24/01/2026: I don't recommend going there. I booked and chose the menu for a communion for 18 people in mid-October. I asked if they wanted a deposit for the communion and they said no. I've now been called to tell me that the room I chose is already booked for 60 people with a deposit since May. Above all, they told me that since 3 months have passed and there's no deposit, they wouldn't have put me in the room downstairs. But IF I HAD GIVEN THE DEPOSIT, they would have made sure to put me in the room downstairs!!!! You are not serious, not reliable, and not honest at all. Liars.

06/12/2025: I had the pleasure of celebrating my graduation here with my family. It deserves 20 stars for the food, hospitality, location, and service. The private dining room was impeccably decorated and impressive, but the real star was the food: quality and flavor throughout. I highly recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner; it will become one of your favorites. Thanks again for hosting us!

22/11/2025: After the Vesuvius tour, on July 28th we had lunch in Pompeii. First we were at the La Vinicola restaurant, but we finally left there and found the “old kitchen” on the corner of Bartolo Longo square. After we arrived, a very, very nice signora welcomed us, she immediately brought us the drinks. The food was excellent, the linguine was delicious, the diavola pizza… We felt so good here that we came back here on the 30th, the nice lady was there, I had the diavola pizza then. I recommend this Antica Cucina

23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.

14/12/2025: Let's get straight to the point: 1). The music was too loud, I felt like I was at the market or in a movie. We couldn't understand anything about Mario Merola; we just shouted. 2). 1 hour and 10 minutes of waiting for a plate of pasta, an appetizer, and a bottle of water. 3). There's no à la carte menu where you can choose according to your needs. Between handshakes and smiles, you'll miss the 50 euro price tag for a first course, an appetizer with 4 vegetables, a meatball, and a bottle of water. They don't make pizza; they offer you the food as soon as you sit down. Congratulations

14/09/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, pizza menu with pizzas and fried foods or classic menu with first course, second course and side dish for €15 including drink.

20/08/2025: Our visit got off to a "funny" start when the waiter tried to clean our table. (Why do they only do that when guests arrive, not immediately when they leave?) Anyway, his dry napkin got stuck to it, so instead of getting a wet rag, he swapped tables and left it next door with the napkin stuck to it. *LOL* Less funny was his inability to understand the order for "Tagliatelle Mushrooms" and his "forgetting" the mozzarella on the pasta dish (according to the menu). After I asked where my mushrooms were, he took the plate and brought it back with two tablespoons of canned pickled mushrooms on top. From that moment on, no server appeared at our table again; we had to go inside and find someone to pay. All three pasta dishes we ordered were ready-made meals, which, apart from the taste, was also noticeable because the pasta and sauce were not cooked separately, but rather mixed together. So, all in all: Don't go there; you can get canned food cheaper at the supermarket. A star of grace for the salad, which was okay.

26/12/2025: Terrible experience... I asked for a gluten-free dessert... one of the ladies behind the counter told me that they have a Caprese cake that's made without gluten but could be contaminated... then she added... "It depends on the level of intolerance"... absurd... I went to the counter and asked the guy for an explanation, but he told me the same thing... I reiterated that I have celiac disease, an autoimmune disease... he said, "So I won't give him the cake." But the point is that certain situations related to intolerances shouldn't be treated so superficially... also because they should have a separate laboratory... and as if that weren't enough, the "young man" behind the counter even made jokes to my companion who was having a coffee... and told him he had cocoa... on the side of his mouth... but that wasn't the case. Moral of the story... learn to be professional and respectful towards customers, and above all, a piece of advice: be careful with gluten-free... it could be dangerous.

25/12/2025: Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered a vegan cake that had probably been sitting there for days. Dry and tasteless struffoli. Inedible tart. €98 (including two little gifts) wasted. Compliments to the bartenders, they were truly kind! I hope they're treated well, given the owner's visibly harsh attitude.

13/09/2025: The food looked good, but unfortunately it was not tasty. The service was good, the atmosphere very good. The service charge was higher than most restaurants of this type.

21/08/2025: Rubbery and undercooked pizza Bland, flavorless pasta Meat with raw, stale potatoes Italian-style fried food that tasted like fish I'm speechless. Nothing was worth saving. How can you do so many things and not even one of them turn out so absurd?

09/10/2025: After a booking issue that was my fault Hotel del Corso was very helpful in finding me alternative accommodation in a pinch. Very thankful and on that alone the service was 5/5 stars. Thank you very much Hotel del Corso.

05/09/2025: Bad experience... they call a hotel an establishment that in Spain would be classified as a guesthouse or inn. Located on the second floor (it simulates a home converted into a guesthouse). They gave us a room with three flights of stairs and no elevator (we had to help each other carry our luggage). The breakfast buffet was meager (carton juices, etc.) with little replenishment of what they ran out of. The key control system was almost prison-like (every time we left, they asked us if there were anyone else in the room, and we had to explain ourselves). They made us pay the tourist tax before checkout, so I had to ask for a receipt, and they gave me one that wasn't official (let everyone draw their own conclusions regarding the purpose and use of the tax), and they frequently asked us what time we were leaving the room. Also, on our first night, my son's bed had a very large dirt stain on the bedspread and sheets, and they blamed my son for it. In short, a very unpleasant experience. The only praiseworthy thing is the location, very central on a busy pedestrian street. Nothing like the Hotel Plaza in Salerno or the Exe Majestic in Naples, which had excellent quality and service.
