, almost all of them! Generous portions, very fair prices, and a varied selection of dishes. I recommend the seafood fried rice; you won't find anything like it at other restaurants!

25/08/2025: I've stayed here several times for several days while working in the area. The common areas appear to be good, but the rooms are all quite dated. The location is excellent, close to Casarsa della Delizia, but it could use a major renovation. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant hasn't been tested, although it's popular with locals.

09/08/2025: The place is located in the middle of the city, on the main square, the view is beautiful. Everyone was very nice. The pizza selection is huge, I could hardly decide what to eat. We did not regret coming here, I recommend it to everyone.

04/09/2025: At Biffi, you'll find a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The pizza is truly excellent, as are the restaurant's main dishes and desserts, which always surprise with their quality and flavor. The service is attentive and friendly. A perfect place for a dinner with friends or a special evening in Udine. Highly recommended.
03/09/2025: As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a completely different atmosphere than in the photos. The music was pink, kitsch, banal, and terrible. It all felt like a tourist trap. At the door, the waiter greeted us while fiddling with his phone. We greeted him, but he saw we weren't Italian and continued to look at his phone. We stood at the entrance for five minutes and no one spoke to us. So we left.

16/05/2025: Il locale è molto bello, su due piani, con un arredamento molto curato, ed è solo per questo motivo che ci sono stata quattro volte. Aperol spritz, Hugo, o altri cocktail da aperitivo sono SEMPRE annacquati. Una volta può capitare, due forse anche, tre è difficile, quattro significa che è deliberato. Ovviamente il costo è uguale agli altri locali dove uno spritz aperol contiene anche la giusta quantitò di prosecco e aperol.

07/09/2025: Extremely Rude: The front desk threw me a punch in the face twice while I was still speaking. Liars: "Upcoming events" that don't exist and "Set-ups in progress" with phantom staff. Marketing and employee image: ZERO. Openly and shamelessly focused on immediate profit. Recognition of customer loyalty: NONE. Courtesy and open-mindedness: Imagine it, because it doesn't exist here!!! Too bad: The Old Mill, a historic and refined environment that some have always been fond of, is now held hostage by a team with manners that are, to say the least, crude. This also happens when sour elders show no consideration for anyone younger than them, and don't think it's an added value to include other generations. We recommend that the front desk and front line staff take an intensive course in good manners; it would be the MINIMUM!!!! You've really made a horrible fool of yourself!!! What a shame about the total decadence and decline of manners: I've known about the Old Mill since I was a child; my family has always been a regular visitor, so much so that over the years we've relied on them to organize important events. Now I, anonymous, am treated by them like a tramp. What a shame!!!! The Old Mill is no more...
08/08/2025: I can only review the restaurant. The place is well-maintained, with a well-kept garden. A romantic spot for a dinner or lunch on special occasions. The food is top-notch, and the service is top-notch. I can't comment on the rooms because I've never stayed there.

20/07/2025: We stopped by chance at an odd time with the hungry girls, but the very friendly owner didn't bat an eyelid and made everyone happy. Superb calamari, crispy and light fried food, excellent piadina with fresh ingredients, and a generous amount of toast—very good! Recommended.

A very varied and crispy fried dish, with excellent flavor!
On top of all this, a decidedly generous portion. Stop by for an excellent fried fish dish while strolling around Trieste's city center.
