21/01/2026: If you want to try the best gelato in the Salerno area, you'll have to take a trip here. This is the gelateria that will make you enjoy gelato even if you haven't had it in years (my mom). It's no coincidence that I know they've won numerous awards, and it shows. It's not just the name that speaks for itself, but the quality of the gelato and the original, flavorful flavors. Plus, it's nice that it's located a bit further up the mountain, because that makes enjoying gelato a moment of peace and serenity. My favorite all along.

19/10/2025: Cold welcome and poor customer service. The staff was rude and unprofessional. There were two of us waiting to be served, and three were behind the counter. After waiting for minutes, I called the staff's attention, their backs turned, and they were joking around, but they also had something to say. 11/11/2025: There were four of us and we happened upon *La Riggiola* by chance, with a light appetite and no great expectations. What we experienced was one of the highlights of the day. The atmosphere is meticulously crafted, welcoming, and refined. The cuisine is excellent: carefully prepared dishes, fresh ingredients, and authentic flavors that speak of Naples. Special praise to our waiter: professional, attentive, and with a voice that reminded us of Pino Daniele. What a thrill to be in his city and hear that familiar voice—a truly touching moment. We will definitely return and enthusiastically recommend *La Riggiola*. A little Neapolitan gem not to be missed!

31/10/2025: We dined at this restaurant last night and it was a unique experience that truly won us over! The chef offers traditional dishes with a modern twist, exquisite and rich in flavor. The octopus was incredibly tender and delicious, the linguine with scampi was an explosion of flavors, the spaghetti with seafood was perfectly creamed, and the amberjack was perfectly cooked, moist and tender—all truly exceptional. The eggplant parmigiana entrée was delicious, exquisite, as good as homemade. The staff was extremely attentive, kind, and professional: a perfect team, with a brilliant chef and a wonderful, welcoming, and passionate owner who offers excellent quality products. Highly recommended; we can't wait to return.

01/02/2026: Until today, January 31, 2026, we had come often, only on Saturday evenings, eating mixed fried food, various cold cuts, and mostly pizza. Everything was excellent, both in terms of quality and the ingredients used. Today we're here for lunch. The daily menu features quality dishes and local products. The service is excellent, the dishes are generous, and, what's more, you can have seconds if you want. I don't think you can ask for more if you want to spend a Sunday with your family in a welcoming location surrounded by spectacular greenery. Well done, keep it up!
