19/05/2024: Top pastry shop....shame about the slow and dispersive service
18/05/2024: I went to this bar today at 1.30pm and asked the girl at the counter to give us a bottle of still water. She replied that they no longer had any, after finding one in the fridge, I also asked her for a bottle of sparkling water. , annoyed and huffing because she had to go back to the fridge to get the second bottle, she gave it to me, then I asked her to give me 2 desserts, asking for confirmation that they were gluten-free and I specified that I am intolerant and not celiac, the her answer was they are made with eggs so she didn't have any information on gluten, what it was, I explained to her that gluten is flour and therefore those 2 desserts were fine because they only contained eggs and sugar, when we got to the counter and I asked if we could sit at the table, paying for the service and asking for a coffee at the table too, he snorted a second time, didn't answer me and looked at his colleague with an impatient look, I asked her if there was something wrong and that I would pay for the table service, she raised her voice at me and with her hand raised she shouted at me to stay calm, I replied that she should be calm, since since we entered she was neither helpful nor kind, I went out and my daughter told her that I would post the review and she laughingly replied that she wouldn't sleep at night. I'm really disappointed because it was a bar where my family and I have always had a good time since 1993, when I went there on Saturdays, there were some gentlemen who served with attention to the customer and with respect, we will never go back again

10/03/2024: I go there every day, the quality of the food is not bad for a canteen. The structure dates back to the 80s and would definitely need a good renovation and modernization. The service leaves a lot to be desired; the tables where you eat are practically never cleaned, as are those with the condiments which, when they run out, are often not replaced. It is not uncommon that after the meal you don't know where to put your tray because the trolleys are always full and are not replaced with empty ones.
For work reasons I have eaten for years in another establishment of the same chain where the service/service staff ratio was more or less the same; cleanliness, service and efficiency were impeccable, so don't come up with the usual excuse that there is no staff.

02/10/2023: Buongiorno questa mattina sono andata a fare colazione al bar dolce Corrao a Modena. Ho chiesto di poter pagare con carta e mi è stato detto che il pos non funzionava. Quindi ho tirato fuori i contanti e mi è stato detto con arroganza “ vede allora c’è li ha i contanti”. Avevamo ordinato due spremute e mi è stato risposto sempre con tono non tanto cortese che ne riusciva a fare solo una perché aveva solo tre arance per colpa del fruttivendolo che non era ancora passato. Per non parlare del bancone quasi vuoto di paste alle 9.30 del mattino e neanche un granché quella che ho preso. Al che ci siamo accomodati ma non avendo capito se ci fosse il servizio al tavolo sono rientrata per chiedere ciò che mancava. Mi è stato risposto con estrema maleducazione “eh signora un attimo la spremuta si deve spremere”. Assolutamente bar da non ritornarci. Una giornata no può capitare a tutti ma i clienti non vanno trattati in questo modo. I problemi vanno lasciati a casa. Questa è solo maleducazione e arroganza al massimo. Che schifo.

31/12/2023: Location molto curata e per le festività natalizie ,addobbata con molta eleganza , in armonia con lo stile retró bellissimo che adoro di tutta l’ oggettistica antica .
Come antipasto abbiamo consumato un’ottimo crostino di funghi , poi come primi io personalmente ho preso gli gnocchi di patate alla fonduta di castelmagno , porri e salsiccia, che mi hanno colpito tanto.
Buonissimo anche l’agnello con le erbette ,peccato per la riduzione di salsa al barolo , a mio modestissimo parere una dolcezza non necessaria per una carne così prelibata e ben trattata.

Servizio attento e garbato
Conto onestissimo ,se si pensa anche alla location,che soprattutto nelle stagioni primaverili è ancora più godibile.
16/10/2023: Finalmente siamo riusciti a degustare le specialità della casa !!! Locale caratteristico, con una bella terrazza che spazia sulla valle, personale cordiale e preparato ma allo stesso tempo non impiccione, le pietanze buon antipasto, ma la carne non ha paragoni, cotta al punto giusto con contorni ben abbinati, discreto il dolce, un buon vino ha fatto da corolla ai piatti suddetti, per finire un buon caffè e un nocino hanno chiuso il pranzo.
Non aggiungo altro, solo che troveremo il modo di ritornarci. Un saluto a tutto lo staff.
