06/08/2026: Everything is very dark, and that's fine, it's a matter of taste. It'll definitely be cool, but not here in New York. I've always eaten sushi everywhere, and I expected much more. We sent back a lobster dish, which was left on the bill. The rice was dry, and the rolls tasted the same. The girls were attentive to the service, perhaps too much so, in fact, that our wine ran out in a few minutes because it was poured even when we preferred to wait. The dinner lasted less than an hour, and we didn't relax because we felt like we were being watched from a distance. And to think I expected to pay even more, so it's an experience I've had, but not one to repeat. At least for us.

08/07/2026: In short I would definitely recommend, but to go into detail My girlfriend and I came right at opening on a Wednesday and was seated immediately, not long after the other tables started to fill up. The service here was phenomenal; the staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The food came out fast and tasted fresh. (Probably some of the best sushi I've had) I felt my server was extremely attentive and came by to check on the table at appropriate times, never when I was mid bite. I'd happily come back and will definitely recommend to friends when they travel here.
