16/10/2025: The food is really good, and it's takeout. The service is generally good, but it varies from person to person (one of them was a little nervous. However, since I haven't been back, I think it was an isolated incident).

12/10/2025: I expected much more, especially considering the rather high prices. The food was mediocre: flavorless dishes, and the quality of the ingredients didn't match the price. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but right now it doesn't justify the prices at all. I don't think I'll be back.

02/11/2025: I think it's a good place if you want a different Saturday night or just want to relax in a generally safe and well-kept place. The food is good, but the desserts are too heavy for my taste (although they're American-style, making them perfect for those who like something very sugary). The prices aren't excessively high; perhaps I'd take a few euros off for a more reasonable price. As for the waiters, there are a few things to say; they're mostly friendly, but there are some in particular who just don't fit in. I understand the fatigue and patience required for every demanding customer, but it's not possible that only the curly-haired waiter stands out more than the others for his arrogance, lack of professionalism, and, frankly, lack of self-care. If you guys don't want to smile, fine, but don't show those obvious faces and you'll be in trouble; find another job if this doesn't make you happy. I'm writing this because other acquaintances of mine, and some who have written reviews, have also highlighted this detail. I urge the owner to be more selective about who he hires and to take action. Otherwise, I'll continue to come those couple of times a month.

12/09/2025: Breakfast was good, but I'm forced to give it 1 star because the table service charge is TOO high. We came the day before and paid 1.70 for a latte macchiato, 1.90 for a cappuccino, 1.50 for a croissant, and 2 for a sfogliatella. They clearly didn't charge us for the service charge by mistake. We came the next day and, having ordered directly at the table, the price was high: 3 cappuccinos, 2 croissants, and 3 shortcrust pastry. Furthermore, they passed the latte macchiato off as a cappuccino, so it cost more. What can I say... it's a rip-off! Considering it's not even a fixed percentage, it's not proportional that the croissant goes from 1.50 to 2 and the cappuccino from 1.90 to 3.

08/12/2025: December 8th, Immaculate Conception day, 8pm, I bought 4 sfogliatelle to take away, definitely very bad, upon arrival at the place, a tangle of people without a number and with numbers without organization, plus very cold sfogliatelle and without powder on top, plus my order had been delivered to another person, think about it, I will not return again due to the poor, very poor quality of the sfogliatelle, considering that I paid two euros each, for me there is only one left, the king of sfogliatelle Attanasio Piazza Garibaldi.

27/06/2025: Ci ha accolti la gentilezza e professionalità di Raffaele, accomodati all'interno di una sala che sembra raccontare ai clienti il carattere di Napoli. Consigliati sapientemente abbiamo scelto una frittura alici, calamari e gamberi accompagnati da una delicata maionese al lime che ci ha stupiti. A seguire la pizza che era da provare doverosamente...e che vi dico? Una poesia! Consigliatissimo anche per il rapporto qualità eccezionale/prezzo. 05/07/2025: A gift from the boss, Zucchini flower with fish and mayonnaise, perfect. Delicious. Aromatic. Antipasti, grilled squid, delicious. Crispy and delicate. Tuna steak, delicious. However, the salad was charged separately at 4.50e. Spaghetti with shrimp tartare, the best. Delicate. Noticeable orange peel. Delicious wine. Great service. The boss personally comes, talks and creates an atmosphere. A revelation. I recommend it. ❤️

18/09/2025: love from Tokyo this is note to self; visited around 3pm on Wednesday ,17 Sep, 2025. with 2 sons(6 and 5yrs old) Really surprising their style. Everything we ordered was lovely taste - they use local fine ingredients and good at taking full advantages of original flavor of each ingredients. thanks to well balanced amount of oil, it's not as heavy for the stomach as other Napolitan restaurant's food.(they're good though) and I truely re-learned how flavor of tomato(piennolo?) is beautiful. MUST GO PLACE after enjoying view from castel Sant' Elmo. Many thanks for the kindness and being a part of precious memory of our journey in Napori! Lots of love to all staffs in Locantina!!!

04/10/2025: Absolutely not worth it!! Good price, nice atmosphere, good service, but the food is truly made for a waste. Never again, just a waste of money!

13/08/2025: We stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of Napoli and it was so good! We left with full bellies and happy hearts. Some said the interior is outdated but I think it is country-style and simple, as would be expected in the area. Everything was clean and fresh!

07/10/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this pizzeria on Saturday evening. Since we didn't have a reservation, we waited about 30-40 minutes before being seated. Once seated, we ordered a frittatina, a croquette, a genuine Neapolitan pizza, and ribs. When ordering, the waiter correctly informed us that the ribs would require a longer cooking time, with a wait of about 30 minutes. We agreed, only asking that the two main courses (pizza and ribs) be served together. After the appetizers, the ribs and potatoes arrived, but from the first bite, we noticed that they were both cold. We therefore asked for them to be cooked longer, but the pizza hadn't yet arrived. When the ribs returned to the table, unfortunately, they were only slightly warmed and otherwise unpleasant, so much so that the plate remained almost untouched. When we received the bill, we reported the issue to the owner, who explained that the ribs aren't cooked on the spot but rather supplied pre-cooked by an outside lab, and therefore she didn't believe she was responsible for the incident. We weren't given any discount, but were offered only a coffee or a liqueur, which we politely declined. We left with regret, because despite our kindness and helpfulness, we felt we'd been treated a bit condescendingly. Unfortunately, after this experience, we've decided not to return.

14/09/2025: The restaurant has indoor dining rooms and an outdoor terrace with tables overlooking a beautiful view. The kitchen is perfect for those who love simple things and traditional dishes. In addition to the menu items, they offer new dishes every day. Starting with the appetizers, which are truly delicious and simple (I tried the mixed cold cuts, olives, and mozzarella). The first courses are prepared with the typical skill of those who love to cook. The excellent dish of the day was the amatriciana, which was plentiful, and the fusilli with Sorrento-style sauce were excellent. The free-range roast chicken was excellent, with excellent baked potatoes. The escalope wasn't so good; it was a bit tough and difficult to eat. The stuffed pepper didn't seem like an exceptional filling, but it wasn't to my liking, partly because it wasn't cooked enough and the filling was a bit too complicated. The owners and waiters were very friendly.

21/08/2025: The simplicity of good food is far from the spotlight because it doesn't need advertising. All it takes is quality ingredients and a love of good food, and eating becomes a pleasure. Outdoor terrace and indoor seating. Excellent trattoria! Thanks for sticking around!
