18/09/2025: love from Tokyo this is note to self; visited around 3pm on Wednesday ,17 Sep, 2025. with 2 sons(6 and 5yrs old) Really surprising their style. Everything we ordered was lovely taste - they use local fine ingredients and good at taking full advantages of original flavor of each ingredients. thanks to well balanced amount of oil, it's not as heavy for the stomach as other Napolitan restaurant's food.(they're good though) and I truely re-learned how flavor of tomato(piennolo?) is beautiful. MUST GO PLACE after enjoying view from castel Sant' Elmo. Many thanks for the kindness and being a part of precious memory of our journey in Napori! Lots of love to all staffs in Locantina!!!

The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, making it feel like you're dining at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend the perfect dish. Excellent value: a place worth discovering and returning to! Pictured: risotto with cabbage, chili pepper, and parmesan. Recommended!

13/08/2025: We stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of Napoli and it was so good! We left with full bellies and happy hearts. Some said the interior is outdated but I think it is country-style and simple, as would be expected in the area. Everything was clean and fresh!

27/09/2025: This is the sort of establishment you want to go to if you want the real Italian experience. We discovered this gem and it become our go-to place in Pozzuoli for a great snack and lunch. Georgio and great team are attentive and will give you the best Campania has to offer. I recommend the tiramisu with pistachio but the pizza can stand on its own. Bello! 😃😃😃

Consigliati sapientemente abbiamo scelto una frittura alici, calamari e gamberi accompagnati da una delicata maionese al lime che ci ha stupiti. A seguire la pizza che era da provare doverosamente...e che vi dico? Una poesia! Consigliatissimo anche per il rapporto qualità eccezionale/prezzo. However, the salad was charged separately at 4.50e. Spaghetti with shrimp tartare, the best. Delicate. Noticeable orange peel. Delicious wine. Great service. The boss personally comes, talks and creates an atmosphere. A revelation. I recommend it. ❤️

13/10/2025: I'm giving it 5 stars because that's the best I can give, otherwise they would deserve many more. The sfogliatella accompanied by coffee cream was amazing. But the real difference, compared to other places, was the staff: our table was served by Gennaro, extremely kind, friendly, precise, and professional. He always served us with a smile, making our snack a truly enjoyable experience. Like him, Annamaria and Giuliano also showed kindness and professionalism, revealing the care and precision they put into their work. Highly recommended.

22/08/2025: I ordered an aperitif for two and forgot to mention that I can't tolerate onions. When the aperitifs arrived, I asked if they could be substituted with ones without onions, and they were immediately available. Excellent quality and products. Extensive menu with a wide selection. Excellent courtesy and service. Perfectly clean. Definitely excellent prices. Perfect atmosphere.

03/10/2025: If you are staying at Napoli City Center Apts and receive a breakfast ticket to this place, be very specific with your order. Most people do not speak English, so use your phone to translate. 2 out of our 3 mornings they gave us food without our coffee. To their credit I did order the croissants first, so maybe I needed to order the coffee first. We did enjoy the pistachio and chocolate croissants. They were very delicious. On the last morning when we finally got our cappuccinos they were also very good. This place moves very quickly and gets busy. If you're a tourist you have to be on point before you get there. Please remember, Italians speak Italian. They are not obligated to speak English. Treat people respectfully and you will be treated kindly as well. Everyone who helped us was nice.
