31/10/2025: We felt welcomed everywhere. From the maids to the two owners, everyone was kind, courteous, and attentive, fulfilling our every wish. We start our day here every morning with breakfast, and depending on our plans, we were also pampered in the evening. They even prepared regional specialties for us to try. Everything was incredibly good. The value for money is excellent, and 5 stars really don't do it justice. A true place of well-being, with a family atmosphere.

08/08/2025: It is truly shameful to prepare a latte macchiato or even a caffè macchiato with heated milk, adding old coffee, already on the counter for who knows how long or how many days, to want to earn maybe a few cents more, a truly ugly scene; In practice in the morning one goes to the bar Orders a coffee thinking that it is a freshly prepared espresso and instead you go to look and it is an old coffee but they make you pay for it as new, truly disconcerting

03/01/2026: A very negative experience. I had ordered pizza, went in, paid immediately, and was told the pizzas were being prepared. After an hour of waiting, I discovered they hadn't even been baked. I understand it was Saturday and there were a lot of people, but then they should be honest with customers about the wait times, not mock them by making them pay and wait needlessly. It's a shame, because the evening was ruined more by the organization and respect for the customer than by the food.

01/12/2025: I've never paid €13 for a plate of pasta and potatoes, especially considering the plate contained barely 60g of pasta. €3 for a croquette. €15 for a platter with 6 small pieces of cheese and the same number of slices of cured meat. But the best thing was the extremely careful management of the bread. Five of us received a whopping 8 slices throughout the entire meal. Naples has become a tourist trap, and San Martino is no exception.

18/10/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. There's no parking, so you have to leave your car in a small dirt lot about 100 meters from the restaurant. The restaurant is nice, but with traditional local cuisine, it's a far cry from the norm. The potatoes and porcini mushrooms were just potatoes flavored with porcini mushrooms, and the soufflé with caciocavallo and caramelized onions was very sweet—in fact, it was a bit disgusting, and it was cold, to boot. The cured meats and cheese platter wasn't bad, though it was a shame they only had two types. But the sore point was the meat in sauce with the meatball! Everything was lukewarm, and the meat was crispy, not cooked at all. All of these comments were made to the waitress, who agreed with me, and the chef knew about it too! You can't just send a dish like that to the table. The prices were very high for what we ate: for two, five appetizers that we shared, no first course, no second course, no wine, just water—almost 70 euros! I'm sorry to write this review, but I hope it helps you improve.

28/09/2025: Unfortunately, the service is terrible!!! The staff is distracted and unfriendly. It seems like they're doing you a favor for every order you make. They give you a small glass of microwavable water, and if you ask for another, they look at you askance.

09/06/2025: 😵😵❌❌So, assuming that they are ignorant in speaking and dealing with a customer, it wasn't our case but we've seen enough.... we sit down, they bring us an appetizer with mozzarella from the day before, soft tomatoes, first courses full of oil and fried food and a trio of reheated meats (fried food full of oil and reheated, very hard meat and tow, among all the ones we ordered, only the first course) We ate because we were hungry and with all due respect, we left at 4, from there at 8 in the evening with a stomach ache and I won't deny that I have worthy intestinal spasms 👎 from NIGHTMARE KITCHENS We leave one star because it's the minimum

25/12/2025: We bought takeout from them for our Christmas Eve dinner. I want to offer my sincerest compliments for the care and quality of the products. We were skeptical since takeout is always a risk, but we were pleasantly surprised. Generous portions (we couldn't finish everything), fresh ingredients, everything was delicious, and they even gave us an excellent pastiera as a gift. Back has once again proven to be one of the best restaurants in the area. Thank you for everything and Merry Christmas.

18/08/2025: We booked this place by chance; we couldn't have made a worse choice. A very beautiful location, but it's a shame about the service and the food. The service is truly awful, incredibly slow. We sat down at 8:30 PM and left at 11:00 PM without eating anything. It's a shame because the appetizers were truly excellent. At 10:30 PM, they brought us second courses instead of first courses. Then, the first courses finally arrived, but they were all raw. We ordered eight gnocchi and had them all taken back, insisting that they were cooked. We also ordered two plates of fusilli with goat sauce; it tasted like anything but goat, with a very strong tomato flavor. It's a shame about the location, but I strongly advise against going there. We had a really bad experience.

28/06/2025: We celebrated my daughter's eighteenth birthday. What can I say? We were welcomed with great warmth and professionalism. The place is meticulously maintained, and you can immediately sense the owner's dedication to his work. The staff is professional, helpful, and very knowledgeable, and the food is delicious. In short, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a unique experience like ours. Thanks again, you're fantastic.
