I'm often in Monfalcone for work and I found this place by chance. The owner is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel right at home. The food is a mix of fabulous southern and northern dishes, but the orecchiette con le turnips are a cut above. 😉😉😉😉😉

We went by chance because the place we were going to was closed. It was a good choice. The food was very good, with lots of flavor. I ordered some delicious gnocchi with mushrooms and sausages. The tiramisu was excellent. The beer was reasonably priced. I recommend it.

11/04/2026: Unfortunately, the pizzas aren't as good as they were a few months ago. There's very little cheese, lots of arugula stalks, very little prosciutto, and the dough is lukewarm. It seems there's a new, young chef. It used to be much busier at lunchtime, too. It's a real shame; we'll be looking for another pizzeria.
06/04/2026: I had a gluten free pizza. Well... I tour around Italy trying gluten free food and this will not be my favorite pizza. The taste was ok but it looked and felt like a wet sponge. It seemed as if the dough was overfermented.
