23/02/2026: In the center of L'Aquila, just steps from Piazza Duomo and the main street, lies our favorite restaurant in the city. We've been frequenting Da Lincosta since 2019, and it has never disappointed us at every lunch or dinner, always noting an improvement in the quality of the dishes offered. They also recently renovated the restaurant, and in the summer, you can dine on their splendid terrace. The menu changes based on seasonal produce, but some dishes are always present, and having tasted practically all of them over the years, I can confirm what I said above. The wine list is excellent, featuring excellent wines from Abruzzo. The desserts deserve special mention: pastry chef Federico, the owners' son, creates sublime and balanced desserts. Also worth trying is the Sunday breakfast, which is offered in both sweet and savory options, always using homemade products. I recommend booking.

12/02/2026: If I had to think of my favorite pizzeria, I have no doubt: it's simply the best. The dough is light, well-leavened, and super digestible, with a perfectly soft and fragrant crust. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and high-quality, and you can taste it in every bite. The pizza is always perfectly cooked, balanced in flavor, and never heavy. The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is welcoming, ideal for an evening with friends. Every time, it's a confirmation: quality, passion, and attention to detail. For me, it's not just a pizzeria, it's the pizzeria. The cuisine is tasty and varied, featuring local products expertly cooked by the chef and served with elegance. If you're passing through Pacentro, stop by, and if you don't, make time to go.

17/01/2026: Guests for New Year's Eve, not our choice. The menu's quality-price ratio was unjustifiable, with disappointing and mediocre dishes. The situation was made worse by the customer service: the owner was completely unsympathetic and incapable of listening to feedback, rude to anyone who dared to ask questions or requests, incapable of communicating, and handled criticism by personally attacking the customer. An experience not to be repeated.

19/01/2026: Impossible to book on Saturdays! I called well in advance to book for a Saturday in January, and they told me that weekday bookings are only accepted starting at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. I called nonstop from 10:00 a.m. until they answered (the phone was always free). At 10:15 a.m., they answered and said everything was already booked. This is not serious!

The service is exceptional: the Villa Elena staff is hard to find elsewhere; they are professionals dedicated to their work and have an unparalleled dedication to their clients. We will never thank this wonderful family enough for supporting and advising us during our wedding preparations.
