17/12/2025: A pleasant certainty. I tried this deli because it was close to home, without too many expectations, and time after time it has become a regular. Good food, truly remarkable value for money, and above all, a kindness that unfortunately isn't seen much these days. I happily order whenever I can, and when I pick it up, I always find the food ready and hot, and the owners greet me with a smile, ready to listen to my further requests. The portions are also satisfying. Highly recommended.

12/03/2026: The guy was very attentive and helpful. We had a great time. The pizza and hot dogs were very good. The place was small but very welcoming.

09/03/2026: While waiting for lunch, we decide to stop here for two Aperol Spritzes, and we agree to sit at the Ester tables, which are located directly on Piazza Grande. Shortly after, the boy arrives and takes our order at the table. Shortly after, the Spritzes arrive, accompanied by two pieces of Margherita pizza, which were very welcome. The bill was super fair in my opinion, and I remind those who complain about the price of €8 each including the pizza, that in many places for the same price, if you're lucky, they bring you taralli, olives, and chips as a side, so I think the €8 requested is fair. I recommend it and personally I will definitely be back.

15/03/2026: A very welcoming and well-kept place, with attention to detail evident. Parking is easy to find nearby if you're coming from out of town (a short walk won't hurt). Dinner for two with a girlfriend. Excellent dishes we ordered and recommended: pork belly, gnocco with raw ham, tosone, picanha. Superb service, the bill even more. The timing between courses is just right, allowing for a post-evening drink if desired. Fabrizio, the owner, is a wonderful presence in the dining room and an incredible host. Compliments to the kitchen.

12/12/2025: A place that lets you savor quality and innovation. A very high level where everything is delicious. It's always a pleasure to return because we know we'll find something new there, made with quality ingredients and executed with near-perfect precision. They're extremely kind and professional. A very beautiful place with an open kitchen.

18/05/2025: The outside is attractive, but the inside is horrendous. Terrible furniture (some chairs are the same as the ones I have in the garage). The non-alcoholic aperitifs are very sweet, tasteless and the glass is 3/4 full of ice. We asked the waiter to remove the ice, he took the glass away and brought it back still full of ice 😡 Not to mention the freshness of the food 🤮Absolutely to be discarded.

15/03/2026: Overall, the quality-price ratio is good. A serious limitation is the delivery service, which is entrusted to their own drivers. If you order online, you have to wait an indefinite amount of time. On average (in my case), it takes an hour longer than the delivery time estimated by the various apps.

15/03/2026: The sandwiches were really good, and the fries were also highly recommended. Ordering takeout would probably be even worse than the ones you get at the restaurant, but they were still spectacular.

20/06/2025: We went to this place for the first time, we ordered the courgette flowers, they were all pasta and little flower, without mozzarella and anchovies like they do in Rome, the carbonara left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth that I couldn't finish, the tonnarelli, they took them by mistake to another table, then once they recovered them they gave them to us, by now lukewarm, poor organization, given the experience with the first courses, we didn't want to order anything else, I had high expectations but I was very disappointed.

15/05/2025: We had dinner with friends, the fried food was delicious and not greasy, the appetizer was a flask with lots of excellent ingredients, the cacio e pepe, gnocchi alla Gricia and amatriciana, all excellent, we will gladly return and I recommend it.

15/03/2026: Delicious croissants and sweets, unique and fantastic macchiato coffee, for me the best in Modena, a mythical welcoming atmosphere, kind and efficient staff with a few small exceptions.

15/03/2026: Had breakfast last March 9th. The two ladies at the counter were unprofessional, bored, and unpleasant. So, it was a terrible experience for me.

31/12/2025: The pizza was good, for example, it seemed like it had been previously frozen. After receiving the pizzas, we realized we had paid 20% more, just because it was New Year's Eve (we hadn't been notified). By calling back, we found out because it was New Year's Eve. By calling other pizzerias, we realized it was unusual. At least the delivery time was previously announced.

14/02/2026: It's a shame about the place, which would be nice! The prices are outrageous and the service doesn't justify them! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

16/02/2026: Accessibility 4/5: There's a large parking lot next door, but unfortunately there aren't many reserved spaces for disabled guests. Ambience 3/5: The building is old and could use some updating, but it's reasonably clean. The exterior is poorly maintained, and the surrounding asphalt is very uneven. Menu 4/5: Good selection of 5 simple first courses (including one special, 2 rotating, and 2 "constant"), 4 second courses, and 4 or 5 side dishes. There's also fruit, bread, and dessert. It's a shame there's no coffee bar. Food Quality 3/5: The quality you'd expect from a canteen, nothing special. There's a risk of getting cold dishes if the tray from the kitchen has been waiting a while. Service and Staff 3/5: Unlike other reviews, I didn't find the staff rude, just busy. There are condiment counters and three microwaves available in the dining room, but they're often dirty, the bottles are greasy, and many containers are empty. Price 4/5: The €12 menu deal (non-special first course + second course + side dish + bread + water) is truly low. The only drawback is that you can't pay with meal vouchers, unless you pay for the individual dishes separately, thus losing the discounted menu price. Overall rating: 3.5/5
