14/07/2026: May 22, 2026 - Pasta with potatoes, peas, and cuttlefish was okay. The fried anchovies were good, though not very generous. The tonnarelli with squid ink (definitely NOT!) and the desserts were nothing special. The wait was a bit too long. I'd also add that the bill, without a breakdown of what we ordered, shows a LACK of TRANSPARENCY. The price of €76.50 (for two of us), I found it a bit too high. There are definitely some areas that could be improved.

02/11/2025: I think it's a good place if you want a different Saturday night or just want to relax in a generally safe and well-kept place. The food is good, but the desserts are too heavy for my taste (although they're American-style, making them perfect for those who like something very sugary). The prices aren't excessively high; perhaps I'd take a few euros off for a more reasonable price. As for the waiters, there are a few things to say; they're mostly friendly, but there are some in particular who just don't fit in. I understand the fatigue and patience required for every demanding customer, but it's not possible that only the curly-haired waiter stands out more than the others for his arrogance, lack of professionalism, and, frankly, lack of self-care. If you guys don't want to smile, fine, but don't show those obvious faces and you'll be in trouble; find another job if this doesn't make you happy. I'm writing this because other acquaintances of mine, and some who have written reviews, have also highlighted this detail. I urge the owner to be more selective about who he hires and to take action. Otherwise, I'll continue to come those couple of times a month.

29/07/2026: It wasn't very crowded at lunchtime on a Monday. Outdoor parking is available, and an elevator is available for those who have difficulty navigating stairs. From the outside, it appears sparse, but once inside, thanks to the colors, lighting, and mirrors, it feels even more spacious and creates a charming atmosphere. An all-you-can-eat menu is available for both lunch and dinner. You can place orders from the tablet at your table, spaced at least 10 minutes apart. We placed our first order: drinks arrived immediately; the main courses (sushi) arrived after 3-4 minutes. We then placed a second order with other courses (sashimi, wakame) that arrived in less than 5 minutes. The food is good and the fish is fresh. Tuna sashimi is also available at lunchtime, unlike other restaurants.

16/10/2025: The food is really good, and it's takeout. The service is generally good, but it varies from person to person (one of them was a little nervous. However, since I haven't been back, I think it was an isolated incident).

13/08/2025: We stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of Napoli and it was so good! We left with full bellies and happy hearts. Some said the interior is outdated but I think it is country-style and simple, as would be expected in the area. Everything was clean and fresh!

04/05/2026: Never again. I've never had a worse experience at a restaurant. Exactly an hour and a half of waiting for panuozzi, with no apology or warning from the waiters. The entire dining room lost patience, waiting so long for panuozzi that were "in the oven." The panuozzi, when they arrived, were burnt and the ingredients were of poor quality. When it came time to pay, no one at the cashier apologized for the terrible service (and for all the frustration they caused us), and on top of that, they didn't even give us an official receipt. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

02/05/2026: We ended up here because there was no room at Mascolo. The staff was friendly, and the place was also cute in the center of Gragnano's main square. The big problem was that we, like everyone else in our room, waited over an hour and a half for a panuozzo. No apology or justification came from the owner or the waitress, who, poor thing, had to deal with the angry customers alone and seemed accustomed to this routine. The panuozzo itself was poor, the bread very hard and served lukewarm. I strongly advise against stopping here as a fallback if you can't find a table elsewhere; it's better to leave Gragnano without eating the panuozzo.

05/06/2026: Beware customer service is not a priority. Cashier had a little bit of an attitude even though there was noone else in the store. Ice cream melted the second got served in the cones. Definitely not going back to this location.

14/06/2026: I celebrated a birthday a few days ago. It's a nice place; is there enough space between the tables? The staff is very young and helpful; they just need to organize their orders. Our table received pizzas we hadn't ordered and were replaced, but it took a while. The pizza was good; you can see the ingredients are top-quality; but the cooking was a bit slow. Small touches that could be improved; in order to enhance the customer experience from the welcome to the end.

28/03/2026: I went to this place on Friday night. We were greeted by two girls, the same ones who work the coat check. There were eight of us. Give them credit for this review. If I could give it a 0, I would. We won't be back, and I don't recommend anyone to go. Terrible welcome and poor treatment of those who pay and say thank you.

05/06/2026: Several times in Pompeii, we experienced a farcical dining experience. We waited approximately 35 minutes, and the waiter told us that the longer the wait, the fresher the food. Only about ten tables were occupied. He spent the entire evening yelling at his sole waitress, who remained ever smiling. Then he turned on the kitchen, shouting through the small window overlooking the kitchen and the main entrance of the restaurant, just making a lot of noise. We quickly ate our dinner to escape this spectacle worthy of a comedy sketch. I think this gentleman should hand over the reins to someone more competent, dynamic, and respectful of his staff. Oh, and I almost forgot, he calculated the bill himself, seemingly by guesswork...
