16/11/2025: I love this place I have gone several times, alone and with people. But today it was disappointing, I arrived to the place they asked if i made a reservation i said no, she told me there were no places i could only sit outside if I wanted to (rightfully so). I waited for 15 minutes for someone to come take my order, and in the meanwhile I saw a couple coming WITHOUT A RESERVATION that were given a place inside. I asked again if some places were freed she said yes but I have to leave in 45mins, then i went to sit and she said actually no you have to leave in 30 minutes. A hectic week al I wanted was to get some pancakes and a drink on a sunday. So I left.

13/11/2025: Nice place to go for breakfast, lunch, etc. After lunch we stopped for an American coffee, a cupcake, and a bubble tea. Everything was definitely good, with a normal price. Recommended.

26/05/2026: They make amazing pizza, you'd be hard-pressed to find better. The Neapolitan dough is truly second to none. They also have a good selection of desserts, and need we mention the prices? Super fair, especially considering the quality. I recommend trying them; you won't be disappointed!

19/02/2026: Always excellent food, reasonable prices, a family atmosphere, impeccable service. I recommend booking, as it's very popular (and it's understandable why...). If you plan on drinking too much wine (which they make!), you can also book a room...

08/07/2026: A wonderful dining experience: you can enjoy Emilian specialties (pasta, and especially their crowning glory, tigelle and fried gnocchi) in a youthful, cheerful, and airy atmosphere (the space is very spacious), all at a reasonable price. The organization is perfect: you arrive, sit down, order, pay via app, and are served at your table. There were three of us: fried tortellini, a platter of cured meats with cheeses and dips (the chopped lard with rosemary and parmesan was simply extraordinary), and then two baskets of tigelle. €47, including drinks: if we had gone to a typical osteria, we would have spent about triple that. We were thoroughly satisfied.

15/04/2026: On Sunday, I returned to Garum in Modena for lunch... and every time it's a confirmation: it's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by a refined atmosphere, elegant but never cold. You immediately sense that there's a vision behind it, not just cuisine. The service is attentive, precise, yet natural—it makes you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. Then comes the best part: the dishes. Each course is thoughtfully crafted, carefully planned, but above all, captivating. It's not just a matter of taste—it's a complete journey. The aromas arrive before the dish, the presentation is clean and refined, and from the first bite, you understand that every ingredient has a precise meaning. Bold yet balanced flavors, sophisticated combinations that never feel forced. The wine? Carefully chosen. The pairings complement each course, enhancing it without ever overpowering it. You can see the knowledge and passion there, too. What strikes me every time is the consistency: from start to finish, there's not a single moment out of place. Everything flows, everything has a rhythm. Garum isn't your typical "good food" place. It's a place where you sit down and truly enjoy the time, the food, and the experience. I return often, and I will continue to return. Because when you find a level like this... you recognize it immediately.

29/03/2026: Independent cuisine, from garum this acronym says it all. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Modena for dishes with an unconventional structure. Combining the theme of fermentation with oriental and Italian cuisine is no easy feat, but they manage it effectively, boldly, concretely, and above all, with integrity and professionalism. The menu changes seasonally, maintaining seasonality within the dishes but making them accessible to all tastes and needs. For me, it's always a win-win for a first date, whether for friends or family.

29/06/2026: There are no words to describe the nosadella. It's always been the best for me. Generous and well-seasoned dishes, super soft pizza, perfect tigelle, and let's not even talk about the prosciutto crudo ❤️ The upstairs dining room is a feast for the eyes, the summer is perfection. I may be biased, but I can never find a flaw. Since I discovered it twenty years ago, it's been a given for me.

02/06/2026: Unfortunately, I have to give one star! The staff was friendly and fast (I assume because the food is frozen). The food tastes like nothing!! I've never tasted salmon that had absolutely no flavor! It was a unique experience, but a negative one! The same with the tuna. The shrimp vaguely resembled the flavor, but it was definitely not fresh. The menu is very limited and includes some nonsensical dishes (hosomaki with only Philadelphia? Why? It's not even suitable for vegans!!) Truly disappointing. We will never go back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Again, shame about the staff because the girls are incredible!
